Small but mighty!

Its really amazing how small and powerful these drills are. They also have the hammer drill option for smaller jobs which comes in real handy installing tap-cons into cement (get a dedicated hammer drill for big jobs). Having the 1/2" chuck is great along with the short length. We use these on our air handlers for work and they have held up wonderfully. We are very pleased with these tools and Highly recommend them.

Resolved Drill Problem

Had an issue with my M12 fuel hammer drill Gen 2. Sent it in for repair and still had problems. Customer service contacted me to resolve issue.
They sent me the new M12 fuel hammer drill Gen 3 complete kit. My expectations were certainly exceeded The customer service rep should get 5 stars for great communication and for resolving my problem.

Milwaukee is doing some really great things! I love all their tools and this 12v drill is no exception, it looks and feels like and 18v. Unless you're a contractor that needs to push and abuse their tools 12-14 hours a day, this drill will be way more than enough for anything you will ever need and quite honestly I'm sure it would be fine for the contractor too!

My hands are huge and It's amazing when I've used 3 other brands of 18volt drill guns and your 12volt gun is the most comfortable in my hands. I live how thick it is and how my hand isn't jammed si high to accidently press the drill in/drill out button. And the power you put into 12v is the sane as other 18v units. Love mikwaukee power and quality

Good small drill, but not robust

Good compact drill. Saves lots of room in the tool bag. Under 5 hours of use and the drill trigger button broke when pressed while the forward/lock/reverse button was in lock mode. Seems like the trigger button is only supported on a centre support peg which isn’t very sturdy or strong. Look online for some pictures and found similar issues.

30 years of Home Theater Installation and this is one of the best hammer drills to use period. If there's another drill that can the job right out of the box at a clients home, I have seen it yèt! Light weight and powerful doesn't just apply to boxing. That title goes to the M12 series of drills and impact drivers.

Great compact drill. Wish it came with 2 big batteries but still worth the price! Great warranty included and easy way to set up a repair service. My hammer functionality stopped working and my chuck got the wobbles. Signed up for eService on here and it was super easy and quick.

It’s a great drill, lightweight, plenty of power. I was worried that a 12 V drill wouldn’t have enough power and I would have to go back to my 18 V drill but I was wrong. It’s done everything I’ve asked of it and more.

Gets the job done. A little sensitive to sideways pressure such as trying to bore out your holes a little more. Will cut off if you try to much. Other than that it powers through most materials even steel square tube.

Great compact powerful drill/driver. My only issue if you’d call it that is that on 1 speed it’s still a bit quick while using it for screws. There isn’t much difference between 1 and 2 speeds, in my opinion

No disappointment here. The brand lives up to the reputation. Got it for drilling into concrete. I predrill and set multiple anchor bolts for hours at a time. No lag or over heating.

Good Decision

I been retired for about a year now and finally getting the time for projects around the home and garage. I have been watching a lot of YouTube on tool reviews and testing and been shopping for the best tools for me within budget. I decided to go with the M12 line because its size and power, I haven't got a chance to use the Hammer Drill/Driver yet, but have used the osculating tool and impact driver. My first impression is the siize and weight and feel in my hand feels very comfortable to me, I heard some people don't like the size of the grip. And the hammer function was very important to me as well to me, just in case anchor something in my garage. Anyway the last drill I bought was a Black & Decker in the 1990's which I still have, tools have come such along way since then. When I received my Milwaukee tool kit and open the box, I was like a kid on Christmas morning and now I know what it is to be a Milwaukee Fanboy! I can't say enough about these tools and I'm looking forward to using them and trying the features, maybe I can give a more detailed review in a few months. So far so good Milwaukee 👍🏼

This tool is the perfect size for working in and mounting cabinet. With the hammer drill feature mounting cabinets on concrete walls is a breeze.
