Holds a charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trust energizer batteries, they have been my battery of choice for years. Now that i'm getting older I am more environmentally conscious, and aware of the cost of things. I love that these batteries are rechargeable and hold a charge for a long time! They were fully charged in a couple of hours, and powered my daughters animotronic dinosaur as long as conventional batteries have in the past. The bonus is, that these can be reused, so it saves money in the long run. Great, and trust product!

Pre Charged and Long Lasting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with these rechargeable AA batteries by Energizer. They come Pre charged and a set of two in my Xbox controller have lasted almost a week. That is really good because I use my Xbox everyday and play for hours at a time. I like the fact that they are partially made from recycled batteries. As the package states, these should last me 5 years under normal use. Other rechargeable batteries I have bought have only lasted around 8 months. I am excited to see if they hold up for years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We go through a lot of batteries in our house, which can get very expensive fast. So we started buying rechargeable batteries to see if they'd be a better value over the long run. I feel that they are. I got these Energizer AA rechargeable batteries. It came as a 2 pack, which is good to try out. Upon opening, they were not charged. So I put them in the charger then put them in a remote control after they were fully charged. They are holding their charge nicely and seem to be outperforming some of our other brands of batteries. This is a very good thing since we have s many devices that require batteries. Since these Energizers are working so well, we are going to buy some more and in different sizes. So you could say that we are happy with these batteries and their performance has been great!

saving the environment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used quite a bit of batteries for remotes, wireless keyboard & mouse, flashlights, and a variety of other small battery powered item, but felt terrible that I had used them up and now what happens to them. I recycle, but that still adds more stuff to recycling that may never get used again. I love that I can recharge the batteries and use them again and again end not have to add them to recycling. I purchased the recharger and use it all the time to maintain my batteries life and reuse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly can't imagine there being a time in the future where batteries are not required which is why I am grateful they are improving. The best pro is obvious..they're rechargeable! They have average battery life. I think it depends on what your using them for. A roku remote with earbuds plugged in will drain them much faster than say my infant's activity toy because it's not used that often. Overall, because of the ability to recharge, they are valued more than regular batteries.

I love products that leave a low carbon footprint on the environment so I'm so excited that these batteries recharge. I also like the fact that they are made with 4% recycled batteries. They always get the job done and I love how I can use them over and over again.These are my go-to batteries for my Xbox controller, TV remote, and anything high use. They also charge up fairly quick which is a huge plus.

I have a high intensity flashlight that I keep in my car in case of emergency, and I've used it several times over the last 10 years. The problem is that it eats C alkaline batteries; I have to replace them 2-3 times a year. I've had these about three weeks and my charger shows that they are down about 2%, which is good (I've used the flashlight 3 times, about 10 minutes per). I don't know how long they will last, but if it's only a year I've saved money.

When I received them, I placed them in my Kitchen clock that is our main clock. Up to this point I have not experienced any negative effects. Time will tell once I have to recharge these batteries, so I can’t comment on the effectiveness of their recharge value. However, at this point in time, these batteries seem to hold their charge and work wonderfully in the device I place them.

I initially bought these when I had to use them for my sons baby toys. He is 9 now. We repeatedly used them and charge then for a good 2 years. Of course at first they would last for weeks and charge very quickly. The last few months they would take lo get to charge and eventually stopped charging. One of them.even developed a type.of rust on the ends. It was absolutely worth it. I don't believe we use enough electronics that require these batteries anymore to buy again.

Don’t last as long as they claim

While I love being able to save on money by using rechargeable batteries I must admit I was a little disappointed by the longevity of these ones by energizer. On the packaging they claim to last 5 years, however, I only managed to get 2 years out of mine. I had 2 brand new ones sitting in my closet and when I recently went to use them they would t charge at all. Totally dead. A real bummer. So while they work great they don’t last the promised 5 years in my experience.

This battery seems to be lasting a lot longer than other rechargeable batteries I have used in my smoke detector. I love that the battery can be charged hundreds of times. I will never have to buy a battery for my smoke detector again. Energizer is a great brand and they did not disappoint with this battery. It’s well made and works great!

These Energizer Recharge Universal D Batteries, 2 Pack are exactly what I needed! I am able just simply pop them out and recharge them instead of having to replace them. Definitely saves money in the long run and the Energizer brand is top quality so this was a smart move to invest in replacing the 9V batteries in our carbon monoxide detectors. I love that these batteries seem to charge faster then the other rechargeable batteries I have used. I used them in my remote and was able to use them right out of the package for 3 weeks before they needed changed. I put them in my charger for a couple of hours and they was charged back up! First of all I loved that the packaging was easy to get in to. I know that may sound like something that is not important but as someone who struggles with sore hands I have had struggles with some other brands in the past having hard plastic packaging that I have struggled to get into. I have been using these batteries for quite some time now and have found that they have a very long life and I have also found that they are very easy to recharge and can be used time and time again. With the way these function I am confident I will be able to use this one set for quite some time. Energizer is the brand I trust the most for all of my batteries and I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great rechargeable battery.

My son has a toy that uses up batteries so quick, now I just keep these batteries charged and handy to replace when needed. I have two sets and I just keep them charged and ready. If I plug them in overnight they're good to go in the morning. They last much longer than regular batteries too. Definitely worth the money!

I was having to buy new ones every 2 weeks and it was getting expensive. On a full charge the rechargeable batteries are lasting about 3 weeks, the fountains run about 3 hours each day. I can charge them at night and I'm good to go the next day. It is saving my lots of money, and they will last for years. I wish i had bought them along time ago.

I’ve used these on Xbox controllers and plenty of other electronic products. They’re pretty amazing! Recharge pack comes separately but.. all you do is put dead batteries in the recharge packs holders and then plug the battery pack into the wall. Then your batteries are just like new. Eventually I recommend buying a new pack of batteries because as time goes by they lose some life and longevity. Overall they work great and are very good quality.

Pros:It saves a lot of money from always buying batteries.Once charged it lasts a long time.It can be charged at least a 100 times.Good for anything that takes a 9V. Cons: It takes 6 to 7 hrs to recharge so you need to have one to take it's place so no worries!

I love that these are rechargeable, as D batteries can get costly! I own a battery charger made by Energizer and these fit perfectly and charge easily. I have only recharged them once so far, but the packaging states that it can be recharged 100s of times. Overall, I would highly recommend these to save some money over time.

True Long lasting Rechargeable batteries

the Energizer Recharge Universal Rechargeable Batteries works great. I got these batteries for the Light which I use every night when I go out for a run or walk. I feel that the batteries are not that heavy if I compare them to regular non-rechargeable batteries. Now I don't have to change new batteries every week in my torch that saves me lots of $$.
