Multi-function tool MT16

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I carry one in my purse and keep one in each vehicle we have. These little combo tools can be a lifesaver or are great when out shopping garage sales! I also have sent one to each of my sons and it seems their girlfriends now carry them because of how great they are to have with you. I can't even count the times a man has been stuck and I have had it with me to lend them. I would never be without a multi tool such as this one ever. You just never know when it will come in handy. I saw others complain about not having a case, and while that would be a nice addition, it doesn't change the facts on how helpful this tool is.

Fumbling around for a screw driver? Frantically looking for spring loaded pliers? Maybe you just cut your nails and need to pry open an ice cold drink on a hot summer day.. This little piece of practicality has got you covered. She is small enough to slip in your pocket but stout enough to handle. Just being able to access all her stainless steel tools without unfolded her is reason enough. When the pliers are unleashed, her ergonomic grips settle comfortably in your palms ready to tackle jobs, hard or soft. One glance at her Black and Yellow trim and I know I’m reaching for a DeWalt tool.

I've owned this puppy for about a year now. The tool does exactly what i need it to do. Only problem i have had is there is no case. I had to get a case from another company. What i would like to see is this multi-tool offered with a separate knife like the DWHT10912, These need a hard sided pouch to protect them while working under equipment. Flimsy canvas cases with cardboard liners are junk and only last a few months in a heavy industrial enviroment. Please do this for me, and ill take the first 10 off the production line. My co-workers do not know what they are missing out on.

I hardly have used it. My wife got it for me to replace a Victorinox (which does have a case) that was starting to break. Unfortunately, there's no way I'm going to carry this in my pocket. So it sits at home on my bedstand unused and I'm still using the Victorinox tool daily. I didn't realize that DeWalt doesn't make a belt case for the tool! I never would have asked for it. I'm dumbfounded as to why they don't make the case. Maybe I'll try to find a case that is the right size. What a hassle.

I used to own a few dewalt drills which were great so i thought this might be a good tool. Its not. The only thing which is even half decent (barely) are the pliers. Every other thing on it is hopeless. Its only redeeming feature is that it seems solidly built, which is meaningless if the tool is no use. I've told my five year old he can have it when he's a bit older as its no use for work.

For the price, this tool stands out from the rest in its class! I use it consistently on a daily basis, and have done so for two years now. As a long time Leatherman user, I was forced to make an inexpensive purchase, because I lost my Wingman...no major complaints at all about this DeWalt. I've made medium-heavy duty repairs with the pliers involving nut's and bolts, used the scissors for all sorts of purposes without fail, and cranked down on countless screws with the drivers. The blade has a nice edge, too. Like any blade, just maintain it properly. As a major bonus that I quickly learned is that it's got agronomical curvature like no other multi tool. When using the pliers it fits just right into the palm of my hand, without uncomfortable edges pressing into my hand. I can apply much more force without any discomfort. One feature it is lacking, is a pocket clip, but I found a perfect remedy for that...a holster. Yes, contrary to the reviews before mine, there is a holster out there that fits, and it has additional features that highly suit my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s your average multi tool. Nothing that special about it. The price makes it somewhat desirable but I have one big problem with it. That’s the color. I wish they made it in other color options.

Great tool, it sits on a table at home when I'm at work due to the fact that it is too heavy to carry in my pocket and they don't make a belt case for it. shame.
