It feeds screw strips smoothly and has a tapered nose cone to fit into compact spaces. The screw depth adjustment is flushed so that it is not accidentally adjusted. The screw length adjustment works with screws up to 2" and all major brands. The auto start mode on the M18 FUEL drywall screw gun continues to work with the attachment while reducing noise between screws and providing 3X longer life.

Like others, I’m not impressed. Worst Milwaukee pu

Like others, I’m not impressed. Worst of my 100’s of Milwaukee purchases. Number one, throw the instructions in the garbage, go straight to YouTube, as everyone is smarter than the guy who made those instructions. The bits do not fit without removing all of the nose cone, including the last insert. You will need to pull it with some sort of pliers. Number 2. Don’t get excited about how well it works. It missed using 3 random screws on each strip of screws. You need good strength to push the screws in, so only good directly behind the drill. Not good for reaching while holding drywall in place.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Need better instructions and more bit options

As others have stated, just getting everything assembled took a lot of work and watching online videos to fill in the missing holes from the instructions. The biggest problem is that all the available collated screws are square drive and out of 9 different bits that I’ve purchased, none fit the gun properly or will work. It blows my mind that Milwaukee doesn’t produce a variety of styles of bits and limit you to just Phillips. All of my tools are Milwaukee, but this one so far is a paper weight because I can’t use it. Massive disappointment.

No, I do not recommend this product.

doesn't work like it should

I'm a professional contractor. This tool is very problematic. it takes a special 6 inch Philips driver that is very difficult to find even online. The collated screws get jambed and the screw size depth adjustment is very difficult to adjust, like it is stuck. the biggest issue is that unless you are perfectly straight when drilling it will not set the screws and as a result grind down the tip of the driver so that it un-functionable....Hence the need to have additional driver bits which are hard to find. It absolutely doesn't work in corners when trying to screw down edges of the drywall, why?....because you can't position it perfectly straight. I purchased many units to tool up my crew and not one of them liked using the tool. A huge waste of money

No, I do not recommend this product.

Collated attachment

Im not sure why everyone is complaining in these reviews, the gun itself is great! Runs for a longass time on one light 2a battery the collated attatchment works great w only a minor missfire that has only happened a few times over a years worth of big jobs in the last year of owning the tool, and to add to that that misfire is admitedly so due to user error and not fully deppressing the plunge mechanism btween shots. Tool is a Total game changer no cords perf set screws and no bit shards in my fingertips or lips hah

Yes, I recommend this product.

Can't get the screws to load properly

Tried my best to use the product for a couple of days. The screws did not feed properly. They were coming a hair short of where they needed to come for the screwdriver to drive them. To use the gun with collated screws, I need to put slight pressure between the driver and wall, then pull the plastic collated strip until I feel it click into place, then drive the screw. I can't figure out a way to make it work.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It jams often and is difficult to use but thats not the biggest problem with the tool. It requires a special 5.8 in bit that is basically impossible to find, the easiest way to get the bit is to ship the bit in from Australia. And you have to use that special bit. It does jam more than other similar products but all colated screw guns have problems like that. I can't use this tool because i can't get the bits

its okay, but im not impressed esp for the price.

This does work, buttttttttt you have to hold it perfectly flush for it to be 100%, or go back and correct the ones that did not drive in properly. It does jam up sometimes, defeating the time saving process. If I could return it i would, or if Milwaukee did a trade in to upgrade that would be great. Essentially you have to hold it perfectly straight to make it work right, making a one hand process two.

Works flawlessly

Works flawlessly right out of the box. Tried with the SENCO Products 06A162P Senco Duraspin# 6 by 1-5/8" Drywall to Wood Collated Screw from Rona. One handed screwing of drywall is a no brainer. Any company not using a collated system is throwing money away. The auto start stop feature with the M18 drywall gun is fantastic. Highly, highly recommend this.

Yes, I recommend this product.
