Good sound, bad functionality
I own the DCR06 job site speaker, and I prefer it to this. The DCR 025 has big sound, and I like being able to put my phone in the case, but that's all I like about it. If I have my phone with me I can't control the volume on the radio from my phone the way I did with the DCR 06. The clock adjustment is also broken on the DCR025. It's stuck wherever it is, currently it shows today's date as being in the year 2034, And the time is wrong.
The Bluetooth connection isn't as good as the DCR06 either. I lose it more frequently and I often can't connect without going through the settings on my phone.
I like DeWalt told, but this isn't what I was hoping it would be.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Built like a tank, Indestructible!
I received this radio today. The DeWALT model DCR025. This radio is constructed like a tank & Indestructible! The sound quality is good. Remember, this is not a 1000 watt full audio sound system that would blow your mind. It’s a stereo boom box that’s versatile. I had no trouble with the Bluetooth feature or setting the radio up. I purchased a Dewalt 20V XR four amp battery Model # DCB204 so I could get maximum time with the radio. It fully charged this battery in about 1 hour. I will update my review if I encounter any problems. Also keep in mind that this model does NOT come with a BOTTLE OPENER. I believe that model was discontinued and this is the New & Improved Model.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good job site radio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good radio if you have dewalt tools and batteries. Having a radio that runs off of the same battery as your power tools, as well as charges them is very convenient. The radio also has two power outlets on the side so you don’t have to worry about taking up outlet space on the job site. It’s built very tough and durable, aside from the antenna which fell off after a few months of use. Controls are simple and easy to use. Bluetooth works great but has a much shorter range than advertised. Am/fm reception is very poor, even when my antenna was still attached. Sound quality is pretty good as far as portable radios go. Overall, it’s a decent radio for those in the dewalt platform.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not very well thought out design!
I like some of the features but it seems like the designers should have tried using it in a real life environment. The door has no easy way to open it after pushing the open latch. The USB port is nearly impossible to get to with cord even with small hands. The radio needs a place to sit your phone after plugging in because it almost impossible to shut the door with cord plugged in without damaging port. Bottle opener is unusable without picking up radio and still isn't easy. Display is unreadable directly ahead and you must look down on it to see clearly. The antenna designed in a odd way so not easy to raise and lower. It could use a spare battery holder. Good sound and volume.

This radio rocks!
Finally replaced my super old DeWalt radio and I’m glad ai went with this one. Superb sound. Runs all the sizes of the 20/60 series. Super easy Bluetooth pairing. Has a beer bottle opener! One of the best features is being able to charge your phone via USB off of the battery power while using the radio. Ya this thing is heavy and bulky. But it’s also a beast and can take a beating! I’ve already had this fall off my tractor more than once and roll down an embankment. Great radio , cool phone charging capability, AC ports , heavy duty power cord AND a bottle opener. Five stars.

Good upgrade
I am in the process of replacing all of my 18V tools, and this radio/charger is a perfect upgrade. You can store 10 channels, Bluetooth option is a great upgrade, 2 additional 110 power jacks, USB charger, bottle opener, and the way the battery just clips in on the back to charge . Charging batteries now is much more convenient then the old enclosure on the 18V radio/charger. I have not tried the USB or head phone jack, but the storage compartment underneath is a little difficult to access. Another great upgrade is now it uses a lithium battery for power to store your stations instead of the old AA's. The functions are easy to toggle through, and the LCD screen has very good visibility. Overall I am pleased with this purchase

Great job site radio
This is my second one, I own one of the previous generation that I bought in the 90s. If this is anything like the first one I own this should last me at least another 20 years. This radio has great sound and good features. The Bluetooth is good and I like being able to put my phone in the compartment hooked up to the charger cable. The jobsite radio does not even have to be plugged in since the phone will charge off of the battery. I got it on promotion which is the only reason I bought it since it is very expensive. The cost dropped it one star.
