LED Focusing Flashlight - 325 Lumen

Just like the other comments, mine doesn’t stay on. Stays on bright then flickers to low setting then shuts off. I work in tiny tank rooms and bilges and love the overall design of the light but does me no good when it doesn’t stay on. Constantly change batteries but nothing helps. Had this one for about a year. Today I purchased the red lithium pivot light and hopes it last like my other Milwaukee products.

I liked it while it lasted. First the red plastic trim ring cracked after only a month, Then it started to randomly shut off every so often. At first I didn't notice much, but now it's pretty much unusable after 4 months. It won't stay on at all when I need it. New batteries don't make any difference. This was my EDC work light, but I need something reliable. This isn't it.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM IT DOES NOT STAY ON I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BATTERIES. AFTER READING THE REVIEWS I'M NOT THE ONLY. I HAD IT FOR ABOUT YEAR OR TWO AND STARTED DOING THIS AFTER THREE TO FOUR MONTHS BIT I DECIDED TO LET IT GO AND THEN I SAID LET ME LOOK AT REVIEWS AND THIS IS WHAT FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVING DO IT STILL HAVE WARRANTY?

It’s amazing how unbelievably bad this flashlight is. It simply doesn’t stay on. For about 2 years I assumed I was doing something wrong. Then I finally read these reviews. And it was THE most expensive model in its category. Shameful that this company continues to sell a clearly defective product. It should be zero stars but that was not an option.

I've been using this light for a solid few months as a industrial electrician and have had any issues that have been mentioned in other reviews I love the warmness of the light and brightness can use it in panels or following conduit 50ft above. Only thing is flying through batteries I need to get a Rechargeable besides that it's a amazing light.

Doesn't work, Bought this about 2 years ago and acts as a great desk ornament now. It worked great the first week, then the Push Button/Controller FAILED, click it and it flashes once, but if you do a fast double click it will stay on in low setting, Believe the High setting is causing the failure. Wished Id have bought a different model.

I have two of these lights. As others have stated below, both cut off within a few seconds. Both have fresh lithium batteries installed. They light up can be focused and hen shut themselves off. I tried disassembling one of them and the only thing you cannot access is the switch, so I believe they have faulty switches.

I have been using this flashlight for years, at workin automotive and camping. I really light the low power mode when you don’t want to flood there area with light. The flood and spot focus feature is very useful as well. I have had no problems with this at all, so I was very surprised to see all the poor reviews.

Bought this product and light will not go on. Seems to be the issue with everyone! Bought orbital palm sander and after a month of using it a few times, it doesn’t come on either!!!! Come on Milwaukee, what’s going on with your quality of tools-you used to be the leader of quality tools!!! NOT ANY MORE!!!

Like many others, this flashlight will not stay on. When I need light I can't be stumbling in the dark and wondering if the light will work. I need to return this, but I don't know if Milwaukee will replace. I've been a big fan and want to support the Company, but this is really disappointing.

I'm having the same issues that others have reported with this flashlight. It goes off after a brief period of time after being turned on. I really want to like this tool, but it is very disappointing for the price paid. I'm a big Milwaukee Tools fan, but this product is a failure.

Took it out of the package and was unable to get it working. I changed the batteries out too. Found this out the night before a major storm when I was making sure I had everything packed. I have numerous Milwaukee products and this is the first to be an outright failure.

Bright light BUT it tends to cut off after about 5 to 10 minutes of use . After it fails the first time the amount of time it stays lit gets short between failures . Haven't seen this design with the batteries in a revolver type holder made by anyone that holds up .

This product never worked properly. I have long since purchased a dependable flashlight , using this as a back up. I have been toting this thing around, and it has never worked properly on the rare occasions I have needed it.

The product was great for a bit but like the other person who reviewed it, the light cuts in and out all the time now. Now its going to sit in the drawer and collect dust when I have a ton of Milwaukee tools I use for work.

Same as everyone else, thought it was the batteries or something I was doing wrong. Probably threw away a lot of good batteries before I realized it was the light. Don’t bother purchasing, they should just stop selling it.

Terrible product to say the least !!! Will not stay on and always in the worst places.. Milwaukee should not have there name on this product.. Too bad because it’s a good size, please get back to me on this !!!

We kept this flashlight for emergencies and blackouts. A loss of power occurred yesterday. We go to the cabinet to use the flashlight, and it only blinks. Change the batteries, it only blinks. Very surprised.

Works for maybe a month…now, Blake, every other review written here, it just flashes once and goes right out and I’m actually pretty good at fixing flashlight. This one is a complete piece of junk.

325L Focusing Flashlight-I used this product at least until it stopped working, as a physician, using it to see patient's physical exam and to help me navigate the hospital late at nite, on call.

Light will not stay on. I was expecting more out of this light since it is a Milwaukee product and they tend to have a good reputation. Would not recommend this light to anyone! Buyer beware!!

I use this in all types of conditions. It shuts off after turning it on. Not reliable, can't get it replaced or credit for it. Big disappointment as most of my work tools are Milwaukee tools.

worked okay for a little while.Now I push in the button and the light flashes and goes out..Changed batteries etc. pretty disappointing to see a Milwaukee product this unreliable.

Started off good but like others, it just flashes and doesn't stay on, even with new batteries. Had high hopes for was disappointed in the performance of the light.

It won’t stay on. I’ve tried new batteries several times but it burns through them way too fast. I’ve stopped buying batteries and don’t use it bc of that reason

I agree with another purchaser. Light turns on then off immediately. I’m in Australia and will be returning to the local shop. Unimpressed.

Light dims and shuts off by itself even with new batteries. For the price point and the brand, this is extremely disappointing.

Note: The rating on this light would be a 1-star before fixing it. I read all the negative reviews on this light and found out the reason for the malfunctioning. It boils down to cathode tailcap treads contact, the pocket clip and the tightness of the retaining ring on the inside of the tailcap. To fix this light to five-star quality, You have to super tighten the retaining ring on the inside of the tailcap (with the two holes on each side) using either thin needle nose pliers or a small caliber spanner wrench, and I find removing the pocket clip by first removing the o-ring and then sliding it out helped a lot by allowing the tailcap to be screwed down further and tighter. Before I dod these fixes, I was getting the same high mode intermittent failures and could repeat the failures on demand by unscrewing the tailcap almost al the way and slightly pressing the button while on. Now, after the fixes, it functions perfectly. I'm enjoying the forward clicky, NO PWM even on low mode, gorgeous warm tint, fit and finish with vertical horizontal checkered grip, and lenser-esque type optic which preserves overall lumens pretty well when going from flood to spot.
