4 cylinder torque on an 8 cylinder job
It is nice on really small fasters but needs about double the torque at a minimum. If a fastener isn't totally loose and easy to spin with your fingers then this won't turn it... Unless it is a very small fastener. I would say this should really be a 1/4 drive for the output it has. Even a little thread locker residue (after you break the fastener loose) is enough to make this thing stall. Where it shines is on really small fasters, like 1/4 inch or less, but get up into 3/8+ and the fasteners better be clean and easy to turn or it will be a lot of stalling. Knowing how it works in actual real world usage here in the shop, I probably wouldn't buy it again unless it was at a pretty good sale price.

I will buy more

I have used all the cordless ratchets and hands down for the money theses are my choice all day long! If you have too much money and need to get rid of it the snap on is a little faster at 4 times the price. About 30 rpm if you want a great tool at a great price that has a 5 year warranty that you probably won't need this to the tool for you. I have every size and I use them every day. Have never had a problem and could not be happier. Coming from a shop environment I see Milwaukee tools stand up to years of abuse and they last forever. I have other brands that stay in my box and these are on the cart, the floor or my hand all day long and they keep going. When I do buy a new one it will be to take this one for home use.

Shes a beauty!

Like all of the Milwaukee fuel line this tool is fantastic. She’s got enough zip give your fingers and knuckles a bad time when in a tight spot. I use it everyday as a HD mechanic, one of my regular go to tools! Definitely worth checking out, you won’t regret it! I also got the boot for it to protect my investment, also well worth money. It will help keep your ratchet free of debris on those extra dirty jobs and protect it from getting beat up while using it. Definitely spend a little extra for the boot (# 49-16-2558)

Great tool with good torque
It i use this tool to get to larger fasteners in tight spots in the heavy equipment rental industry. Only had it for a few weeks and it has not failed me yet breaking loose the nuts and bolts I have put it on. Top heavy and a bit awkward in the out of position areas. Way better than running the nut or bolt out with a manual means. But get a good grip before you pull the paddle. It will smash some fingers when all that torque comes on. Next purchase is the extended ratchet in 1/4 inch and 3/8.

From Snap-On Guy to Milwalkee Guy

I have had a Snap-On 3/8's drive electric ratchet for the last few years. Needing some more torque, and upon learning that they didn't make a 1/2 drive ratchet, I investigated and found out that Milwaukee makes one. I ordered one and upon arrival, I have never had a cordless tool with so much bite. It is the same size as my 3/8's Snap-On tool. I am now a full-throttle Milwaukee guy. The warranty, price, and quality are second to none, and the products are so innovative and neat.

Great products

Milwaukee products are some of the best there is. I use to own the yellow and black brand when I used a friend's Milwaukee 1/2 drive impact and was hooked on Milwaukee from that point on. I ended up selling the brand I had and replaced everything with Milwaukee and have not looked back since and keep getting more and more Milwaukee tools. I gave my sons all my air powered tools as well. Great products, great batteries, great selection of tools to do anything your life requires.

Good product

Works great, I'd just suggest that the batteries be protected more as sometimes when using it like a non-powered ratch to either loosen a bolt enough for the power ratchet to be able to turn in, or just giving that last little tightening to confirm you end up pressing on the side of the battery sometimes to get enough leverage and think I'm going to break it. Also would be even better if it was a little smaller and lighter in future updates. But overall a great tool.

Amazing tool for tired hands
Keep a few trucks in the driveway and there is always something to tinker with.
My hands are often swollen and sore, (too many miles) and it’s difficult to hold a ratchet to do anything (change water pump, remove seats, remove hood, etc). With little grip, the tools fall out of my hand. Talk about frustrating. Takes forever to repair something simple. This M12 ratchet is amazing. Not only can I easily get bolts out, it is so fast.
