Good circular saw

Recieved as a gift and have been using for approximately 2 years. Saw is lightweight and cuts are smooth. Adjusting the angle is easy and comes with blade wrench. The only thing I would say is a downfall is it not being cordless, but if you are looking for long time use, would recommend competely! Overall very happy with Dewalt and their products.

Don't like it, haven't even used saw, yet

Received this as a gift. It doesn't come with a rip fence. Instruction manual doesn't provide p/n for fence. Refers me to the website. Website asks to sign-up for DeWalt mailing list. No way to close the dialog box. Submit false e-mail and name to proceed. FAQ on rip fence refers me to p. 12 of users manual, which has no info on rip fence!

Saw blade seems to bind regularly

Right out of the box this saw would always bind and be very hard to cut with especially in the first 3"-4" of distance. Seems to be how the guard is designed it always wants to push it to one side causing the binding issue. Very hard to make a nice cut with even when brand new. Would suggest other brands

I've never had to lubricate it, ive used to top cut a multitude of different things over the year and it still runs smooth as silk. I love this saw. As a handyman, i use this constantly. Its a must for any workshop. a corded circular saw, great tool.

The cuts are smoother and it has a nice automatic stop function once the trigger is released. I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade! Nothing beats dewalt.

Does it’s job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this a few years and use it mostly for rough cutting and as first line beater saw. It never even blinks. I used it to demo a giant old 1940s work bench loaded with 20 penny nails and I didn’t even have to replace the blade, broke one tooth. Great cord too, holds up.

This was a great purchase. I am new to this entire home improvement thing and this saw just makes it so much easier. It is light and fool prove. Great power and great flexibility to cut different angles. I would recommend this saw to everyone.
