Milwaukee has done it again! Another versatile & durable everyday tool! Love everything about it except the fact that it drains even the XC batteries after one use. Other than that, it will do everything it is supposed to do and has a neat needle/tip kip. Thanks Milwaukee!

Worked great for small stuff, golf cart tires ect..Filled up two trailer tires to 65psi overheated and will run but not make pressure any more. This is the first Milwaukee tool that has ever failed me. Needs to be a lot more robust and prob m18 for me to buy another one.

Great inflator with a flaw.

Really wish this inflator had a 12v plug in option to run if the battery was dead. I have a few M18 in my work truck but only 2 M12 for my solder iron radio. Even if it had a standard 5.5mm power port so a 12v plug or 12v battery like a jump start pack could be connected.

It is good in a pinch and as a back-up for getting you to where you want to go with re-inflating tires. Be realistic on what it is to be used for. The biggest thing I would like is a memory so you do not need to reset the desired fill pressure every time you turn it on.

My son bought me this for my birthday. A great idea, very impressed with it. It's so easy to use, very light and keeps my tires filled up as one of them has a very small leak. I keep it in the car at all times. A nice Christmas gift for someone. I recommend this highly.

Love it. I just wished if it would take m18 battery instead of m12. I know there is m18 tire pump but it's way to big and it takes lot's of space in the vehicle so the m12 inflator is the perfect size with the wrong type of battery. Overall im very happy with it as is

First couple times I used this inflator to inflate my car and truck tires worked great. Next time I grabbed it to use it now it has a temperature symbol on it and it won’t work anymore. Completely disappointed
I have all Milwaukee tools and this one has failed on me.

This is a great little inflator, I use it to re-inflate my truck tires after airing-down for off reading. It’s easy, can be set to whatever tire pressure you want and walk away/do other things. It has all the little tools to be handy for kid toys on the back as well.

I originally purchased this unit in the hopes that it would work well with my 1 ton truck, and it does... kinda... While the inflator is rated to 120 psi, I can only imagine the amount of run time it would take, not to mention the batteries required. The tires on my truck are set to 80 psi, and even just getting from 70 to that takes more time than I expected. Not to mention it really drains the battery. However, when I did get a flat, I was able to get the tire from 0 to ~65 psi on a full charge, at least long enough for me to move the vehicle.
The real issue lies in the batteries, rather than the inflator is what I've found. The kit I purchased came with an XC 4.0 Extended Battery, and to inflate about 10-20 psi requires about 50% from a full charge. I would like to see the boost in efficiency with the 6.0 battery, but I haven't been able to get my hands on one yet.
Overall it does the job well, but I would recommend this more to people that have cars/suvs/light duty trucks, rather than heavy duty vehicles.

The m12 compact inflator. Is a nice self contained air compressor, that holds all of its attachments on the unit. On a single 2 amp battery it is able to inflate 8 passenger car tires up to spec. Much more convenient than pulling out the heavy duty air compressor.

I bought this inflator about two months ago, because I am constantly in and out of construction sites as I am a project supervisor, and I had previously gotten a few flats. I asked you that Milwaukee would be the best choice as always has been but this inflator filled a tire and a half on my F150 then stopped pumping air. I made a sound, but didn’t produce any pressure. After that, I realized that my 6.0 battery did not even take a charge so I tried a fresh for final battery and the same thing happened except when I went to try the four XE battery in my drill I could tell it was lacking power and when I clipped it on my pants, the battery was so hot I thought it was on fire. The battery casing was slightly distorted, so I did not want to risk injury or damaging my other tools
So I Dispose of it the next day, and it was even more distorted, like the acid was leaking on the inside. Complete waste of money and cost me two new batteries because I can’t wait two weeks to send it to be examined and repaired. Expensive lesson.

I got this inflator for my kids to inflate bicycle tires and sporting goods. They have no issues using it. They set the pressure, press the button and it is good to go. No complaints, nice back lit display to see in dark conditions, small size for easy storage.

This thing probably works good for small car tires, bike tires, sports balls. For my dually truck not at all. It did take my 80psi front truck tires up from 65psi to 80psi, but it took about 20 minutes and drained a freshly charged M12 4.0 battery, per tire. You won’t be able to use this at all on rear dually tires where 1 valve stem points in and 1 points out since it doesn’t come with any type of attachment for dually tires. Even if you put an attachment on you wouldn’t be able to screw it on so you’d be stuck holding it on the tire for 20 minutes per tire and it isn’t quiet to listen to at all. You’d also need a 4.0 battery for each tire or between the 20 minutes to take a tire up just 15psi and waiting for the battery to recharge each time would take you all day.
It’s Milwaukee though, so I’m sure an M18 version of this with a dually tire attachment and possibly even a small tank on it is already in the works. Had to take this M12 one back, its useless to me. Just hope the M18 one is going to be priced in reality.

Great little tool for remote inflation of tires like on trailers or ATVs. Works fine for car tires but I wouldn't rely on it for my trucks tires which are 35×12.5 R17. Would love if milwaukee could come out with one that was meant for big offroad tires using m18

I loved this inflator until it failed after a few years of very light use. I saw a video of a guy taking one apart to try to fix it himself. The inner workings look like the cheapest stuff they could put in there. for the price this is very disappointing.

The inflator operates exactly as advertised, which is rare these days. It is easy to use, fast (from 30 to 35 psi in one minute), very portable, reasonably priced. What I expect from a Milwaukee product. Hopefully it will be as durable as the power tools.

I like it very much, It does air up small tires pretty fast but it take awhile for a r 17 inch tires and up.
The one thing I'm glad to see is you put a bigger battery with it the 1.5 was just to small.

It worked great inflating my 35 in mud tires and the trailer tires and my general vehicles
. but then the read out says 3 to 4 lbs when not connected to anything, thats not to annoying but the performance of it has decreased dramatically over its use.

Decent for price, doesn’t work great under constant use, bought to use at beach for quad etc. works decent for quads. Lacks the power or air output for larger blows ups and such and the lake. Works for the atv so and small car but that’s about it.

I have one of these at work and at home. They are convenient for regular automotive tires, but I have burned two of them up trying to use them on heavy duty tires requiring 90-100 psi of air pressure. Find something better if that is your goal.

I keep this compressor in my tool box. I work construction and often find screws in my truck and trailer tires. Works great to top off the tire until I make it to the tire repair shop. I recommend using an xc battery. I highly recommend this tool

I have three cars and have used this compact inflator many times.I have topped off 4 tires in 5 minutes. No more extension cords or trips to the gas station.Set the desired tire pressure press the button DONE...It doesn’t get easier than that.

Compared to my old battery operated inflator this M12 Compact Inflator was supper fast. Quickly topped off all tires for all my vehicles in no time flat. The auto shutoff meant I didn't have to stare at the device waiting for my desired psi.

Its compact, lightweight, and is impressive in its performance for the size it is. Seems to inflate tires fairly quickly for its size .I've used it airing up tire on riding lawnmower, F350 truck, and even "top off" a 14.9" x 28" tractor tire

Great for a small tire, once in awhile. But, when I inflated my stock size pickup tire, something melted inside of the tool. It was fixed under warranty. Now it just happened again and is out of wty. I feel this product has poor advertising.

I have the kit that came with the 2.0 cp battery . It aired up my truck tire from 24psi to 38 psi in about 15 mins . The battery level went from 100% down to 25% . I will buy the 6.0 battery next might last longer. overall I like this unit.

Nice unit with surprising power and speed. I have the 18v inflator too and haven’t had to use it yet. This inflated a totally flat 800x16 tractor tire I 5 minutes. Didn’t get hot and the battery was still on green when I put on the charger

This pump is PERFECT esp if you have multiple bicycle tires to fill! Sure beats a bike pump. I use this inflator every day for bicycles, car & van tires. Now I'm not tied to an 120V Outlet & Air compressor & Hose! THANK YOU MILWAUKEE!!!!!!

I thought I was going to like another Milwaukee product. However after less than a year it smells like it's burnt and won't hardly work at all. I tried to inflate a normal tire on my trailer. I guess I should have brought the M18 version.
