Great idea, poor execution

I've had this product maybe 6 months, and the line gets tangled inside the reel every. Single. Time.
If that didn't happen, I'd give this product 5 stars, because the gearing ratio is amazing (but I'm wondering if that's also the source of the problem).
No, I do not recommend this product.

do not think i will buy this product again

first day gears started slipping, babied it for 2 weeks then the crank handle and casing came off and the gears ended up on the floor.
