Reciprocating saw blade set with case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking around for a variety pack of reciprocating saw blades and found these. The price was reasonable, the variety was good, and thcarrying case is excellent. I've used the metal blades to cut through steel drums and just about anything thing else where sparks could be dangerous. The metal blades last a whole lot longe than I expected too, if you just use some WD-40 while cutting to keep them cool it'll go much smoother. The wood blades work fine, I've used them around my yard for pruning or cutting up fire wood. You really can't go wrong with these blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bleed black and yellow, so, writing a bad review is very difficult for me. I bought this kit and used it this past weekend. I used it for cutting a few boards that had nails and deck screws embedded. I am talking about standard galvanized framing nails and normal decking screws. Nothing harden or oversized. With the wood with nails blade I made it though probably 4 nails before the blade was pretty dull. Figuring that maybe the metal blade would be more appropriate for the nails I switched to that blade. The teeth on the blade on the metal blade were wore off before I got through the 3rd nail. Perhaps there was a bad run during manufacturing because this does not seem like acceptable performance from any sawzall type of blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kit specifically for the carrying case that holds even the longest blade in the package. Being able to toss that case in my toolbag instead of having loose blades around is much less frustrating. Blades are very strong and last longer than expected.
