HOFT – THE REINVENTED WOOD FENCE
Hoft products offer an attractive, original alternative to traditional treated wood fences. Hoft fence post and railing kits and privacy screens are easy to install and allow you to adjust the height of your panels. Use Hoft structures to mark out your property, protect your patio from prying eyes, or simply conceal your heat pump.
How hoft works
Hoft post structures are designed to accommodate treated wood or composite boards in the finish of your choice (sold separately). Put your plan to paper, determine the type and number of posts you’ll need, and you're in business!
Fences suited to your needs
Hoft kits come in three lengths, which means you can combine different wall heights in a single project. You can choose 44 inches, 72 inches (6 feet) or 96 inches (8 feet) posts.
Each kit comes with the necessary hardware, which includes 1 anchor plate, 1 post cap, 2 rail spacers, 24 ½-inch spacers, 2 hex keys and an installation guide.
Hoft structures are designed for 5/4 wood boards or 1-inch composite boards.

Plan your project
1. Measure all sides of the area you wish to fence.
2. Choose where you will install your posts (maximum distance of 6 feet between each post is recommended).
3. Determine the height of your posts. You can combine different post heights to suit your needs.
4. Determine how many posts you will need for your project.
5. Choose the type of boards you want to insert into your posts.
6. Apply a protective product to your boards before installing them, depending on the type of board you choose.
7. Anchor your posts to a wood or composite patio (with 3/8-inch wood anchor screws) on a concrete slab (with 3/8-inch concrete anchor screws) or directly into the ground (you will need to pour a concrete base and use 3/8-inch concrete anchor screws).
8. Install your boards following the installation guide.
