I expected more from Milwaukee
I have a camera tripod that would have worked just fine for my laser, I purchased this tripod only because it was from Milwaukee and I trust that name to be jobsite tough. I am really disappointed in this purchase. This item is flimsy and as a result it is hard to use to make precision adjustments. I would return this if I still had the box.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Too wobbly
Just like most the other reviews, the part where the laser attaches to the tripod is incredibly wobbly and impossible for me to get the laser within the bubble. Even after fully tightening the laser still wobbles. Pretty disappointing on how the overall construction of the tripod is especially cause I'm a Milwaukee fanboy.

Very versatile

I’ve had this tripod for six months And it hasn’t failed me yet. It certainly isn’t designed for outdoor applications but has functioned well indoors. It’s ability to attach the laser under the tripod using the mounting bracket (sold separately) is a game changer.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Do better Milwaukee
Bought this tripod yesterday along with an M-12 laser level. I own tons of Milwaukee tools, and I am happy with all of them other than this tripod. The mount for the laser is wobbly with no way to tighten it. I'm glad I still have the box so I can return it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor quality

I should have read the reviews on this product before purchasing. Assuming with the name Milwaukee it would have been built a bit more resistant to failure. Seems that the problem is consistent with breakage where the swivel base is attached to the tripod.

Hands down, the most flimsiest tripod ever. I would be weary of setting up my 360 laser on it because the legs wobble so much. I wish someone pointed out the reviews before I brought it. Too busy to return so it’s a giant paperweight.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Was really excited to mount my laser on this. Main mount is incredibly flimsy and the centre height adjust gear is plastic and cheap and broke under normal use. First time i raised it it broke. Very disappointed

Needs improvement!

Milwaukee's 72" laser level tripod is ideal for setting the horizontal height of your laser level up to 72" and as low as 28", helping to get your laser level off of the ground. At your lowest height, you can make precision adjustments up to 15". The tripod is made of aluminum making it very light weight with a 1/4" to 20" pan-tilt head. All adjustments are done using different knows that turn to loosen or tighten. The overall height is adjustable using telescoping legs and an on board level helps to make sure the tripod is as level as possible.
I would have to agree with many of the reviews that I have read regarding this tripod is that it is flimsy. I feel like the tightening mechanisms and the precision height adjusting crank needs to be made of better quality materials. Because this tripod is being used to support my Milwaukee M12 3 plane level, which is not cheap, I need to feel comfortable mounting my laser level to this tripod, which at times I do not feel comfortable. The tripod is light in weight, but because I am mounting such an expensive tool to the tripod, even if the tripod weighed twice as much, it would not really make a difference for me. Even if it weighed 10 lbs, I would prefer that over how light it actually is. Compared to my table saw or miter saw or rotary hammer, a tripod of that weight would still be nothing. Having said all that, I have always been on the extremely careful side of using and taking care of my tools, I get that sometimes this is impossible given the nature of the conditions that we work in. I have not had issues with the crank adjustment or tightening mechanism failing after 6 months of use, but I still feel like the mechanisms should be made of better quality materials. I give this tripod 2 stars because I have been able to use it regularly without mishaps, but I took away 3 starts because of the quality of the build. I own everything Milwaukee and this is not the quality that I expect out of all my Milwaukee tools.
