True review of longevity
Today I find myself looking for a new 2401-20... I purchased the old one about 6-7 years ago, I believe it was the first generation, the new ones don't look a lot different. I use this tool daily at my shop. I've beat on it, Use it as a torque wrench sometimes and it just never gave up as much heck as I put it thru. The rubber around it finally gave up a couple years ago, but the drill wouldn't die.... Finally today after using it like a heavy ratchet, it started to smoke but still works! I think it's about time to buy a new one! It was expensive 7 years ago, but it was the best $$ i've ever spent! Im a professional mechanic...I was truly USED!
Yes, I recommend this product.

been in the major appliance repair business for 27 years. this is the most frequantly used tool in my arsenal. used on almost every call i run, which averages 8-10 calls per day.usually have to charge battery only on week-ends..amazing!my old one just died after 4 1/2 years hard use.i couldnt allow myself to be without, so i went and bought another one that evening, even though i couldve went thru the warranty process for free replacement.i felt like i got my monies worth out of it,and as i said, i didnt want to be in the field without this tool for even 1 day.buy one and youll not be let down...

I love this tool

I use my driver to R&R covers on HVAC equipment. Way better than the mini-impacts that strip screws so easily. You could set this clutch to set a #4 screw just right in a pound of butter. The light is great in a dim equipment room, the "fuel guage" is a winner. The bit change is truly one-handed. The bit is locked with no trigger pull, so you can break loose the stubborn screws. Batteries charge quickly. Room in the soft case for a bit pack. My driver rides in my truck and because the batteries freeze when low on charge I tend to weaken them in a couple of winters. Get one of these and run your truck over your mini-impact a couple of times. I hate panels with stripped screws that come off after I leave site.
ProsCompact, Easy To Use, Ergonomic, Good Battery Power, Good Power Output, No Bit Slippage, One Hand Bit Change

More capable than expected.
I bought this to replace an old screwdriver that batteries were no longer available for. I had an opportunity to use it recently and was pleasantly surprised to find this driver was capable of driving large lag screws that would normally require a larger drill with a nut driver insert.
It did the job without the appearance of even working hard in the process.
I'm very happy with the screwdriver and would recommend it to anyone needing a tool around the house that can handle demanding jobs.

Milwaukee 12volt drill driver with torque settings
8 months ago
It’s okay. I wish it was a bit faster at full speed. The grip needs to be slightly thinner where your hand fits around for the trigger for smaller hands. So far the batteries are doing well. It’s a good weight, not heavy. The bit that comes with the drill is not magnetic and if you try to magnetize it, it’s still not magnetic. At least it has torque settings. Most drill drivers now do not.
This drill isn’t a superhero. It’s the sidekick.
No, I do not recommend this product.

compact size and lots of drive!
i have a ton of same battery Ryobi tools, but recently borrowed one of these Screwdrivers while at friends and really liked the size, function and weight. It is way handier to use and easier to get into tight spaces than my
drill . Batteries last a good while and it came with two. the case is nice and the charger hangs on the wall out of the way. Great little tool that may make be convert other tools to Milwaukee!

Most Used Tool in the Box
One of the most indispensable tools in my arsenal. Have used it to drive everything from screws and lag bolts to removing nuts and bolts from engines. It's 275 ft-lbs so says the specs, so it's right up there with many of it's larger counterparts but not for heavy duty concrete work/etc of course. Lightweight and pretty comfortable in the hand. Positive click reversing button. Just a solid tool...
ProsCompact, Easy To Use, Ergonomic, Good Battery Power, Good Power Output

What a terrific tool!

I use this Milwaukee driver frequently - almost ever day and it's become one of my favorite tools. It is perfect for driving screws and it works fine for light-duty drilling in most materials. It's great for drilling aluminum, sheet metal, drywall and wood. If you need to drill and set Tapcons in concrete on a regular basis, you will need something more heavy duty. But for drilling with a small bit in a variety of common materials and for removing and driving screws, this tool can't be beat. The motor and gear train in the tool are solid and provide all the torque you will need for anything that will fit a 1/4" hex chuck. The battery is small and lightweight, but has no problem powering the tool all day long. For my regular use, I can go as long as a week without recharging. In a nutshell, this tool is very versatile and well designed. I would buy another without any second thought.
ProsCompact, Easy To Use, Ergonomic, Good Battery Power, Good Power Output, No Bit Slippage
