GROUPE BMR IS A FINALIST FOR THE LOWE'S PRODUCTIVITY INCREASE MERCURE AWARD
Boucherville, March 17, 2017 – Groupe BMR is proud to announce its nomination to the 2017 Mercuriades for the Lowe’s productivity increase Mercure award.
Created in 1979, the Mercuriades are a prestigious contest celebrating innovation, ambition, entrepreneurship and performance of Québec companies. Since the contest’s creation, 5,000 companies were made finalists and 600 of them won a Mercure award.

The Mercure award for productivity increase celebrates an innovative strategy that has allowed a company to improve its productivity, including operational efficiency. This nomination recognizes the outstanding work that was accomplished by Sylvie Tardif, Vice-President of Operations and Logistics, and her team to restructure our operations. “When La Coop fédérée bought Groupe BMR in 2015, the number of dealers served by our warehouses doubled. We had to adapt quickly and optimize our operations to provide a high-quality service to all our dealers,” said Ms. Tardif.
Members of our warehouses’ management team received the finalist trophy at Place Ville-Marie on March 16, 2017. The winners will be announced during the 37th edition of the Les Mercuriades gala that will be held at the Palais des congrès on April 24, 2017.
