6.0 batteries that’s a NO!
I now have 3 6.0 batteries and with in less then a year one of them are bad already. I keep reading about warranty and what’s cover and not but you can’t sit here and tell us everyone is having this same issue but I still see people posting about how warranty wasn’t cover but everyone is having the same issue. Look I love Milwaukee tools I been investing a lot these past 3 months in the M12 collection. I used my tools daily but Milwaukee needs to get this issue fixed. Batteries are not cheap. My 3.0 and 4.0 I have had them the longest and no issues. I wouldn’t buy the 6.0 nor would I let my friends buy them either. The 3.0 and 4.0 work great.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Does not lock onto the tool
I bought a 2 pack of these batteries to replace the small stock batteries that no longer accept a charge. These batteries are a lot better with power but I’m constantly pushing the pack into the drill driver, and I don’t have this problem with any other batteries. Now I have 2 dead small batteries and 2 batteries that work sometimes. I’ve tried other M12 batteries and they work fine, the clips that hold these in are just not holding up. One of my other large M12 batteries fell out of my tool bag and the locking clips snapped off. I love the M12 tool line up and have numerous tools but the batteries seem too need help with their durability.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A lot of 1 star reviews and issues
I bought one of these because I disliked the performance and styling of the 2.0's I had. I've had 1 for over a year and just recently got another, along with x2 4.0's and they don't have the issues mentioned. I'm also not kind to my tools; I use them for anything and everything, from below zero temperatures to being a temporary hammer. The only thing I don't do is store the batteries in the cold. I'm not posting this to refute the claims being made, only to state that a lot of us who don't have issues with the 6.0's don't really think twice since they worked for us. I for one recommend these if you want to get the most bang out of your M12 tools.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I would not buy this product again

These M12 batteries are the worst, I keep on having to buy new batteries because either the plastic tabs break off or they get so loose they don't even lock on, what kind of design flaw is this, same thing happening with coworkers tools, M12 tools are awesome but due to the batteries will no longer be getting these tools or batteries, I really hope they updated the design and make the clips better or make them metal or something, these batteries aren't cheap, should expect them to last more than one month. I probably gone through 4 of the xc batteries and 2 xc6.0 never will I buy any more. Stick to the M18 line.

Repeat failures
I want to preface this by saying that the line of m13 tools are well made, dependable, and easy to use; the fuel subcompact band saw is amazing, the size of the impact drivers and drills are perfect for getting in tight spaces.
However this battery specifically sucks. I have 3 or 4 that I got from various tool kits, and 3 of them are dead after minimal use. I haven’t had this problem with the 4ah or any of the other smaller batteries. It’s super annoying, confusing, and disappointing; I depend on these things for work, I can’t work when the batteries randomly decide to crap their pants. Do better Milwaukee.

It didn't last three recharges
I purchased this battery new, in its unsealed packaging, in May 2023. I have recharged it maybe '3 times since. I had already noticed that, after a full charge, the next time I needed to use it the tool (M12 compact inflator) would show it to be 3/4 full, then 1/2 full the following time. Today I used it again and the tool quickly went into "battery alert" mode. Now when I try to recharge it I just get the dreaded red-green-red flashing lights on the charger.
I purchased this battery from an online reseller, hardly an "authorized MILWAUKEE distributor only". So now what, Milwaukee?
No, I do not recommend this product.

I would have to buy again because I have too

I have almost every m12 tool made, and I love the m12 fuel, but the larger 4 and 6 amp/he batteries have given me the same problem that other people have. Small drops even falling off chairs and small step ladders end up breaking the tabs. On some of my tools I have to use the larger amp/he batteries because they eat up the smaller ones, i like that bigger batteries seem to make the tools sit more stable, but they seem so fragile. I have spent almost as much on batteries as i have on tools and that's sad. I just love the m12 line though, the size to power ratio is perfect for me

Surprising Runtimes
I bought the cordless rotary tool to replace my now fully dead corded version from a competitor (we all know who they are). It's a tool I previously have bought corded because they tend to have notoriously poor battery life, this pack changes the game. I needed to grind a curved channed into some 1/8" mild steel to make a more robust quick release tool and settled on using the 1/2" sanding drum knowing full well it would take longer but produce a smooth cut almost exactly the size I need (the consumables are also cheaper than stones). To my surprise after 10-15 minutes (possibly longer) of sustained full speed I had my cut and half my charge left. This leaves the 12v batteries of yesteryear in the dust.
