I love this tool, but....

I use this for trailers, bikes, law mowers and tractors (almost everything with a wheel), it’s awesome, but after 1 year the pressure reading had gone crazy. I like enough I even bought them for my father and father in law...That said, I expect a lot longer life than 1 year. Can someone from Milwaukee help me with this problem?

Perfect for light duty like filing bicycle tires and topping off truck and car tires. Not recommended for filing car and truck tires that are completely flat. Device needs to be sut off after 10 minutes to avoid over heating. No a problem for bicycle tires or adding a few psi to car and truck tires. Great for the uses I have.

Strong little inflator. Using for my fleet of light duty trucks, yard equipment, works quick, quiet, inflates at no time, energy efficient. Love the fact that I can set the pressure on the digital screen, auto shut off is nice.
I use to inflate volleyballs, camping mattresses- small enough to stay inside the truck.

We have over 300 used cars on our lot at work so this little compressor is perfect when there's a flat tire on the cars or trucks you take this mighty portable air Compressor out there and set it for however many PSI the car takes and walk away and it will fill your vehicle's tire and stop when it's at the proper pressure

Son of a gun this is a life hack for sure. I have used this little guy for tractor and vehicle tires. Just a gem piece of equipment. Milwaukee always comes through but this small light weight and powerful tool has saved me several times. Power on, see current psi, set desired psi, then press start. Love this thing.

I bought the M12 inflator for my 5th wheel camper. I already carry a complete M12 tool set so this is an important addition. Normally i use all M18 tools, but the M12 is smaller and lightweight. The inflater works well. Easy to use, and does just as i intended.
Hopefully i wont have to, but i would buy it again .

I am very pleased with the inflator. I filled a trailer tire that was completely flat and the battery only went from 4 to 3 lights. I really like the ability to set it and forget it. I set the psi and walked away and did a few other things and came back to an inflated tire and the inflator shut off automatically.

This tool is extremely convenient and it won’t jump around like a low dollar House of Pain in the rear. Having the auto stop helps out when airing up your tires while multitasking. I can top off my tires while loading my equipment or getting to the campsite off the trail. It isn’t gonna go from flat to 40psi in 60 seconds but it will inflate and stop itself. I’ve found if you leave it too long after it stops you’ll lose a few pounds but it isn’t a big issue for me. I just make sure I take it off once I set something down. I do wish the inflate button was the larger of the two or if the power button was made into a switch on the back or something. It’s been dropped and lives in a toolbox with saws, recips and nailers. Still looks brand new and works more than acceptable for the price. The ability to throw an m12 on it is perfect given their size and price if you don’t have an army of batteries like me. Pretty much gold if you have to inflate anything from rafts to truck tires.

This replaced, or kicked my old inflator to the curb. Love the programmable pressure shut off. Inflates car tires relatively easily, and even handles our SUV tires without a long run time.
One knock, it doesn't have a quick release shrader valve connection, but instead you have to screw the hose on and off.

It takes a little time to air vehicle tires but I bought it for the side by side and four wheeler and it works great. Its portable that makes it better so I don’t have to pull out compressor for a small job. It is great to take out on the trail just in case you have to plug a tire and need to air it back up.

This tool really works well. I got it so I could take air on the road, and my wife could fill up her bike tires without having to fire up the 25 gallon compressor in the garage. It works great and she loves it. It makes just as much noise as the big garage compressor is the only reason I took off one star.

Bought this to use while doing seasonal tire swaps. Was very quick and effective in topping up tires after installation. The fact that the hose nozzle screws on to the valve stem of the tire makes it incredibly easy to use and allows me to step away while the tool is filling without worry. Great purchase!

I use this for my truck, trailers, and sports car on track days. Outstanding for bicycles and includes adapters for presta and schrader valves. I used a 4.0 xc battery and it lasts a long time. Checking with my mechanical tire gauge show the unit hits the set psi exactly and stops - saves so much time!

Was very sceptical as to weather this tool would or even could perform the task I bought it for, after seeing product reviews on YouTube. Base on duty cycles and the need to run it at 80psi.
My single intended use was for charging PET bottles in a bottle rocket launcher with school students in STEM activities.
The launcher is designed to run off an air compressor which having a large tank provides both pressure and volume so I was worried that this would not work, having no real volume. It kinda worked at first. So after redesigning and re engineering the launch mechanism so it was able to hold a volume of air it now works absolutely perfectly every time. My concern about duty cycle isn’t even an issue in this application. It only takes about 30seconds to run up to pressure and works every time.
This is a real time saver as previously we had to take a electric air compressor leads and hoses out to the oval. The air pump is brilliant and I’m finding more uses for it al the time.

Works well and inflates car and van tires fairly quick. For bigger trucks, you might want to consider the more expensive M18 version.
My only nitpick on this one is the lack of memory function, so every time you turn it off you will need to set the target pressure again the next time you turn it on.

Have bought six of these for friends. Used to inflate all kinds of tires from bicycles to Bobcats. However, the screw in end is so stiff it is impossible to attach to the valve stem. Two examples - motor cyclical rear tire, Bobcat. Needs more flexible hose, easier screw end, or right angle adapter.

Have used it on several tires already. I topped of a couple to the correct pressure, it's very easy to set the pressure you desire. Also to reinflate a couple tires after being repaired, it's faster than I thought it would be. I'm very happy that I got it and Wondering why I didn't get it sooner.

This inflator is very convenient to use and is able to inflate just about anything! I’ve used it primarily on our bike, RV and truck tires. It’s very fast for topping off our tires, however if you’re starting from scratch on large capacity tires you may want to use a heavy duty compressor.

Amazing little inflator that you can take on the go. Great to keep with a vehicle or in a camper do you can always have it ready if needed. The tire pressure reading is really accurate as well. I only noticed a 1-2psi difference when checking it manually with a tire gauge after inflating.

Used a 6.0 battery on my tire inflater to put 15 lbs in my truck tires had to replace battery on every tire and two of my 6.0 batteries won’t work anymore the unit quit working after using 6 times now I’m out of my batteries but Milwaukee replaced inflater let’s see how this one works

Great little air pump I bought it to air up the bladder in an expansion tank for a water heater. I have used it a few times to air up a few car tires 35psi and it took a few minutes but it did it no problem I was surprised how quick it worked!! And only took 2 bars off a 2.0 battery

I’ve had issues with trying to put air in a car tire that was flat to the rim. The bead was not broken. But it would not air up. I recommend the the NEW M18 Air Compressor it does air up when it’s completely flat. And it does it fast!! 40psi from 0 in 2mins 51secs. Very impressed….

I do landscaping and lawn care for a living. We run over nails and screws and all kinds of things you can’t imagine that poke holes in our tires. It gets super old breaking out a full size compressor, or a cheap one that takes ten years or paying at a gas station to temporarily fill up the tire till I can patch it. This thing has pumped up everything from mower tires to 35” tires. It’s stupid easy to use and pumps fast. I’d definitely recommend getting a bigger batter than a 2.0 but it works. Also I forgot I had it hooked up to a trailer tire while finishing a yard, went to drive away and heard something. Looked in my mirror and my pump is bouncing off the pavement at 20mph still hooked up. Immediately stopped. Every piece of black plastic had broke off, deep cuts into the red main body and hose tattered. Went and found the battery that came out, plugged it back in and it STILL FREAKIN WORKS!!!! Hoping to find replacements for the trim and hose. But I can’t speak highly enough about this little machine.

Great tool so far and the gauge is accurate when comparing to other tire gauges I have. I’ve used it from bike tires to truck tires and all is good. I’m a little concerned about the non-serviceable hose, but the future will tell how long it will hold up. Still performing like new.

Second inflator fail. First purchase right out of the box did not work. Second inflator made it less than 8 uses and now will not produce any air. I have not been using it for smaller tires and has not been over used. I love Milwaukee tools, however this tool needs improved.

i think its meant more for emergency use, can only run for 10 mins continuously but will do the job! love how you set the pressure and it turns itself off when inflated. did all my truck and 10,000lb trailer tires from 60 to 80 psi and trailer tires from 40 to 60lbs with ease!

Inflates lawnmower tires like you wouldn’t believe, trailer tires take a few minutes and you’re on your way now my 3/4 ton ram at 80 psi is a little much but it has bumped up all four tires when the season changed and they all lost 4-7 psi. This is a must have for your truck.
