Works but could be designed a little better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this charger for a year now (came with my flex volt angle grinder)and Here's my humble thoughts . Pros , I can charge all my batteries on this unit so I don't need multiple chargers out. It does what it says and works well. Cons , very restrictive air flow which leads to the charger getting pretty warm and a constantly noisy high rpm fan . It can be modified(which might void your warranty lol) . I did mine , the fan runs at almost half it's speed , with a cooler charger with a tonne more airflow and not noticeable by looking at it.don't get me wrong , over all it's a good product . It can be improved in my opinion.

DeWalt Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to renovate my basement, I knew I would need to update my old DeWalt 18v tools. My wife gave me clearance to buy every tool I would need. I’ve always been a fan of DeWalt, so it was an easy choice. I loaded up on DeWalt 20v tools. Now I needed a way to store, transport and protect my investment. I bought quite a few ToughSystem boxes and a couple of the storage racks. Very well made and sturdy. I’m a big boy and I’ve used them as a stool or chair on more than one occasion. They hold up well. This charger works great. It’s very fast and is a great way to keep up with the demand of multiple tool usage. If you are reading this, just buy it. You will not regret it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Makes quick work of the 5ah batteries

The manual states that this charger will completely charge a 5ah battery in 47 minutes. In my experience, it beats that estimate. For me, as long as a charger recharges a battery faster than I can discharge one, it’s worth its weight in gold. And this one does that with no problem. The quality is there, as this thing feels solid. But, not gonna lie, the status lights are completely out of place on this thing. Don’t get me wrong, they communicate effectively, but they look like they came from a cold-war surplus store. Obviously not a functional deficiency, so no stars removed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not fast, and burned up the fourth time I used it

Smoke poured out of it and it started leaking electrolyte out of an internal, capacitor, but you'll never see this review because DeWalt rejected it once already. They could have offered to fix or replace it, but I guess not.. They only like good reviews. I guess it doesn't matter that I've spent over two grand on other DeWalt tools, including a worm drive saw, a nail gun, four 9 AH 20-60 flex batteries, and the 4-battery charger/power supply just in the last 3 months.. You can't trust reviews when DeWalt decides to cherry-pick only the good ones. I guess I'll put my review on Youtube instead, unless they'd like to offer to fix or replace my defective charger. Very disappointed that I can't post an honest negative review, considering how many DeWalt tools I own that I actually do like.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Difficult to remove battery from charger, locked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charges well and fast, but loud and it's VERY difficult to remove battery. Why does it need to lock the battery in? I'm forced to bang it on the table to get the battery out every time, very worried that it'll break soon. But so far so good. This came in pkg with 2 9amp 60v batteries. The batteries are great!

Fast charging for batteries!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to acquire this charger as part of a hammer drill / impact driver kit combo. It fully charges my 6.0 Ah 20V/60V Flexvolt battery in just under one hour. The charger should be kept away from aerosols, sawdust, and other debris because of the vents for the cooling fan. So far no problems or complaints!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Fast Charger Keeps me working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to support my Flexvolt and other 20v batteries, charges them all back to 100% super quick. This has quickly become my go to charger for all my batteries. The unit has an internal fan, that is noisy but who cares, when you are running a saw or impact driver.

Yes, I recommend this product.
