DCB103 is a favorite for me!
Seven years ago I bought 2 of the DCV203 batteries used from a buddy who used them for his HVAC work for a year along with 1 charger DCB112, 2 worklights DCL040, a ¼" cordless impact driver DCF885, and ½" cordless drill driver DCD780. All items are still in great working condition and was worth it for me! I've used at least one battery daily year round for the past 7 years without any issues. I previously had 18V Dewalt that were heavy and limited. I also use Ryobi 40 volt and 18 volt but personally I prefer the Dewalt over the Ryobi for what I do use them for.

This is an XR battery
I have 4 5ah XR batteries and they work great on my XR tools but I wanted something a little more compact and lighter for my drills so I purchased 4 of these 2ah batteries last year. No complaints at all, never let your lithiums run down all the way, once you notice them really losing their charge ....it's time to recharge them, make sure the batteries "click" into the charger. These batteries are XR's, DeWALT changed the label and removed the XR labels in 2019 ...for what reason I don't know, just to confuse us I guess.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor Battery
Just bought combo drill and driver yesterday. One battery showed a 2 light bar and one battery showed a 1 light bar right out of the box. Put the 1 bar battery on the charger and would not increase to even 2 light bars after 4 hours. What's going on here? I have other DeWalt products and have always had great service with them.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought the DeWalt drill and two batteries two years ago thinking I'd be se for about ever. 18 months later and less than two hours use. Yep dead battery. Same as the cheaper Jet brand I replaced. So DeWalt you are right up there with cheap and making a living from bad rechargable batteries.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Lightweight

This battery should be used on smaller tools ie. jigsaw, oscillator, casing nailer. Lasts a long time and it’s lightweight for smaller quick jobs. Some of these comments here make me believe some of these guys are trying to use them on jigsaws and circular saws.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not Good
I talked to customer service rep and he sent me 2 new batteries for the ones that couldn’t hold charge. Well, 1 year later…. The new batteries are doing the same exact thing. I charge them (which takes a very long time) and they last about 7 seconds.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not so great for me.
I bought two fo these and didn’t have much luck with either battery. From a full charge the batteries drain down in about a week. They work fine if you have time to charge them every time after they sit for a while.

Will not hold a charge
I bought two two packs of these a while back. They will not hold a charge after taking them off the charger. Really disappointed as I have many dewalt 18v tools that work great but battery options getting scarce.
