Great performance 18 mos then it began to have iss
2 years ago
I bought this 2.5 years ago. Ran extremely well for the first 18 months or so. Then didn't like to run a full speed. Replaced fuel filter, air filter and spark plug. Ran better but still had issues. I Only use 90 octane no-ethanol gas with Husqvarna oil. Removed muffler screen and event he muffler to see if it was exhaust based. No avail. Then it started to run better after i put it back together. A few months later same issue. Replaced fuel lines primer bulb and carb. No good starts but won't run at high speed. Adjusted the carb never buy another. I had stihl products for many years but never had problems this soon in products life

Great performance for the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a corded electric leaf blower that just didn't have enough power or reach that a gas blower can provide. I worked mowing lawns one summer and fell in love with the back pack style blowers, but they are just too expensive to justify for a small home property. So I settled on this handheld, gas powered blower for the additional power, further reach without extension cables, and it has surpassed my expectations. Also, in five years time, I won't be needing to buy a new battery pack since we all know how cell phone batteries die off after a couple of years. And let's face it, you can't go wrong with a Husqvarna product.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Blower great, vac clogs easily
Blower is second to none. Tons of power and much quieter too. The vac works good, but clogs continually. The chute is way too big for the internal passage size. About every two minutes I need to take off the catch bag and reach in to unclog the vac. Just really annoying.Maybe a better grinder blade would work better to make pieces smaller. Also the large chute is difficult to assemble because the trap door latches really hard and the spring is way too strong. It has to be pried open with a large screwdriver and if you let the door slip, It latches hard again and go get the screwdriver again. Bottom line, probably still better than any other brand.

Is it enough?
I have used handheld blowers before, mostly with disappointing results, and then I graduated to backpack blowers and never really looked back for the last 20 years. When it came time for a new blower to use around the house, the price of the 125B, coupled with the air speed and volume of air it moves, caught my eye. I decided to try it even though I wondered aloud if it would be enough for me. Well, it is! The 125B starts easily, idles smoothly, and blows away my dust, dirt, grass clippings, hedge clippings and anything else that lands where it shouldn't. I do not miss the heavy backpack and recommend this model for any person.

Carburetor Issues; Out of Box Failure
I bought this unit back in the Spring of 2019. For three months the unit never ran right. I had to put the chock in the 1/2 position to make the unit run without quitting when the chock was in the off position. Finally got it serviced by an authorized dealer. The carburetor had to be replaced due to a defective Out of Box (OOB) manufacture issue. I'm thankful it was replaced under warranty. Later I did more reviews of this unit sold at Lowe's and found many more similar complaints. Why is there such an issue with this particular model's carburetor? I rated a poor performance initially. The new carburetor will not given any issues and hopefully it continues for years.

This one does not run out of the box!
This is my third 125BXV. The first ran very well for about 9 months, then failed. It was replaced under warranty. In the interim I bought a new one. out of the box it would no run well. It stalled and and was very hard to restart. It then started running only at high speed. It is in for service after only running (very poorly) for maybe 1/2hr. I have not unboxed the 3rd (warranty replacement) one yet but I hope 3 times a charm. Not typical of Husqvarna. I will say, when this model it runs correctly, it is a very good leaf and trimming vacuum/mulcher. I have had several other brands and they don’t vac/mulch as well.

I own multiple Husqvarna lawn care products
5 years ago
All the Husqvarna models I own are either MADE IN USA or ASSEMBLED IN USA. This is very important to me. That being said I have not used it yet, I let my 15yr old son & his friend break it in. My son has used some of my equipment but hit friend has not. I have a lot of leaves the first round they filled up 10 lawn bags, 2nd round 7 bags. We still have one more to go. They started the blower multiple times with no issues(only problem they put & left the choke on a few times, I corrected them & it was fine). I use the pre mixed Husqvarna fuel in all of my 2 strokes & also use stabilizer & haven’t had any issues. Thanks for making products in THE USA & for also making them high quality!

Versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower has been great to use for my residence, my landscape business, and for blowing off debris on our farm equipment. For the vacuum I wouldn't recommend it for picking up a large piles of leaves as the bag fills up quickly, but overall it woeks great and chops up the leaves to use as a compost. The only thing I don't like about it is when starting it. It takes a few pulls (which is okay), but always seems to have to put it in choke, then to half choke even after it was ran within 5-10 minutes after shutting off. Overall it's still worth it once it's running as it provides good power.
