I have had my mower for a few years and have had three batteries fail in that time. It does not seem to be an issue with the batteries

The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive most of the battery life. Please note this product has a 4-year warranty; batteries carry a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. 1 fully charge can't even make my lawm mower go through 1000 square feet of ordinary grass at my home. I need 2 of them. Unacceptable.

To extend your run time, try using the blower setting on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement, as blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with Greenworks 80v batteries; please note, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. Model GBL80300 has three speed settings Speed 1: (low) 68 MPH/275 CFM Speed 2: (medium) 99 MPH/397 CFM Speed 3: (high) 125 MPH/500 CFM The average runtime when using this tool on lowest setting with the trigger locked in; is up to 60-70 minutes. On medium setting up to 30 minutes. On high setting up to 13-15 minutes. The age of when you received the battery should not greatly impact the life cycle of the battery. It will degrade with use over time like any other battery.
