Worth the price!
I've had the 18" chainsaw for a few years now, and am very happy with it. The only drawback was the 2 Ah battery. I've taken down several trees and usually have to stop several times to recharge. It hasn't been too inconvenient, because I used the recharge breaks to pick up and clean up. WOW, what a difference. Took down a single tree this fall and made it through the whole tree without a recharge. Luckily I had my son to help me keep up! The only drawback is the added weight, but I consider it a small price to pay for the extended work time. Wish I had bought the extra battery years ago!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor Battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the lawnmower last summer and it came with 2 batteries, one is a 4.0 Ah, 288 WH and the other is a 2 Ah 144 WH. There is no explanation on where there are 2 different batteries in the owners manual. I have charged the batteries about 6 times. The 2 Ah is still charging fine. But, after the first cut this season, the 4.0 Ah battery will not charge and I get the flashing red light. I followed the trouble shooting guidelines but still red blinking light. I lawnmower cuts well and would be ideal if the batteries worked well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Greenworks
Hello Patrick63,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this product. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations.
This charger will not ignite any lights until the battery is engaged. Once the battery has been properly seated, the light should communicate with the battery and ignite. Here are what each color light means!
Flashing Green = Battery charging
Solid Green = Battery is fully charged
Flashing Red = Charging fault
Solid Red = Battery is either too hot or too cold
When the battery is inserted into the charger and the status LED blinks red, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, remove the battery and unplug the charger for 1 minute. After 1 minute, plug in the charger and reinsert the battery. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, then this likely indicates an issue with the battery or charger.
If the issue persists, please contact us directly through chatbot on www.greenworkstools.com that will direct you to a live agent or call us on Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. Our team would be happy to investigate this with you further.

Batteries don't seem to last long!
Jumped in to the electric mower, blower, weed eater game after a lifetime of gas powered. I like the equipment, it functions just fine, but after 1 year I have had two battery failures. Greenworks replaced the first battery without any hassle, still waiting on a replacement for second failure. I always store the batteries at half charge, but it hasn't seem to make any difference. I believe the circuit boards are the problem, I have tested the cells and they all seem to have the correct voltage per cell.

Greenworks
Dear TallGrassBlues,
We appreciate you letting us know and we apologize for your experience. We are happy to hear Greenworks Success Team, were able to support you with this warranty claim in a timely manner. Greenworks is committed to making sure customers are 100% satisfied with the quality and durability of each purchase. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this battery. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life.

Love it!
I bought an additional battery for my snow blower, since last season. I would forget to recharge after use. I have a double wide driveway, a patio area and two side walks. One fully charged battery will last long enough to remove the snow from all. I love the power lights on the battery to let me know how much charge I have left.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Blower, trimmer and hedge trimmer 80v 5 & 6 yrs
a year ago
All three .
Operating five and six years including two batteries and charge no issues at all. Both 80v batteries charged on one charger sitting on shelf plugged into protected plug on inside wall of insulated garage all walls and ceiling. Own a 43 year old Honda mower considering 25” pro mower if I can use these batteries.
Got these for my snowblower, mower and grass trimmer. Great charge and long lasting, can cut our front and back and do the trimmer on one charge and would say we have a good size lot. Quick charge and lights are great for showing battery life. Highly recommend. As a women it’s easy to use and lightweight.
Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this battery a month ago and I’m so happy with it. I can now mow my one and a half acres with this replacement battery and the one that came with my lawnmower are used to have to stop Halfway through and recharge. It works great! I don’t know how I lived without it!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Happy with added run time
Fairly new battery, but happy with the added run time so far. Large, heavy and protrudes slightly from snow blower housing exposing the battery to the elements. Housing could use an upgrade till battery technology improves.
