Decent for a non fuel tool
The ratchet is ok for what it is intended for. Very light use and increasing work efficiency. It does not have much power so don't plan on using it to break loose tight bolts. Mine ended up stripping and won't turn after about four months of use and is currently in for warranty. As with any other Milwaukee tool I now recommend getting the fuel line only. The standard M12 and M18 non fuel tools are not worth the price. They are much weaker and less well built/durable than the fuel line. If you're going to bother buying Milwaukee stuff might as well spend a little extra and get the good stuff. The non on fuel line, sad to say, is simply not up to par

ratchet

Being a mechanic my whole life I found this tool to be weak and bulky. Instead of being a go to tool it is just another option in the tool box for a 3/8" ratchet. Only good for rolling in and out fasteners that have lots of clearance. Not for breaking anything loose. Basically the price dictated whether I should keep it or not and that's a 50/50 decision. Not the quality or performance I have come to expect from my M12 tool collection. Everything else in their ratchet line has more power but is much bulkier making them an expensive choice as they are useless in the Automotive industry. I'd be interested more in the 3050-20 but the price is prohibitive.
No, I do not recommend this product.

M12 3/8 drive ratchet
I use this tool everyday as an automotive technician, I purchased this as a replacement for my last one that lasted 4 years of extremely heavy abuse. My old one still works but sometimes the ratchet slips but it only recently started slipping after the hours of abuse it’s handled. Hands down my favourite tool, and lasts an extremely long time even with the small m12 battery. This tool saves a lot of effort and time with every job and gets into some very hard to reach places. I recommend this tool to anyone and everyone, definitely the most bang for your buck out there and one of the best quality ratchets out of all the big brands like snap on and Matco.

Good power ratchet
Great power ratchet for automotive and diesel work. Though there are newer Fuel models available, this still very well built and has a decent amount of torque. When it can't break something loose or tighten enough the ratchet at the end is tough enough that you can use it for a hand ratchet, which is perfect. I'd recommend the newer Fuel ones, but if you can find one of these for cheap it's soooo worth it!
5+ years of hardcore automotive and diesel top-end work without any problems. Standard old M12 1.5Ah batteries are totally fine and give good runtime in this ratchet, maybe charge once every day or two.
Yes, I recommend this product.

light weight tool

I got this tool to use on automotive and shop repair. It stripped out while taking off a cover over hydraulic hoses. The bolts were not that difficult to remove with my hand tools so I was surprised when it was skipping gears and stopped working. Cudos to Milwaukie for sending me a new unit. Im hoping that I got a lemon with the first one and the replacement holds up a bit better. I like the ergonomics, weight and power so Ive got my fingers crossed with the replacement. I would recommend the tool because of the customer service that stands behind the product for repair or replacement.
Yes, I recommend this product.

M12 cordless 3/8" ratchet
I needed this ratchet for work. I run a printer and we use battery operated ratchets to remove and install plate cylinders from the machine several times a day as well as other parts. This particular ratchet is a bit weak. I usually have to give it a crank by hand to get the bolt started and to put the bolt back in as well. All that is fine because if it were too powerful it could cause damage. So far it seems to hold up well in the harsh environment and with heavy use. I am actually more concerned about the battery than the ratchet as I see some of the older Milwaukee tools in the shop being used have battery packs that are literally falling apart. All in all, this ratchet does the job that I need it for.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Two in less then 9 month!
I love Milwaukee products and rave about them to all my co workers but this ratchet is garbage! Two have now broke within a year (first one lasted 3 months) and it is very inconvenient to get it repaired. I work 8-5 and service centre is open 8-4:30.... I now have to figure out how to get time off to get this tool fixed which should have lasted. I don’t even want to replace it with the same model... I will be asking to have it replaced with the fuel model.
This ratchet was only used for light use a few times a week. So disappointed! Would not recommend

A versatile "Go-To" tool in the M12 line!
After purchasing the *non-FUEL* Milwaukee M12 5-piece kit, I liked them all so much I went out and bought this during a promotion - it's a MUST have for any automotive work. It's also priced phenomenally well compared to competitors.
As I find the M12 series has fantastic torque among the whole family of tools, this ratchet is controllable at 250 RPM and super light/wieldable. I absolutely love how compact it is as I use it regularly for small engine repair, automotive jobs, and general fastening. It's battery life is superb with the 1.5A batteries with not much need for using the more bulky XC batteries when it tight spaces.
10/10 would recommend for any one looking to expand their M12 collection that needs a compact and controllable ratchet.
