12” snow shovel 80v

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) No trouble with heavy wet snow, this shovel took care of it. It throw the snow at a decent distance. I just recently bought it and noticed that sometime it seem like it is loosing power and then the power come right back up, this occurred even when not shoveling snow by just running the shovel. I switch the battery, fully charge, and the problem did not go away. It is intermittent. If this persist I will contact greework to have an understanding of why this is occurring.
When approximately 3 to 4 inches of wet snow felt, it took 2 fully charge battery to clear an approx 6 car driveway. Not bad.
Overall I am happy with this purchased

Snow Shovel W/2.0Ah battery

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is very powerful, battery last long enough, it is in the heavy side if you want to use it like a real shovel, but it is fine if you let it sit on the ground. If you want to use it like a shovel you must relocate the handle further down to be more balanced. But you must find your self a way to fix that handle so it wont turn around the shaft while you are manipulating it. They should have tough of a better way for fix that handle to the shaft, it is very flimsy. I have found a way for the handle for not to move around, see pictures. I have giving 4 stars because of that flimsy handle.

Pretty Good!

The first test of this little snowblower was a 24" snowfall, way over the design capacity. It worked great. It throws the snow a good 30 ft if it's powdery. I had to use it as a "shovel" and take small bites until i got down to ground level. Doing this will wear you out because of the weight of the unit. The only downside is the battery needs to be warm at all times or it cuts out frequently. I keep the battery inside and if I need to take it somewhere else I keep the battery inside the warm car or truck. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

This has saved my life this year!
Our kids bought this for me and my husband this Christmas. My husband is too sick to use our full size snow blower and I have never learned to use it. Arranging for plowing got away from me this year and this shovel has saved my life. I am old, fat, and out of shape and can handle this fairly easily. I have no choice but to keep our driveway clear so a my husband can get to his appointments no matter what the weather is like. This has been a very difficult year for me, but this shovel has helped keep us safe.
ProsConvenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

Handles deep snow
Was skeptical of this little blower. I have a 1,000 square foot deck that is only accessible by 35 steps. I was using a gas powered 2 stage blower (120 lbs) and lugging it up and down the stairs. Being mostly plastic, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was wrong. I took on 3+ feet of Sierra Snow and it held its own. I did a “layer” (12” down from the top) at a time and was shocked at how quickly the deck was cleared.
It is heavier than a shovel, not an issue if snow is less than 10-12” as it can just slide of the surface being cleared. Deeper snow requires lifting (essentially same as a big transfer shovel). Tried it on the berm from the plows and it just chopped right through. Defiantly recommend a 2nd battery for large areas. Keep an eye out where it’s blowing, as it reliably throws 20-30 feet with no issue.

Surprisingly powerful!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Great build quality. Very impressed by how far it can throw snow. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is for two reasons. There is no adjustment on the head to shoot snow downward or upward....just something manual would be nice. Also it's quite heavy after a few minutes using it.....if they offered a harness as an accessory, it would be a great addition and help on the lower back.

Hello Budden.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are glad to read that overall, you have been enjoying this Snow Shovel. Unlike a snow blower, most electric snow shovels do not have a dedicated chute to adjust the throw direction, so you'll need to manipulate the shovel's angle to guide the snow. To direct the angle at which an electric snow shovel throws snow, slightly tilt the shovel itself in the desired direction while operating it; by angling the shovel slightly left or right, you can control where the snow is ejected. A small tilt is usually enough to redirect the snow slightly to the side you want. We hope this tip helps and provides a better user experience. Great Shovel
3 years ago
I purchased this 60 volt shovel as I already have other tools with this voltage. I put it to use on our first 6” snow fall in Ohio. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to push as well clearing the snow. It shoots out about 20 feet and does not add more snow in front of you. As a senior citizen, it saves time with less effort. Well worth the investment.

BLOW SNO FROM STEPS, RAMPS AND WALKS.
We are required to blow a path for the mailman. Just try to blow steps with full sized blowers. It's heavy enough to stay on the ground and 80V gives power to move even old snow. We have quite a few 80V tools and are quite impressed. It blows straight ahead so with a bit of angling the snow goes where you want. It is surprisingly powerful and quiet.
