A beast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to cut some thick PVC pipe, and this blade tore through it like butter! I don't think any of my other blades would have been able to handle it so quickly. I then used it on a small piece of plywood, and it made quick work of it. Of course, the cuts were quite rough, but it wasn't made for smooth cuts. This blade is made to rip through materials, and it lives up to that promise. I've added a new tool to my arsenal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use sawzall blades for lots of remodel projects and this blade outperformed the other blades I have purchased in the past. The blade lasted through cut of lumber with the embedded nails and didn't grab or jamb like I have had happen with others. The tip allows for placement in between studs or small openings to start cuts. It is thick enough though that it didn't bend during use in tight areas.

Zips through nails like butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a couple of pallets that I wanted to break down, but the nails made the boards impossible to pry off. This blade made it super easy to cut through the frame AND the nails, and then I could just pop out the embedded nailheads. I'm not sure how many other uses I'll have for this as opposed to the standard blade, but it definitely made my life easier for this project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the Sawzall The AX 5 blade to cut up a pallet. Some of the pieces did have nails embedded in it while some did not. The blade was easily able to cut through it all without any damage to the blade. After using it, the blade is still sharp and in good condition. I’m not sure how many jobs it can be used for, but based on this first use, I would recommend it.

I have been using these ax blades for awhile, and find them to be quite durable. I am a handyman, so I get involved in all kinds of repair work. I have used these blades to cut through nails in boards, take out fences, cut through roots in the ground and all kinds of other demos work. These blades are not cheap, but time is money and they get the job done.

Though these blades are more expensive than others-I'd venture to say they're worth the difference. I've bought blades before just based off of the best price or cheapest bulk rate and they'd work ok but you can tell the difference with a true sawzall blade. Worth the price and I'll be sticking with the AX blades on my future demo and constructions.

Just got a free sample from Milwaukee the other day. I put this blade through a rough test. It cut 25 nails in a 3 feet with no trouble. After that i made some marked out cuts and had no problems. For the final test i cut up an old ironwood tree. My chainsaw struggled cutting the ironwood where the ax cut right through with no problem.

This was so easy to cut the nails down and prevent someone from getting hurt. It took no effort on my part other than putting the blade where I wanted it to go. Great product. The carbide teeth wood blades are super durable & worth the money! I used it to remove roughly 14 small trees that had invaded the wood line of my yard. They quickly chewed right through the 3” - 4” tree trunks. The blade still looks brand new with no wear what so ever on the teeth. Definitely a 5 star product in my opinion.

Whether I’m demoing out a section of wall or cutting through walls and floors for drain line work, this blade does it all. I’ve worked in a lot of old houses with #10 nails and this blade eats right through them. I can also use this blade to cut through copper, PVC, and steel gas pipe too.
Definitely, my new go-to blade.

The bllad cuts through nail imbedded wood kind butter! I paired with the M18fuel super sawzall and a 6.0 high output battery and if performed above satisfactory. The only negative experience I had was Intense blowout with OSB sheathing. However; that could’ve been user error and it didn’t stop me from completing the job.

We have used this to cut various items and it works well for cutting small, but strong, tree limbs/bushes. We also have used it for my kid building/wood craft projects too. Multi purposes.

I didn't get any wobbling with this blade but also depends on your machinery. At the end of the day, a few teeth's went missing for what I was using it for but this has proven to be far dependable than my other blades.

Definitely would recommend keeping a few of these on hand. Works great and cuts through thick 4x4s no problem. I had some old 4x4s with nails throughout, that I needed to cut up and burn to get rid of, and this one blade went through all 20 no problem. I will definitely be keeping 2 of these babies on hand at all time.

Smaller logs that needed to be trimmed up this was a great choice. Definitely a great brand and sharp blade. We had a deck project and this again came in handy and didn't take long to cut through the lumber that needed to be cut.

These samples showed up at the right time. I’ m in the middle breaking down some walls in our laundry room when the bladed showed up in the mail. Compared to the standard sandal blade these are very aggressive cutting the wood like but and barely flinched cutting nails. Definitely worth it. Time saver and durable

It cut through framing nails and studs quickly and smoothly. The second use was for cutting out old plumbing. Worked pretty well but bit into the metal pipes a couple times. Overall, useful blade.

This issue was the dust would get in the blade crevices, so it did not cut nicely at all. This was after cutting one piece of wood, and as you can see it got beat up. I wouldn't recommend this blade. It did the job, but poorly.

Did The Job Nicely!

Thick branches along with very thick center trunk were not a tough task with this blade. After the shrub came down, it was used to cut and remove heavy roots . Blade performed very nicely even with reaching it into soil to cut roots.

I like how the print says 50X the life and the video says 30X the life. That is quite a difference. I have the blades and they do last quite a bit longer and cut faster for sure. As far as 30X longer that is hard for me to say. Do I think they are worth the money? That answer would be a YES.

Have tried on nail embedded wood only a few times. Work on a large property and using it more for limbs and small stumps and roots that one would not consider a chainsaw. Seems to work well even after getting it into the dirt on occasion. Holds its edge. Pleased with the product

It is not big enough for thick cuts of wood, but thinner more precise cuts I can see this product working well. After one use, the blade has not become dull.

This blade combined with my Fuel HACKZALL will cut through almost everything you throw at it - 4X4 and 4X6 posts, cutting logs into kindling, trimming tree branches and roots, etc. It stays sharp and works fast.
These are the best blades Milwaukee makes. I am extremely impressed!
