I do handyman work around our country club. At first I was happy with the product but the first time I went to change one of the bits I realized how poor the design is to change and store the bit. you have to stick your finger and put down. But I do owe owe this screwdriver from getting a serious injury. I was changing the setting on a water heater without flipping the circuit breaker. Managed to hit a live wire. Huge spark shot out and ate the tip off the slotted end and took a good chunk out of the length of the metal end.Didn't feel a thing do to the plastic handle.By the way can you buy a replacement small slot bit to replace the one i ruined?

Nice overall design with poor quality bits.
Used for general construction duties, fencing, household remodel/renovation, DYI, etc. Nice basic ratchet design. The bit storage is secure. Solid feel in hand. That is the good. The bad... The flathead bits bend and twist like a coat hanger. Such poor quality it is stunning. The Phillips bits are hanging in there, but are showing signs of wear far sooner than expected. Because of the poor quality bits, a 3-star rating. Sadly, the overall design does not lend itself to using standard 1/4" bits replacements, making this tool useless with better off-the-shelf bits (including Milwaukee's own), so down another star. Milwaukee... Fix the bits and this tool would be a solid 4-5 stars.

Absolutely for "light duty" only
Overall, it's a great idea, with MANY uses, however, I've already broken 2 of the bits with fair-to-mid amounts of torque (by hand, mind you) ... It's a shame, as it's my go-to screwdriver to take with me, and, to be fair, it's lasted about 5 years ...But, the bits are showing wear, and the large flathead broke ... The reason I give 3 stars is because, for PC repair, the one in my PC pack is great ... The one I use for around the house is not holding up so well ... So, of 2 of the same screwdrivers, one is awesome, the other isn't ... Stick with the "Light Duty", it is then!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not the quality I was expecting
I've been acquiring Milwaukee tools over the last few months and naturally I've come to expect the best. Unfortunately this tool leaves much to be desired.
The good: Very strong magnetic tool retention at the jaw. Slots for storing bits in the handle was a good idea. Material surface finish.
The bad: The ratcheting head wobbles quite a bit. This is compounded by the typical play between the jaw and the bit to make for a rather clunky feel.
The ugly: Poorly executed bit retention at the back of the handle. Mine lock in so tightly it is next to impossible to push a spare bit with my finger tips. I have to use the extra bit to push the others out. All else could be forgiven but this really ruins the overall experience.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Gears don't hold up.
I install and service Home Security Systems. These scrrwdrivers work great until they don't. I've had two of these, and one of the stubby ones. All three of the them have started to bind up while taking screws out. It's a shame because it's super convenient to have all the bits on hand. The ratcheting feature actually had me leaving my drill/driver on the truck most of the time. The tool feels great in hand and seems high quality, but I guess the gears just don't hold up.

Surprisingly poor quality from a reputable company
4 years ago
I own a lot of Milwaukee tools at home and on the job. I do not hesitate to reccomend their products to anyone who wants quality and affordable tools. However, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of my 8in1 ratcheting driver. I've managed to twist all of my straight tips loosening/tightening terminal screws on residential electrical components. They do not appear to be hardened, or I happen to receive a lot that missed this part of the manufacturing process.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The good: Has a nice feel in the hands , looks great , the ranching portion works great for me , the length of the bits is very convenient. A decent price
The bad : It can be a hassle to take the bits out when stored on the driver , the flat head bits are horrible both bent and broke. Can’t seem to find replacement for those bits to fit this handle

Getting started
Heck- I’m an old lady- took me three tries to get it out of the package- which really has inadequate directions on how to put screwdriver together- and a trip to your website to operationalize it! Haven’t even tried to use it yet- but think it will work fine. Glad I’m persistent. It was a gift from Santa- one which I had requested!
Yes, I recommend this product.
