[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so my grumpy old kitty is very picky. When I got her as a kitten she had been eating nasty junk cat food that had no nutrition in it, so I have had to change her food many times. I worked at a Veterinary hospital and tried all the top brands and she just snubbed her nose at it. I even tried wet food, and she refused. So before this came I wasn't happy about the quality of her food, but she was at least eating it. I have been feeding her this now for a couple of weeks and since the first try she gobbled it up and loves it. I feel so much better about the nutrition she is eating now and, the price is very reasonable. Thank you Iams for making both Pumpkin, and I happy!

We've tried dozens of brands, flavors, textures, etc. and only have a small handful of Oz-approved foods to choose from. Now we can add Iams ProActive Health because he gobbled down the chicken flavored Adult Original formula when I gave him a sample to try! He clearly enjoys the taste and I enjoy giving him a food whose number one ingredient is real chicken. I appreciate being able to provide him with protein, nutrients, and antioxidants at an affordable price. I received a bag of Iams ProActive Health cat food from BzzAgent for Oz to try, but he loved it so much we'll be purchasing it for sure. Thanks Iams and BuzzAgent!

Senior finicky feline likes it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a senior cat who recently has had a little bit more issues with the food he eats. He is getting a little more picky, but more so he has been more prone to vomiting after eating. So we are careful what and how much we feed. I was a little skeptical he wouldn't eat this, but he dug right in and it seems like it has settled his stomach a little, we are finding less vomit after using it for the past couple weeks. The ingredients are better quality than in the food we have used in the past and I feel like he is getting more health benefits from this. We will definitely buy another bag when this one is gone

I feed my 3 cats this and they all absolutely love it! Shiny coats, happy tummies, regular you knows. I have a variety of cats as well, male and female (both fixed) a little over 1 year and then a 6 month kitten. This food is what we get for them plus the wet pate when I can find it, only down side otherwise they would be fed both on a regular basis. Made the mistake of buying "meow mix" when i was too broke and i noticed a huge difference in only 3 days, as soon as i opened the bag all 3 meowed in delight. I highly recommend this if you plan to stick to one kind of food for your cat and can meet the cost.

SOME GOOD, SOME BAD

I have had good luck with Iams original adult cat food feeding 50 cats (rescues) for 2 yrs. Last fall they had a vomiting spell, not sure why. Continued with Iams and good luck until now vomiting again. The only difference is I received the Iams urinary and have been mixing it in. I also had 2 cats die suddenly last week without any sneezing, etc., prior. They looked fine one day but sleeping and the day after each died the same exact way - suddenly and lurching as if in terrrible pain and dead in their tracks. Water came out their mouths afterwards - very strange. Never had this happen in my life - EVER!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Picky Kitty Approves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been feeding my cat Sophia Iams Proactive Health Adult Original with Chicken for a little bit over a month now. At first I was scared she wouldn't eat it concedering she can be quite picky. Boy, was I wrong. For the first few days I mixed her old for with Iams as directed. On the fifth day I gave her a serving of just Iams. She devoured it. Sophia appears to have more energy and a shinier coat. She enjoys Iams Proactive Health Adult with Chicken and I feel better knowing that I am feeding her a more nutritious and healthy food. I will definitely be purchasing another bag after this one runs out. Thank you Bzzagent for giving Sophia and I the opportunity to experience Iams!

Wary, but hopeful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have five cats in total, but Saleen is always our biggest concern when it comes to switching foods. It took us a long time to find one that she wouldn't vomit back up so we always buy it. The other cats aren't picky or near as sensitive. When I propped up the bag of Iams to snap the picture Saleen was the first to investigate. Upon opening the bag I was first struck by how fresh and "kibble"-like it smelled! I was, admittedly, a bit taken aback by the lack of fun shapes and colors, but the cats don't seem to mind at all. Saleen has been handling it very well and I am super impressed. All of the cats appear to be a bit more active as well. I'll report back when the bag is empty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this FREE Iams product arrived it was unfortunately too late to be given to its intended recipient, a 14 year old male long-haired domestic. (RIP, Logan) But thankfully where there's one fun-loving furry friend, a neighborhood of his companions are usually within vicinity.
The neighbor cat made quick order of dashing toward the colorful bag the minute it was cracked open, not unlike the same fashion he does with a fresh can of tuna fish. You know the type, I'm sure.
The flavors appeared to meet this feline's fancy because he didn't come up for air!
All things considered (color, texture, advertised nutritional value, and taste), this product received a stamped seal of approval.

Having owned cats all my life, I'm a firm believer of the Iams chicken cat biscuits!
I have tried my cats on all sorts of brands of cat biscuits over the years, most of them stay in the bowls and do not get eaten and end up in the bin! Never had this problem with Iams biscuits, chicken flavour in particular always seems to get gobbled up by the end of the day.
I love that they can be purchased in large bags too so I do not have to worry about how much food I have left for months. Even though I only have one cat remaining, the food stays fresh right to the bottom of the bag (I buy 10kg bags) I also find these large bags great value for money and Mr squishy is happy so I'm happy 😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is not a picky eater so I wasn't surprised that she loved the Iams ProActive Health Original dry food. She ate it all up the first time I gave it to her without any hesitation, so I know it would be no problem transitioning her to this food. Actually, I wouldn't even need to "transition" her because she instantly liked it.
What I like best about the food is that the first ingredient is chicken. The second is chicken by-product meal, which I would prefer to be without, but overall as a dry food I think this is a great addition to her diet along with the once-daily wet food my cat receives.

Tore at the bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using this on my 9 year old cat who just recently lost her brother. She had become very depressed and showed lack of interest in everything including eating. Once I took the bag out and put it on the floor within minutes she began clawing at the package! Its only been about 2 weeks and I have absolutely noticed a difference in weight and with her coat. Her black coat seems smother and shinier then before. Her overall personality and changed with being on this food and I believe is helping her with her loss. I personally live the fact its not filled with junk and unnatural ingredients! Iams provided this test bag and I'm absolutely happy and convinced this food is benefiting my cat dramaticly!

NO More Picky Kitty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now, we all know how picky kittys can be. Mine is the worst. She turns her head to most everything, and finding something that she likes is close to impossible. Usually what I have to do is mix a little bit of chicken broth or canned food in with her dry food to even get her attention at all. When we started the transition to Iams it was clear that she might like this one. There was an obvious curiousity as soon as it hit her bowl. She sniffed and hesitated for only a short time before digging in. Now that the transition is complete, she loves it!!!! I dont thing I'll have to worry anymore. Its been about a week now and she still seems just as happy with it as she did the first time she tasted it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well Miss Nina seems to think these kitty kernels are "prrrrrrrfect!" She's also been insisting on me keeping her dish full! Lol. I'm surprised she's switched so quickly, we had a Friskies full-proof on hand, but received the bag from Iams on Monday afternoon, and tried it as soon as she 'mentioned' her bowl was needing some attention =] She promptly checked out the new menu and feasted slowly until 1/3 was gone! Purring all the while and telling us "thanks, this is definitely two paws up!!" Thanks Iams, we may have created a monster... Doubt she'll be so quick to switch back =\ lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a bag of Iams cat food from Iams. So far, my cat seems to love the taste. The transition from another flavor of Iams was very easy. Fuzzy gobbled the new food right up. I only gave a 4 star rating because I'm not sure how he will do without the furball control component that the other flavor had. He usually has a problem with hairballs so I'm curious to see if it will be an issue and I will post again further into the trial. I love the fact that Iams uses high quality ingredients that I can feel good about giving to my Fuzzy. He's the best, so he deserves the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat can be picky about her food. So the first day I only put a little in the bowl of the Iams Pro Active. She picked them out and ate them first so the next meal that is all I put in the bowl and she ate the whole bowl. So that is a great start to the switch. So now it has been over a week and that is all she is eating. She seems to enjoy it. I have notice that she is somewhat more play full lately. I have also noticed that he coat seems little more shiny. I'm going to keep on giving it to her so we will see how this works out, but for now it is great. And She is HAPPY

Cat Food I feel Good About

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat easily made the transition to Iams. It didn't take much mixing and she was happily eating it within a weeks time. She is happy, at a healthy weight, and has a shiny coat. We feel better feeding her this high quality, nutritious food and are glad we made the switch. My mother in law feeds two stray neighborhood cats and we shared some of the bag with her. One of the cats made the transition to Iams and the other will sometimes turn her nose up at it. She seems to be eating it more frequently but she is still mixing it with the original bag of food she was getting.

I was a little nrevous with some information i found, however i found the pros more influential. The only down fall i have with Iams is the price. I have 6 cats, so cost is something i am cocerned with. I did make the switch because i liked changes that i saw in my friends. I have noticed my cats are begging less for food, there is more action in my house and there coats are softer and shinier. They are more active and ready to face their day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats love their iams food, it has a pleasant smell and also it's very appetizing and the consistency of each piece is not very hard and the pieces has a very good size, I rescued a kitten from the street and she got comfortable, now she looks fatter and her hair is very shiny and that is because She's eating very well and I love that... it has chicken among its ingredients, I don't always buy food with seafood from them and I love giving them variety, but now they are very happy trying iams for the first time and I definitely recommend it, I will also buy it again.

I originally chose this specific type of Iams because it had whole chicken as the first ingredient. I tried this with my boys and they absolutely loved it. As soon as I put the food in their bowls, it's gone shortly after. They beg and beg for more, by the time morning comes, they are meowing for some! I have noticed that this product helped my youngest cat gain some weight. He's really starting to fill out and looks great. The only "negative", if that's what you want to call it is it has made their breaths smell. But I can't complain that much! They love their food!

My cats enjoy it. We tried a few grain free options when there was as shortage of Iams Digestive Care on the shelf but that didn't work very well .... the hairballs and throw up was too much. We even tried some hairball formulas from other brands and that didn't work very well (i.e. the cats were not too happy with the kibble).
So we decided to try the Iams Original with Chicken. It has been awhile since we used it....and it has settled their stomachs. They seem happier at meal time. They also get Iams in the can (pate' style) each day. We tried to go back to Digestive Care, but the kibble was a different shape and they didn't take to it like before. This formula they really like and they are doing great. Thanks Iams.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened the bag and it had a very strong smell, but once I put it in my cats dish, they went right for it. I love it is not made with lots of artificial colors. I always look at the ingredients and make sure chicken is the first ingredient, which it was. I also like that it doesn't have artificial coloring, where each piece is a different color. It is the right size for my cats, they seemed to adjust to it right away. I had a dish of this and one of their old food, either they were tired of the old or they really liked the new because the Iams is what they ate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched my cat's dry food to Iams last week when I received my bag from Iams & he actually was very receptive, which was a bit of a surprise since he tends to be on the finicky side. The dry morsels are just the right side for an adult cat & the smell is minimal which is an added plus. Iams pet food is well-known & I believe they use less filler & more quality ingredients which is what a pet owner should prefer to give their cat to contribute to the health & longevity of their precious feline/child. I will continue to use Iams regularly for my cat.

She could not wait to dig into her first bowl of Iams.
It felt good to be able to feed Alexis a healthy product that does not break the bank. The vet carries special food for her type of cat but it costs a fortune. Shhh Alexis doesn't like the taste of the vet food very much while we dislike the price.
She seemed to enjoy every piece of her dry food after I gave the Iams to her. Like I said, she's a picky eater, but there was only about three pieces of food left in her bowl that night.

I was surprised to received a large bag in of the cat food in the mail from Iams. I started feeding my cat of new food right away and he loved it. He is starting to get older and I worry about the health benefits he is receiving from his food but reading the label, it seems like a great solution to my concerns. My cat, Poi, can be a picky eater but he went right for it and always eats his whole bowl of food. I am definitely going to recommend the product to my fellow cat lovers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the IAMS original chicken-flavored dry food for adult cats. My family has three cats, and their regular diet consists of 1/2 can wet food daily, plus as much dry food as they need. I set out a large bowl of the IAMS every day for a week. Two of my cats would go for the dry food even after finishing their wet canned food. One cat would eat the IAMS, but not as enthusiastically. She is a picky girl though and I don't think she liked changing her diet to a different food. This is a good, balanced food for my cats and I would recommend it.

Well We got the Iams® ProActive Health™ Adult Original chicken formula from Iams to try and I was skeptical she jumped right in and started eating! She beggs us for more food every time her dish is empty!! I am so impressed that there is a cat food out there that my cat will actually eat with gusto and not leave it in her dish for days only for us to throw away!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got to test out the IAMS Proactive Health Chicken dry food (the big 22 lb. bag!), and my cat is obsessed. Seriously, she keeps begging for more! It's hard to see the health benefits immediately but I'm really hoping it's doing good things for her on the inside.
Looking at the ingredients, it comes with protein from chicken, which I know it's great for maintaining strong muscles. It also has fiber for healthy digestion, and things like L-carnitine that are supposed to help with a healthy metabolism. Plus, there are antioxidants for a strong immune system.
The 22 lb. bag is a pretty good value, especially since a little seems to go a long way with my cat's enthusiastic appetite! I'd tell anyone to try it, is a good option for cats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Iams Proactiv Health Adult Original with Chicken, I slowly worked it into my cats diets and they just couldn't get enough of it. I usually keep it stored in a storage closet by the front door and one evening, my cat pulled open the door and rip a huge hole in the bag and ate to her hearts content. I could not get over how excited my cats were for feeding time. I absolutely love the Iams brand and look forward to a long term relationship with them. I love that I am providing them with all the essential nutrients they need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the bad of Iams cat food and opened the box my cats went CRAZY! They were all over me meowing, and sniffing, and climbing up to see what the great smell was. After I opened the bag I let them sniff the contents inside and they were going insane. As soon as I filled their dishes up they devoured the food! I have never seen them eat so fast. The switch to Iams has made it's way to my home! We are all in love with Iams and the price is unbeatable, the way my cats go nuts over it shows me that this is what they want to be eating!
