IMPORTANT 2.8 MILLION RENOVATION PROJECT

Boucherville, Friday, December 15, 2017 – Groupe BMR is extremely proud to announce an important renovation project for the BMR Matco Sainte-Catherine store, located at 4320 Route 132, in Sainte-Catherine. Work will begin immediately and is scheduled to be completed by next spring.

This project is part of a large-scale redevelopment plan for all Groupe BMR corporate stores throughout Quebec. After completing renovations in Alma, Beloeil, Chambly and Chicoutimi, this $2.8 million investment in Sainte-Catherine will allow BMR Matco to provide a truly renewed shopping experience to better respond to the needs and wishes of its clients.

“Next spring, the BMR space in Sainte-Catherine will be completely redesigned,” said Martin Lecomte, Vice-President of Retail at Groupe BMR. “In addition to the complete overhaul of the store’s interior, we plan to add a special contractors’ entrance and develop the space reserved for seasonal products, which are increasingly popular with consumers. We will also redesign the store’s exterior for a more modern and stylish look, and relocate the Sonic propane dispenser to improve access,” said Lecomte.

“These are only a few examples of our ambitious project,” added store manager Sidi Diouri. “Through these renovations, we hope to bring out the strengths of Groupe BMR in all aspects of the customer experience.”

The works were contracted to two companies on the South Shore of Montreal: A&A Demolition (head office in Chateauguay) and Constructions Bâtiments Québec (head office in Beloeil). Until then, all the necessary steps have been taken to minimize the impact of the works and ensure that the needs of clients are met. BMR’s experts and high-quality products will continue to be the top priority.
