No success...
Used this Hole Dozer straight out of the kit for the first time last night. I had to drill through (wood siding), 7/16" sheathing, and a 2x10' bond to vent a high efficiency furnace. To make a long story short - I was only able to make it through the clapboard siding and the sheathing. (was going to give it 2 stars, but why?) I never made it through the 2 x bond because the saw became so dull that it overheated and prevented me from finishing the job. Very disappointed in this product at this time - a hole saw should be good for multiple cuts into wood - much less thin metal or multi-composition materials. As a professional - my (your) money would be better spent elsewhere.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I did not have success using this product
4 years ago
I used this with a 1/2” Milwaukee 18v drill and it would not turn it at low speed and kept catching and jerking my arm violently at higher speeds. The auxiliary handle on the drill actually broke off and then the drills continued turning nearly broke my wrist when the saw caught in the wood. Milwaukee needs to specify a proper size drill and max speed for using this as a safety precaution. I literally had smoke running out of two smaller drills before switching to the Milwaukee drill. But NONE of them worked with the six inch hole saw in plywood. What a complete disappointment.

Perfect for 3" Sch40 PVC Pipe
Installed new 3" Sch40 pipe - an upgrade from an undersized 1-1/2" pipe. Bit created a clean hole through vinyl siding (in reverse), two layers of 1/2" sheathing, old clap-board siding and a 2x stud on its back. All while consuming some of the existing 2" hole. It also gnawed through two 10 penny nails encountered along the way. Just hope its not dull now :)
ProsFast Cutting Speed, Safe
ConsSlow Cutting Speed
Yes, I recommend this product.

It said it could cut through sheet metal…wrong
2 years ago
Before buying the 16 pc set, I reviewed the types of material these bits could cut through. I saw sheet metal listed and bought the set. If by ‘cuts through’ we mean scrapes, then it did the trick.
In short, I’m sure these are great for wood but if you’re looking to cut through thincresibly thin sheet metal then I would look elsewhere.

Hard to review when no instructions
I was cutting a simple hole in 3/4 ply barely through the surface when bad kickback almost broke my wrist and ruined the cabinet grade plywood. No video no instructions. Nothing but hype and marketing. What happened to real useable content?
No, I do not recommend this product.

If cutting metal, look elsewhere
Milwaukee is a good brand or so I thought. This saw wouldn't even cut through the sheet metal in a pickup bed to install gooseneck hitch. Don't waist your time with this if wanting to cut metal and thin metal at that.

Arms Bend
Wanted to love but unfortunately the arms that are used to adjust the hole size bend rendering the tool useless. I cut 3 holes in 1/2" Sheetrock and these bent out. You can order replacement blades but not he arms.
No, I do not recommend this product.
