Fast Charger - 12 V/20 V/60 V - 4 Ports

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to renovate my basement, I knew I would need to update my old DeWalt 18v tools. My wife gave me clearance to buy every tool I would need. I’ve always been a fan of DeWalt, so it was an easy choice. I loaded up on DeWalt 20v tools. Having multiple tools and batteries is a lot easier with this charger. Now I have a way to keep multiple batteries charged and ready to go. My only “negative “ is that it does not slide into the arms of the ToughSystem. It does use the yellow clips to attach it to other DeWalt ToughSystem boxes though. If you are reading this, just buy it. You will not regret it.

More than a little disappointing that this excellent charger was made partially obsolete by the Tough System 2.0, who's decision was it to make the slightest change to the connections so that accessories no longer work with the investments we make in your storage systems?? The other problem that stems from the first problem is that this charger has no quick hanging screw mounts, so it can't be mounted on the wall either and remain removable to take on the road. Now that I can't keep it attached to my stack since it slides/falls off off now every time I try to push batt's into it forgetting that it's not attached I'd like to at least attach it to the wall, but no. What a waste, a poor customer experience decision.

The star ratings and reviews speak to the quality of the charger and its fast charging capability. However, where the gripe everyone has is with the Toughsystem INcompatibiity. Specifically, Toughsystem 2.0. Sure, Dewalt advertises Toughsystem compatibility, but without a deeper dive, most will find the limitation of the legacy Toughsystem. NOT Toughsystem 2.0. So, for those who read this, makers, DIYers, do not let the design limit what your heart desires. If you have this charger, it's likely you have other Dewalt, or alike, tools to make this unit COMPATIBLE with your Toughsystem 2.0. Do we want it to do more work out of the box? No. Do we stop there? No. Simple cuts on a table saw and your sailing into Toughsystem 2.0 capability with your DCB104 holding on tight as you intended.

This is one time that I wish I had done my homework first, but I stumbled upon this charger at the local box store & bought it without researching reviews first. It’s misleading because it says it fits the tough system boxes, but it doesn’t. Despite even the owner’s manual illustrations & instructions on how to do so. When I’m wearing more than a 70lbs backpack of hand tools and rolling my tough system 2.0, the last thing I wish to do is have to carry this thing separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charger is awesome. I have gone fully DeWalt with almost all my battery tools. I have 12, 18, 20 and Flex too. I now use 20v batteries (w/adapter) for my 18v tools that just won't die. I have several batteries because I can't let a dead battery stop the job. This charger is a beast, I can charge all my batteries and never be without power. Hangs on the wall sets up quickly wherever and whenever you need it.

The only charger I use! With over 25 batteries both 20v and 60v this is a must have! It’s the only charger I carry in my van. I don’t want to have to run around trying to find outlets for several chargers, or pulling out a rats next of tangled charger cords when I need to charge batteries. So nice being able to have four charging at the same time in one place. Must have for anyone running multiple batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love that it rapidly charges 4 batteries simultaneously. This charger has been a life saver a few times when we were either burning through batteries faster than the regular chargers could charge, or when we were on a jobsite with limited outlets. Its a lot more convenient to plug in one 4-port charger than having 4 single port chargers plugged in, and then not having any spare outlets.

Bought 2 of these to charger the 20+ batteries I have... I use the batteries on a daily basis and this charger will top up 4x6ah flex volts in 45mins from flat and 4x9ah in 70mins. I also charge 4x15ah but recommend the 12amp charger for these since they take almost 2 hours in this charger. The batteries do not over heat and it works as expected.
