Great power and sets to depth every time

I was a little bit hesitant on purchasing this product at first. I didn’t think that there would be much at a difference between my hand stapler and the crown stapler until I used it. The big difference for me is the fatigue factor. There is little to no fatigue after using this all day for installing insulation stops and vapor barrier. It set the staples every time and power was never an issue. This will be a part of my tools for a long time to come.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Much better than a manual stapler, but not perfect

Pros: Relatively lightweight. Worked fine for stapling the fabric back on the bottom of a set of 8 chairs. It was a real hand-saver when compared to a manual stapler. Cons: It isn't as fast as a pneumatic stapler, but it is sufficient. The T-50 staples that this stapler utilizes are not as small as the staples used by the manufacturer of the chair. With their larger diameter wire, the T-50 staples are more visible. The manufacturer's staples are much thinner. Also, the white reference mark on the nose of the stapler doesn't exactly align with where the staples are ejected, but once you figure this out it isn't a big deal. Other: On hardwood, I found that I had to hold the stapler firmly with two hands to prevent the staple from going in just partway or being bent. Placing one hand firmly on the nose of the stapler prevented this from happening.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good Light Duty Stapler

Not fast, but it does get the job done. Not well suited for stapling into hardwoods as the staples tend to bend and deform, or not driven in fully. The unit locks out when there are about 5 staples left, but tends to jam on the last couple of staples from the first string, so I recommend tossing the last few staples each time it locks out. It does seem to be a waste, but in my opinion, its better than having to clear jams.

Excellent stapler!

Excellent tool that helps get the job done. I particularly like that you’re able to adjust the strength of the stapler to adjust the depth of the staple depending on what material you are stapling and into what. It makes for an effortless job of putting staples in at the squeeze of just a finger. Just aim squeeze and reload as necessary! I most recently used this to put up a temporary fence and to install some insulation.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Stapler quality

Solid well built stapler. What did you expect? Easy to add staples. The pressure adjustment doesn't seem to change settings much. Even at highest pressure setting the other stapler I had put staples in better, flatter to surface than this Milwaukee. But it's not terrible and the battery is removable of course to charge. The old stapler battery wasn't removable and appeared to charge but wouldn't staple.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good little stapler

I like this stapler. We used 1/4" staples on insulation for our basement project. (3000 ft) No jams, depth adjustment worked well, battery life was good. Now the things I don't like, not enough staple capacity, when is stops firing due to low staples it has a small quantity remaining that may fall out, move out of position making re-loading slow. The T50 staples break apart very easy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Milwaukee's biggest fail - Absolute garbage.

This is the absolute WORST tool that Milwaukee makes. I have many Milwaukee tools, and you could say I'm a champion of the brand. I own multiple drills, impacts, saws, lights, fans, etc. I've used Milwaukee tools for years. This is the biggest disappointment from them. I'm not sure how there are so many good reviews. After only a few weeks of use, the stapler started to 'dry fire' and would make the noise, but no staple would come out. I'd pull the magazine out, reseat, and even try a different run of staples, and it didn't matter. When I was fed up enough to write this review, the tool was out of warranty. I don't know if I received a dud or if this tool is just that awful. Now, I use an ARROW manual stapler. It's a bit more cumbersome, but it works every time. I will continue to use Milwaukee, as this tool seems to be an outlier, but this one has not earned the coveted Milwaukee name, in my opinion.

Versatility

This has been a great addition to my milwaukee collection. I was on the fence for a long time with this tool if i should buy it or not the amout of use i would get out of it and what other thing i could use it for ? Versatility of a tool is very important to me personally. It really does everything milwaukee advertise without a problem and more i even use it to hang party decorations with a smallest staple of couse but it makes every job fast on the jobsite and off. I also did some custom wood benches and did the stapling of the upholstery with this , so it has met my versatility requirements. The battery seems to last forever on the 2.0 . I wanted to rate it a 4.5 and the reason for that is dial for sink of the staple there are no numbers r some kind of guide to it. Maybe its that way becuse you will have to adjust depending on the type of wood ?nut its should at least reference the cliks on the dial.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The dreaded flashing lights lockout

When it works, it’s great. Most of my experience with it is that it doesn’t work. Have bought three different ones thinking it was a bad unit but same experience on all three. Most of the time when I pull the trigger it does not fire and gives the flashing blinking lights. Solution seems to be to pull the battery and try again. May or may not work. Same blinking lights. Try again…. Huge time waste. Note: I am aware of the “less than 5ish staples left safety lockout”. I’m describing moderately full magazine fill and also tried on various amp hour battery sizes (all OEM branded). Given this is the same result across multiple units AND a ton of internet activity describing the same problems for other people I’m concluding this is a manufacturing/quality problem. I would not recommend this particular model. Would consider again if new model is released on the hope this issues is resolved through redesign.

Staples NOT Flush!

This tool will not install staples flush. I tested this tool on maximum power with 1/2" staples going into 2x2 pine furring strips, and none of the staples are flush. Either this tool somehow doesn't have enough power to tackle this minor work, or it's a faulty tool, but I don't know which is the answer. Hopefully, Milwaukee will address this issue for me.

Less than impressed

Not my favorite Milwaukee tool. The staples don’t always penetrate even with a 6ah battery and instead of shooting closer to the top of the gun they’re about 1/4 inch down which is difficult to cover when doing finish coil work. I used it on a few jobs but sadly it’s just going to end up taking up room in my tool box until I find a different use for it

Plenty of power!

Great tool! I bought it to put screen wire on my porch. Easily drove staples in a variety of new and old treated lumber. Couldn’t use my hammer stapler for most spots because of need for precise placement. Would have been a horrible job with a hand stapler. Have used it on several upholstery projects with great success. Another great Milwaukee tool!

We've worn out 10 of these staplers while we never wore out a Markita stapler. I got all Milwaukee tools but it looks like this stapler isn't made to staple for longer then an hour otherwise it burns out and doesn't work any more. I hope Milwaukee puts an upgrade out very soon because this one doesn't seem to get the job done. Thank You

Powerful Stapler

I purchased this stapler to avoid the drudgery of the manual stapler. Used it to make easy work of attaching carpet to wood for my trailer boat supports. So easy with this stapler! No more heavy pressure needed with the manual staple gun. Adjustable staple depth makes dialing in the correct depth a breeze. Highly recommend this gun!

One handy tool!

Way too long, I have gone without a battery powered crown stapler. Just wait till you help someone re-screen a screened in patio! I have two other staplers, one barely does the job, the other takes a toll on your hand after a couple hours. Now, I just load and go! I have a couple M12 batteries, so I'm good for the entire job.

Good stapler

Good stapler, makes installing insulation really easy. Battery use is minimal, insulated approx 850 Square feet and barely got into a 3AH battery. One dissapointment is that you pretty much need to be out of staples before you can load another strip. about 3 staples prior to the lock to be able to load a strip.

Lightweight handy little stapler that does not Jam

This is one handy little stapler that I bought for one job. This little handy stapler ended up being used alot. Have used it for multiple things around the house and at work. Originally I bought it for a stapling down house wrap then ended up using it on insulating underneath homes and for tar papering roofs.

Applicable for garage door technicians!

So I bit the bullet and purchased this tool to see if it would staple some low voltage garage door opener photo-eye wires without damaging them. I put it to the test on a random 2x4 and stapled the wire to it 50 times. All staples were snug and didn't tear into the insulation. No need for my manual t25 stapler!!

M 12 - 3/8" Stapler

This is a great little stapler and since I have 4 batteries that fit it and a extra fast charger that makes this little guy even a better deal, my only dislike is the depth setting - you just don't know where you are at unless you move the dial all the way to either limit other than that no problems soo far.

The mobility of a cordless with the setting power of a coded stapler. It is a bit heavy but I don’t staple all day for a career and am willing to sacrifice for automatic mobility. I recommend using name brand staples to prevent jams. Not a Milwaukee fault but quality staple issue common to every stapler.

More strength for tougher jobs

We bought this to use for replacing the headliner in our Model A Ford. The wood in the car that you staple/tack to is oak and very hard because of it's age. The electric stapler we have just wasn't doing the trick. The Milwaukie stapler is adjustable and we are very impressed with how well it works!

I like it a lot and so does my hands. I can staple a lot more accurate then a tracker and my hand doesn't hurt from a spring trigger. I'm currently trying to convert everything into Milwaukee cordless, battery powered tools. It's easier, faster, quicker then anything else out on the markets today.

Great for insulation installation

Makes quick work of installing insulation. I bought this as I was needing to put up a lot of backed insulation and did not want to cramp my hand up using a manual stapler. This has saved me a lot of hand strain. I wish the capacity was a little bit bigger, but I won't knock a star for that.

I have lots of Milwaukee tools and am a big fan. They are all great performers and this stapler is no exception. Works perfectly. A bit heavy, but that helps sink the staples and keep it in place while shooting them. Might cause some arm fatigue on big jobs but we’ll see. I’m impressed.

I have had 2 Milwaukee staples in a row they work great for a few month then they miss fire more and more until they waste so many staples they are not worth using! I am very disappointed with this Milwaukee tool! Wish I could find a staple that would work for longer than a few month!

Best stapler

I have had several unpowered and powered staplers, and they all have 1 thing in common, they dont like to staple both legs of the staple into wood properly. This stapler works right every time. I have not had it fail to properly set a staple yet. this gun is great!

Excellent performance! Love the features and I like the sequential firing modality. I prefer using it with a 2/ah battery. It doesn’t consume the battery power very fast so I get long runtime with just the 2/ah. Slightly on the heavy side but good ergonomics.
