Les premiers essais sur tôle d'aluminium .024 et .020 se sont mieux passés que prévu. Maniabilité étonnante. L'ajustement est facile pour avoir un bon angle d'attaque . Ensuite permet une coupe droite (strait) franche, coupe courbes de rayon plus petit que je pouvais croire avant de l'essayer. Maintenant le test sur chantier. Si c'est aussi durable que les autres outils deWalt que j'utilise [ tout mes outils à batterie sont des deWalt, et je ne suis pas doux pantoute avec ] il ne devrait pas avoir de problème avec la durabilité. Have owned these shears for several months and am pleasantly surprised at how useful they have been. I use them to cut stainless 18ga sheets and they plow through those like nothing. They fit my DeWalt driver and Milwaukee drill with no issues. Have used them successfully on vinyl siding, metal roofing, and asphalt shingles. Build quality is excellent and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I bought this for and have used it for everything. from opening those nightmare clamshell packages, for re-screening, cutting carpeting, wire mesh, vinyl fence weave, steel framing, aluminum work, and really so much more. I found with this great alternative to a dedicated 18G tool. Although it doesn’t replace by any means it does what I need it to and being it’s an accessory(not nearly as expensive as a shearing tool) I’m not as serious about what I use it to cut within reason of course. It has earned a permanent place in my bag. The one weak point is the slop or movement in the connecting arm to the bottom of whatever impact/drill being used. I actually wound up adding a small spring from a pen or something. When I started writing this I was going to Give this shearing attachment 4stars Because of the wobbly arm. But the quality and versatility otherwise is great and this thing has been so useful to me I had to give the 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had two large jobs to do needing shears. One was installing FRP walls in a dog wash room for Canine Companions. What a time saver ! No more trying to make straight cuts with a razor knife or melting the edges using any power tool with a blade. Absolutley cut my time in half making me more money. LOVE THIS ATTACHMENT !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to help me cut steel roofing panels that I installed on my home. It works great on flat pieces, like the trim, but it does have trouble getting over the ribs in the panels. I would up using aviation snips for the ribs of the panels, but the shear attachment to cut panels length-wse and to cut my trim pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to "rabbit " proof under my back yard deck ... I used 1/2" grid hardware cloth attached to wooden lattice..... I needed to cut long runs of 18 gauge material..... This tool attached to my DeWalt impact driver make the task very easy and safe ... Cutting 12 to 15" by 10 to 15 ft lenghts of the hardware cloth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My coworker has the Malco shears and they work pretty good. Then I bought these shears one day and was amazed how much better they worked. Quick to attach onto drill/impact. Been dropped and abused cutting everything that fits into it. Hasn’t let me done yet. Been using it for over a year everyday use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for a good 2 years now. It works great on flat metal and mesh but I can’t figure out how to handle the large ribs on corrugated metal. Small ribs, no problem. I’m sure there is a trick for larger ribs but I just keep some snips on me. There is a bit of a learning curve with this one.
