Best cat food out there
I have a domestic short hair and a domestic long hair. With any other food they cough up hairballs at least once a week but while they've been on this food or the regular Iams hairball control they've had exactly zero hairballs. They've also been indoor cats their entire life and this food or the regular Iams weight control seem to do the best at keeping them at a healthy weight. They can have however much they want and it still keeps them healthy.
This food is the best of both worlds and I will never use another one unless I don't have a choice. I would recommend this to everyone.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have 6 cats, and was cleaning up multiple regurgitated hairballs daily! I was really getting sick of it too, not to mension how gross it is. Started using the Iams weight & hairball contol, and cannot even begin to tell you the huge difference it has made in our lives! I am no longer cleaning up hairballs on a daily basis. Very rarely if ever do I have to clean one up now. It makes a difference in the litter box waste too. I find that the smell is not quite as bad, and the cats never get the runs, like they did with other brands. I will admit, it is quite costly to feed this to a 6 cat household, but in the long run it is worth it, and they love the food! I can use all the coupons I can get!! Thanks!!

Reduces hairbals for my kitties
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my cats has a huge problem with hairball vomiting. Before this cat food he would vomit hairballs every other day. The cleaning up is not so bad because they are usually easy to pick up, but watching the poor guy have to go through that was painful.
Thankfully this cat food has reduced this to less than once a mnonth, We think he is a Maine coon (he was a rescue) and he has fur like a lion. So when he grooms himself (which as a cat he does a lot :P), without this food, he will vomit hairballs.
The best part though is that both my cats love it (we feed this to the other one as well who does not have any hairball issues).
So not only does it help with the hairballs, but they enjoy the taste of it.

Took some getting used to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four cats ages 4-15. They usually eat the Iams in the orange bag for adults. Yes, they are gaining weight so I thought I would give this a try.
The first thing I notices was that the size of the kibble was smaller than the usual Iams. I have very unusual cats, and the cats like the larger sized kibble. This kibble was the size and shape of a small pea.
Since the kibble was so small, one of my cats swallowed the pieces whole without chewing, which caused vomiting.
My cats eventually started eating the smaller kibble, however didn't eat as much.
I will probably switch back to the orange bag of Iams due to the preference of kibble. If the kibble becomes larger, I would definitely use this produce.

Cats Love It!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lams PROACTIVE HEALTH Adult Indoor Weight & Hairball Care Dry Cat Food with Chicken & Turkey makes my cats happy! They love it! Each piece of kibble is easy for them to chew and swallow. This cat food helps with hairballs and it's also made with real meat. Chicken is listed as the first ingredient. This food is good for their muscles, skin, coat, and heart. It doesn't have any fake dyes in it or cause my cats to have any type of stomach irritation. They love the flavor and they eat all of their food in their bowls at meal times. It also keeps them full in between meals.

Love IAMS for my Kitty!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always purchased Iams for my pets! Not only do I think it's best for their health, but it's not ridiculously overpriced! And my pets love it!
I currently use the Iams Original ProActive Health with Chicken and my cat loves it, has a shiny coat and lots of energy.
My cat does have a problem with hairballs, so I'm excited to try this new formula. It means I will not have to give him an additional supplement or deal with clean up.
He's an incredibly active guy, so I'm not sure how the weight management part of the formula will work or if he'll be hungry all the time.
Starting to blend it in with his Iams Original today and will gradually make the switch over. I will report back then but hoping for good results!

Looks and smells appetizing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looks and smells great for bagged cat food. The pieces are small and easy to chew for most cats. However, I did notice an increase in vomiting with three out of the seven cats we have, even while transitioning from their regular cat food. The vomiting got worse once they were fully switched over so we made the decision to switch them back to their regular cat food. I really wanted to like this. The packaging is wonderful and it smelled appetizing even to us humans. But because of the vomiting, we have collectively decided it is not the best food for our fur children

Happy Cat with Iams Adlult food
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an indoor cat who can be picky so I thought I'll try the food and see how it works out. So I just went for it and put the Iams Adult food in he bowl and she ate it. WOW and came over begging for more... WOW. She likes it and is happy so we kept on feeding it to her and she his happy with the Iams. So the big test will be to see if she throws it up and no she didn't another big plus...The next test would be to see if she has less fur balls. So far so good and she seems to be happy and I haven't had to clean up any throw up. I hope this works. I'll keep you posted.

To be honest, i didn't think the dry food I'd end up with would be Iams. I have two cats currently on dry food: one that needs to lose weight, and another that has an extremely sensitive digestive system (and yes, my vet and I have had her try all sorts of foods, including limited ingredient). So far it's helping the big boy lose weight, and my sensitive girl hasn't had any vomiting or diarrhea issues. I only wish that the ingredients were a little better, and I wouldn't mind paying more for it, but honesty I'm grateful to have something that finally works for my girl.

My cats cant get enough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two cats, one of which loves his treats, and the other who likes to leave little hairy presents around the house. The first cat has put on some weight this past year, so I was excited when I received my free bag of Iams ProActive Health Adult Indoor Weight and Hairball Control. Even though it hss only been about a month, we have already noticed he has slimmed down a bit, and has a bit more spring in his step. Also, he love the taste so much that now instead of begging for treats every morning, he is happy to have his bowl filled with his new favorite food. We have also noticed a decline in the amount of hairballs left around the house, so either the food is working, or our cat is getting better at hiding them.

We have used Iams for all of our cats. We have had 4 over the years and it has been our choice all along. The cats love it. They are not overweight. We used the hairball control and they tolerate it well. If we try other brands the cats have had problems with not eating and hairballs. Our cats have live long and healthy lives with soft coats and minimal hair loss even with the change of seasons. They have all been indoor cats. Thank you for taking care of our family pets. They have been real friends to us and it is good to know that we can provide for them so well.

My Extremely Picky Eater Sophi
My adored cat Sophi is an extremely picky eater. I bought Rachel Ray's brand Nutrish earlier and she took one sniff and never ate a bite. She is not thrilled about this one either. I love my cat so much and do not want to see her become extremely over weight and unhealthy like my last one so I am going to do what IAMS recommends by mixing some of the food she likes with this one until slowly she is eating only this one. I believe in the quality of IAMS's products so her not liking it right now is a non issue. I don't particularly like diet food either .
Yes, I recommend this product.

Cats Love This Food
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats are very picky about their food. I have tried them on several different brands of food, and have only found one that they will eat until I received the Iams indoor cat formula. I love that I know I am giving my cats all the essential nutrients they need, and still maintaining their weight. My one cat, who is actually very overweight, has lost a few pounds and is looking healthier every week. I have also found that it is helping prevent hairballs and urinary tract infections. I am very happy with this brand and will be switching from here on out.

My cats love this and needed this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Iams Proactive Health Weight and Hairball Care cat food for free through Influenster but the opinions here are based on our own experiences. My cats love this food. They've eaten it quickly and seem to not have any complaints. I love that it's nutrients and ingredients promote good weight and hairball control, which can be a problem for them. The food itself is good sized and doesn't have a strong scent but seems to taste good to the cats. It is nutritional and beneficial for them which I love. Will definitely buy again and highly recommend.

why did they their recipe so much?
Oh my gosh ! for years I have given my cats indoor weight hairball. first they changed the size of the kibble. My newest cats didn't seem to care but my newest old adoptee is having problems eating it .But the worse thing is NOW they changed the formula! They didn't even let anyone know like putting a banner on the bags like most do or change the bag ,they just add the word turkey under chicken at the bottom of the bag.
well after my cats vomited everywhere and months later them finally getting adjusted to the new formula they just pick at it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Something seems different....
My cats have been eating this food religiously for at least six years, but for the last few months they just don't seem to be as enthusiastic about it. They're still eating it, albeit reluctantly, so I bought a few more bags to see if it was a fluke, but they haven't cared for it at all. This week, they will barely touch it. What's changed? Pellet size, yes, but that was at the beginning of the year. Maybe I got a bad batch? But I have five cats and every one of them is barely eating. Will try a different flavor and see if that makes a difference.
No, I do not recommend this product.

great choice and even better price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first rescued our cat we changed foods for her and it was a super awful transition that took many months. We were truly uninformed on cat food being only dog owners our whole lives and took the suggestion (the most expensive choice, of course) from the pet store employee on what to use. We received this bag of Iams to try out we were really worried that our girl wouldn't want anything to do with it. And I have to honestly say that the transition was seamless and honestly one of the only differences we can tell is how much money we are saving by switching. We made our vet aware and she confirmed that the only difference between the "gourmet pet food" and the Iams was the price tag. I can confidently say we are Iams pet food people now.

My 4 cats love it!
My 4 cats 3 of which are brothers all 8 months old, and one brother that currently turned 4. The 4 year old cat had weight problems, with his love for temptations treats.. I stopped feeding him them and switched all cats on the indoor IAMS proactive health food. I must say, my old cat went back to his normal healthy weight, and his coat shines like never before. Moreover, all cats love the food, i sometimes mix it with wet food. I highly recommend this for indoor cat owner's who want their cat to maintain a healthy weight/prevent hair balls.

Pleasantly Surprised all around
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats are FAT! They have been on every diet food out there primarily hills science diet light. They hate everything. They will protest by not eating for a whole day because they know I'll cave and get them something else. No matter how tough I try to be, I can't stand for them not to eat. This Iams food from bzzagent blew my mind. They attacked it. But the cool thing was they were full. they ate less of it on their own than they ever had before. I am a HUGE fan of anything weight conscious that can keep my babies satisfied. Thank you Iams!

better smelling poo?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat just turned a year and fell in love with a certain "store brand" cat food. We did NOT enjoy the scent from the litter box.......awful. Switched to this better quality food when we received it from my BZZagent within 2 days the stench from the litter box is gone. Cleaning it daily wasn't even helping with the horrible smell. I didn't even want company over. This cat food is a God send. Took him a bit at first to try it but now he enjoys it. Does not eat as much because I believe a better food is absorbed better and satisfies him more.

He Loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an “Iams” cat so when I was offered this free sample of the Iams ProActive Health Indoor Health and Hairball Care I knew it would be a hit. He can’t get enough! I’ve tried many other brands and he is a typical finicky cat but with Iams he begs for more. The first time I feed him this food he went nuts, eating the entire amount in one sittings. I used to feed my cat all different brands of cat food but when he threw up a hairball it would just stain the carpets. With Iams it doesn't stain and there has been actually far fewer hairballs since I switched to this Hairball Care food. His coat is shiny and soft and he just seems more happier now. I would defiantly recommend this product to all with cats that have weight and/or hairball issues.

Iams offers a healthy choice to care for all your
2 months ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compliments of Influenster! Our Nala is a fan of tasty meals and Iams Proactive Health is tummy pleasing! She nibbles all day and seems to really enjoy the flavor of this.
Indoor Hairball care with Chicken and turkey helps keep her healthy and active. Judging from her playful nature, she’s really loving the special food and the natural ingredients.
Iams is known for producing quality foods and I trust that our fury friend is as important to them as she is to us 💕
Available in different sized bags so give it a try, if you haven’t yet!

I"m a lover of IAMS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently was given the opportuniy to try IAMS. My cat is very finicky and grows tired of different brands. I put alittle in Tinkerbells bowl and she purred the whole time she ate it!! She came over to me and brushed repeatedly around me. This is her way of saying I want more. I was surprsied and very happy because it is hard to get her to eat dry food. The kernels are small amd easy to eat and absorb. The package says alot of protein is inside so that is really a plus for cats. I have noticed that she has had no hairballs in the last two weeks so I am very happy about this product. I know Iams is a wonderful brand and my vet has good things to say also. I really like the design of the package and will recommend this product to fellow cat owners!!

My picky cat approves!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat Missie is very picky when it comes to food. She chose one type of food from the very beginning, and no matter what other brands I bought for her afterward, she didn’t like any of them. However, she showed interest in this food right away—she approached it several times before finally eating the whole portion.
Since I want my cat to have a healthy and balanced diet, I choose only the best for her. IAMS Proactive Health food contains L-Carnitine, which helps maintain a healthy weight and metabolism. It also includes natural chicken, providing essential protein for strong muscles. Another important factor is the Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio, which is crucial not only for pets but also for humans.
Overall, both my cat and I are happy with this food!

Good for preventing kitty hairballs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Iams proactive health and hairball formula is a good cat food for adult cats. My particular cats like this food but still prefer what they had been eating. However i like that this addresses hairball problems which they occasionally have. This food comes well packaged and you get a lot of product for what you will spend. It seems to have a good texture that the kitties like also. I would recommend this catfood. But I would try a small bag first to make sure that your cats will eat it. Mine did but as we know. Cats can be finicky!

My cat loves this food. He is very picky about what he eats so I tried several different foods until I found this one he likes. When we first got him the family before us was feeding their cats the cheapest food possible and I didn't want him to be eating that food.. well it took me almost a year to find the brand he likes without upsetting his stomach with all the switches... We had him on a different flavor but he started getting a little chunky so he switched to this and it has definitely helped keep him at a healthier weight.

My Cat Likes It, But...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, off the bat, I should say that my cat seems to enjoy the Iams® ProActive Health™ cat food. She eats as much of it as she ate her former cat food brand, so I can't complain. However, she doesn't really seem to *love* it, either. I haven't noticed anything different in how excited she is to eat in the morning, and I haven't noticed any changes in her weight or overall health. We've only just started using the product, though, so we'll see if her weight improves. Overall I'm satisfied with Iams, but not completely sold on it.

My kitties love this food!
I have tried for several years to find a food that would help my younger cat with her digestive issues, then I stumbled upon this formula of Iams and have been using it for 2 years. They both love the taste and definitely have fewer hairball problems. My younger of the two cats has always had issues with soft bowel movements and this food has made a night and day difference. The extra fiber has certainly made a huge difference that she is happier about and so am I. Keep up the great work and we just wanted to say thank you!

I have indoors cats that don’t get much outside time or activity so this helps wonders in maintaining a healthy weight! With the other iams formula my Isabella was getting chunky. Since I started this recipe I see her getting a bit leaner. Also I do believe the cats foods have different flavors and they have preferences and iams has to be a higher quality or better flavor because since giving my cat this she refuses to eat any other brands. I am happy with iams, it’s keeps Isabella’s long white coat soft, clean and fluffy!

Cat enjoying this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a finicky indoor cat that also has a sensitive stomach at times. He doesn’t really like wet cat food, which is mind boggling, but loves crunchy dry food. I am mindful when I give him a new food to transition him slowly by mixing in some of the new over the course of a week or two. My cat seemed to enjoy this new food— I could tell since he didn’t pick out and discard the new dry pieces. I like that this food comes in a big bag, the smaller ones are less economical and require more frequent shopping trips. The size of the pieces was just right for my cat too, as he is smaller, and didn’t have any issues eating this. I like that this food is both weight control and hairball control as he is longhaired and hairballs are inevitable no matter how much brushing.
