Stick to wood and thin metal with these cups

Maybe not for stone/stucco and concrete. Tried to punch a hole in stucco today with the bi-Metal cups. The cups only made it about 1/8 of and inch into the job only it burnt out. I ran to the box store and grabbed the Carbide version which made quick work of it. The carbide version was great. 3/4 stone a bit of lathe metal and plywood, no problem. The set is easy to use but prefer the slightly easier to use center on my full Milwaukee set. This set has more threads than the upgraded design on the other Milwaukee set.

Glad I Experienced This Hole Saw

This hole saw doesn't eve compare to other hole saws I have used. It cut through the door like it was nothing, no real effort or force needed to help it along. I used it to cut door handles in four doors, and no difference, all went through straight and it was almost like the cups were being pulled through the door. I also had a project to put holes in plastic pots to stack them and even after the doors, still went through the plastic with no issue. The big seller is the warranty, lifetime tooth break replacement... SOLD...

Yes, I recommend this product.

I install plumbing for fuel heater monitors. These saws cut through log cabin assembled walls without a hitch. I'll jave them for many more jobs and many more years to come. I thought it was a hoax at first, the name brand email and no requests for shipping or handling or card numbers assured me it wasn't. I used to use DeWalt, I'm a die hard Milwaukee fan. Superior performance on all of the M-18 and Fuel lines above the competition.

Hole dozer

The tools I got are great, cuts through very good, the diamond max it very nice, especially when in need to trim the tile to put in the receptacle. The hole dozer and the blades are amazing cuts throught wood very fast, I really liked the arbor compared to other ones I used I like this one the most the arbor dosen't get jammed with the hole bits, and the wood comes out easy out of the dozer. Would definitely get more of these.

I’m a plumber using these all day, had them for a couple years now and luckily was offered a few more by Milwaukee! Work great literally have had the teeth glowing on sheet metal and they keep cutting. Thankful for the Milwaukee team always putting in effort to make a happy customer with either their innovative new tools to make my day easier or their amazing customer service will be a customer for life!

I would buy this product as the results.

The same day I received the hole dozer set my neighbor call and was putting in a dryer vent in the extension they put on the back of their house. The 4&1/4" worked extremely well with out leaving a bunch of wood splinters on the back side. I used the 2" to put hole in shed wall for conduit run. Same results there. I am VERY happy with the performance fo them both and looking forward to using the other 2.

Strongly recommend these for all applications

These wholesalers worked great for us. We were required to drill multiple large holes through 2x lumber. They aren’t the fastest holesaws for lumber, but they are the cleanest cutting ones that wet used. The ability to remove the wood from inside the holesaw much easier than ones in the past which made the project go much faster. The arbor works flawlessly, preventing stuck hole-saws as well.

Great product! I recommend the hole dozer

Used the 4” and 3” hole saws to cut through OSB boards to insert pipe conduits through. Boards included a thin layer of grout and Gypsum board totaling a thickness of 1.25 inches approximate. Haven’t t used the smallest one but i imagine it works the same. The east of installing the various sizes on an instant was great. Saw cooled off quickly. The teeth are sharp and had a clean cut

The construction is undoubtedly sturdy and the teeth don't dull very easy. The bits don't falter when it comes to thicker materials and the sharp pilot bit makes it easier to perfectly center your holes. I've been using these for a little while now, and I am always glad to see the thought that goes into Milwaukee's tools. Definitely a nice addition to anyone's toolbox, big or small.

Perfect for 3" Sch40 PVC Pipe

Installed new 3" Sch40 pipe - an upgrade from an undersized 1-1/2" pipe. Bit created a clean hole through vinyl siding (in reverse), two layers of 1/2" sheathing, old clap-board siding and a 2x stud on its back. All while consuming some of the existing 2" hole. It also gnawed through two 10 penny nails encountered along the way. Just hope its not dull now :)

It said it could cut through sheet metal…wrong

Before buying the 16 pc set, I reviewed the types of material these bits could cut through. I saw sheet metal listed and bought the set. If by ‘cuts through’ we mean scrapes, then it did the trick. In short, I’m sure these are great for wood but if you’re looking to cut through thincresibly thin sheet metal then I would look elsewhere.

High quality, long lasting

These hole saws seem to be the slowest wearing hole saws I've used. Only thing is the paint wearing off which we all know isn't shocking at all. They don't walk much either, again which is a common problem with hole saws. Used mine to make holes for over 50 lights on a semi truck. Would definitely buy a few more for my needs.

Do not buy if you are looking to cut metal the teeth dull and bit becomes useless very quickly nothing like the old design hole saws i have many sizes of the old design and they last and can be sharpened easily with a triangle file. this new is set up to be ground with a wheel so there is no reference to sharpen these.

Fast aggressive cutting. Definitely recommend

This product is nice and works great on wood, plastic, and metal. They cut fast and stay straight, and don't dull easy. Negatives: the teeth are very rugged. Hard to notch tubing with these as the teeth get caught and jump. Also the through holes are usually not a very clean cut on the backside of wood.

Yes, I recommend this product.

one hole is all you get.

I bought this hole saw to cut a hole in a piece of 1/4" mild steel. Milwaukee says it works on "thin/think metals" and the packaging showed a hole in an ibeam so i figured it would handle the task. i was able to (barely) get one hole done and it barely removed the paint on the second piece.

Are use this whole size to inspect for headers and support above windows and doors. They cut clean holes that are easy to repair. I like that there are many access holes to move the plugs from the hole saws and that the teeth are warranted for breakage.
