Do not recommend

I own many Milwaukee power tools, and a few hand tools. Milwaukee's quality is always the best you can buy, in my opinion. This is not the case for these wire strippers. The steel for these is very soft, this not what I was expecting at all. The stripping function is not bad but the cutting edges for cutting wire folded over after the first cut, and have gotten much worse since.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice design. Weak metal.

Really wanted to like these. Feel comfortable in hand. Grips stay put. Plier and loop functions are handy. The bit let down is the wire cutter. Despite only being used on routine electrical work, the blade has frayed. Now, no matter how I'm using it, the pliers get stick all the time.
One of the photos shows the pliers stuck closed without the lock on. Pretty disappointing.

Innovative yet flawed
These are very different from most other wire stripping pliers available on the market. Milwaukee deserves credit for the innovative design and there are several great features that I feel were improved upon as compared with other wire strippers. First, the needle nose can actually be used as a viable needle nose which saved me from carrying around a separate tool. Secondly, these pliers cut 6-32 and 8-32 screws better than any other pair I've owned. Unfortunately, the conduit reamer does not work and, as mentioned in other reviews, the locking mechanism broke fairly soon after purchasing. Also, there are very few times that I can think of in the trade that I would need wire strippers and a pipe reamer at the same time. Because of the broken locking mechanism I have stopped using these and switched to another pair. Milwaukee needs to improve upon design and construction for me to recommend these to a co-worker.
ProsVersatile, Well Built / Quality
ConsNot Effective

They are nice but...
The cutting edges are very soft. Not long after buying them I was cutting wire and the cutting edge was deformed and the handles would get stuck in the closed position.
Another thing is the markings for the gauges are kind of hard to see in low light. It is nice that they are marked light and dark and better than most other pliers but still not perfect.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Favourite pair of strippers
My first pair of these lasted me 3 years of consistent, easy stripping. I was able to cut bundles of number 10 wire all the time with these so I’m not sure what the other reviewers are talking about with the cutters being weak. I would say however that you can’t use them to cut BX or you will mess up the cutters. Perfect needle nose as well. So much better than the Klein strippers with the awful end nose. Light weight and fits small hands with comfort grips that aren't massive. The spring was always strong and never broke or fell out on me. The lock is placed in such a way that accidental locking is almost impossible. But one handed locking is easy as pie. I will say they are a brittle metal which is fine; I broke mine dropping them from a 8’ height but I suspect years of that led to them breaking on me. In conclusion I own 3 of them and will continue to pick them up in case Milwaukee decides to discontinue them or change them.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great tool!
A slight but solid upgrade to the original. Has the capability to strip up to 8 awg now and is WAY more balanced than competetor equivalent. Less metal around the grip means safer for rework and other possible live situations. The new lock doesn't catch unintentionally like the first gen which is a plus. All in all a great tool have yet to find any faults.
ProsBalanced, Better Lock, Great grip, Sharp

Poor quality control
I thought these would be a nice heavy duty alternative. I am very disappointed. The pivot is so sloppy that the cutters will not bypass at times preventing them from closing all the way. Because of this they don't do a very good job of stripping either. The screw cutters will only cut ¼" or longer, an unfortunate result of the heavy duty design.

This one is a dud

These are such a disappointment. Stopped here at the product page looking for warranty information. Looks like they don't warranty these. I had them 3 months and loved them for well they strip, and feel great in the hand. Then I needed to cut some wire, and it basically destroyed them. They are ruined from one use of cutting wire.

Best wire strippers ever
I bought these combo pliers a couple months ago and I love them. They feel so comfortable in your hand. The handle is slim and does not have a bulky feeling in your palm. I use them for everything. I especially like the cutting edge because the two sides slide past each other making it really easy to cut through many things.
Drill .125 hole .375 from needle nose end to make electrical eye connections. Make needle nose teeth more aggressive to cut into wire covering to aide in stripping plastic in a mid wire multiple connection. Great tool, I have worn out two of them.

I was a little skeptical to buy a milwaukee hand tool but I saw so many tradesmen saying how great they were so I tried them and I love them. I can't see me going to a different pair because these pliers are so versatile they've became an essential tool in my tool bag. I highly recommend giving these a try!

Not bad at stripping and comfortable but cutter edge is worn and dented/burred after wiring a dump trailer to the point it catches the other edge. Went to exchange and I did. Once home I opened brand new ones and the hinge is completely different tolerances and lose from new, not a sign of quality control.

To soft to cut wire
I think they are decent strippers but junk for cutting wire, only had mine for 2-3 weeks before the cutting portion began to fill full of dents, there appears to be zero edge hardening or the alloy was way to soft for a wire cutting tool. To bad I'd like to like them but they just don't do the job.

Best wire strippers, bar none
As an Electrician who has used several brands of wire strippers I have settled on my Milwaukee 6-in-1 pliers, they are the ultimate set of wire strippers. As others have mentioned, Milwaukee's goal of creating multitools to eliminate the need to carry separate tools is admirable and appreciated. This tool just feels right in your hand, other strippers feel flimsy by comparison. The needlenose tip is very usable and strong, thanks! The cutter blades stay sharp and work great. Sounds like they've addressed the locking clip issue, glad this has been changed to metal instead of plastic. I too had a pair that I broke the clip on almost immediately. The only issue I have is that the bolt cutter is too thick, if you have to trim cover plate screws, you cannot cut them short enough for devices set in tile, you know what I mean guys. Fortunately, my Linesman pliers bolt cutters are recessed more for better depth control. Chuck your other strippers and buy a set of these now, you won't regret it.

Awesome wire stripper and the fact they are a pair of nice ridge somewhat needle nose pliers and not some flimsy halfass pair like some I've had to deal with are great so nice in fact that they sprouted legs and walked right off my tool box and never saw them again I miss them dearly.

Comfort grips, too weak

Bought it in March, and on 1 June already have experience. Already got loose. Front cuts already doesn't cut anything. I don't use it for cut fat wires, but how easily I had damaged front cut speaks for weak metal. It just soft. I should say, it have really comfortable grip

The working end of the tool is practical for electrical work but the rubber sleeve on the handle is loosely attached to metal frame and it slips off during use. I am returning it back.
