Versatile & great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my saw over a year now and it’s great! Powerful enough to cut through any size lumber and the rolling stand makes transportation and storage a breeze. I love that fence goes out to 32”, making ripping plywood to 2’ super quick and easy. I’d highly recommend this saw to anyone who is low on space and yet still wants the power of a large stationary unit.

Poor quality
I have had this saw now for several months and use it on a daily basis. The instructions for where all the tools go were nonexistent and I ended up going to YouTube to figure out where everything goes. I had to reset the blade stop angle the first time I used it because it was so far off. I have found that the fence is a little closer to one side of the table than the other, not by much but if you’re ripping something big it starts to get off the further you cut. The riving knife sits too far to the right and causes lots of issues and puts the blade in a bind. And last but not least the screws keep falling out, I looked around the plastic shroud where the dust goes out and the screws are all falling out, I’m missing 7 already. I really like a lot of things about this saw like the stand and the handle the wheels and the way it all folds up after you figure out how to do it but all in all the functionality of this saw isn’t the best.

Great upgrade - first was a lemon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did a lot of research to upgrade from a basic generic table saw and got this. First one had issues with the table top coating coming off so I returned and got a replacement. I was afraid it would happen again but so far it been good. Really happy with it. Stand is the best feature and the fence capacity is about the best of any saw in this line.

Poor feature
I bought this item approx a month ago and have been trying to get some satisfaction. If using the miter gauge it is next to impossible to make a straight cut with a 020 inch gap between the gauge and its track that it runs in. It is next to impossible to have any confidence to cut a straight line or use the miter gauge
to cut any angle.

Poor cutting!!

I bought this saw a couple mounths ago. set up was easy and the stand is good and stable. cuts small wood great but when you geting in to a 2 X4 or 2x8 trying to cut in half the saw just cant do iteven at a snail pase. the motor almost stalls or gets stuck on the riving knife. for the price i would expect more power and better useability.

Great Saw with a Few Warts...
Just picked up this saw to do some local home projects. After reading a lot of reviews and watching a lot of videos, I felt that this saw and stand combo was for me. The pros for me were the the size, the power and the Dewalt name. This saw with the stand was just the ticket for my limited space. The saw was properly adjusted and the cuts made were just as expected. That being said, there are a few item's that that I am not thrilled with. The most import is the cheap feeling and poor fitting miter gauge. I expect this quality from Harbor Freight but not from Dewalt. Another sore point with me is the lack of an included dust collector or at least an adapter to mate up with my shop vac. I finally found a temp solution in the plumbing department of my local HW store. The last issue is the installation manual diagrams. I feel that these could be improved, but this is a minor thing. All in all I am happy so far. We shall see as time goes marches on...

Out of the box was very accurate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two years ago and have no complaints at all. Has exceed my expectations for a portable table saw. I build dining tables out of my garage and when I am not building tables I have our vehicles parked in the garage. The saw folds up and has it's spot like all the other tools. Easy to setup and rip fence is accurate every time.

Out of the box
Mostly this is a great table saw for the money. If you are expecting cabinet building grade quality....keep looking. This saw isn't what you want but you'll spend probably 5X the money. I bought it because I have a small work space and I like the fold up feature plus the larger ripping capacity. Biggest problem you will have is adjusting the riving (splitter) knife if it needs to be adjusted. Mine was oriented to the left of the blade. Here are the problems I had. 1. Adjusting allen screws are difficult to access. 2. Manual DOES NOT offer the size needed to do this adjustment. 3. The group or person who composed this manual used the WRONG PICTURE OF THE ADJUSTMENT SCREW LOCATIONS, and since visualizing them is next to impossible without using a mirror, it too me several hours of researching. If you purchase this saw, do yourself a HUGE favor and search Youtube for videos on adjusting the saw. THAT'S how I found out the wrong picture was used.

Best tablesaw for me hands down
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this few weeks ago but it is THE table saw my crew has used for 15+ years. It's great and the fact that I personally purchased this after having used it at work for years speaks volumes and I'd make that choice again with no hesitation..love the fence system, the best out there, and love the portability with it's roll stand

I love this saw but why don't I get a sawdust bag?
I have been using this saw for a couple of years and it does a great job! I only have a couple of comments: 1) One of the screws on the side that the bracket adjusts with fell off after a month of use and 2) there was no sawdust bag in my box like there is with the miter saw! Is there one for this table saw and how do I get one?
Yes, I recommend this product.

Awsome saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this saw a few weeks ago to replace my old broken porter cable table saw. What a difference in this product. Beside the 32 1/2" rip, it has all metal gears and components unlike the cheaper brands with plastic that don't hold up. This might be my favorite dewalt tool I own, and I have quite a few. Very happy with the saw.

Well worth the upgrade!
Purchased the DWE7491RS as an upgrade from an old Chicago Electric. read all the reviews, paying attention to the negatives. Decided to go for it since a slight number of negative ones compared to positive ones. Also, I am one of a few who likes to use dado's and this model accepts dado stacks. Brought it home and unboxed it. Everything was included in the box and was all in excellent condition. Assembly of the stand and saw features are clear and easily to understand. saw table is flat, with no dips and fence was square out of the box. Used my magnetic angle gauge and blade was °90 out of the box.(although, I switched out the blade that comes with the saw for a Freud Diablo blade) As for the features of the saw, I gotta say, the fence adjustment system is good. While there is very slight wiggle in the miter gauge in the T-Slot, but that won't mater too much since I use various sleds for crosscuts and miter cuts. Over all, I am very satisfied with this saw

Blade guard and riving assembly
Easy set up for the exception of assembling the riving knife and the blade guard. Instructions are very poor for this. I tried YouTube for this as well, but to no avail. If someone out there knows a site for this, please advise? Thought I could find a separate model for the actual table saw without the stand, but could not

Solid Saw!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best portable saw on the market. Easy to use, doesn't move around when ripping larger / heavy boards. The gearing system is superior to most other competitors.
I had this saw about 10 years ago and sold it when I moved. I re bought a rigid saw and regretted it. Happy to have re purchased this saw!

Two thumbs down-Two Saws-Eight Days
Two DWE7491RS in Eight Days - BOTH came in with damaged fences - The way the saw is packed there is NO protection from it being damaged in shipping. The second order, the box that the stand comes in had foot prints all over it. Had to return both saws for a refund. Don't know if I want to take a chance on a Third.

Missing one other storage place
Just got the saw and eager to use it. I store my saw against the wall and it need to be as flat as possible. Excellent storage for items WITH ONE EXCEPTION (unless I can't find it) - no place to store the miter tool. Lots of places to do so and wish for future buyers Dewalt will care for that detail.

Great little table saw

I purchased this table saw for my home workshop and have used it a ton. The portability it exceptional and when set up extremely sturdy. I have used it to build a number of projects and it Hase performed great. If you don’t have the space for a permanent table saw this little guy will do you well.

Gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first table saw purchase, It has met all my expectations and then some. I bought it thinking I would probably end up upgrade to a cabinet table saw later, but I have built multiple cabinets and counting. Still performs very well, never loses power and can go anywhere! Great saw!

Very versatile and solid table saw
Just purchased this 10" table saw by Dewalt. The saw has a lot of great features and I love the on board storage and mobility of this unit. Lots of power, more than this average home remodeler will need, but really like the capability of this unit. Highly recommend this product.

Everything I expected
Howdy y'all. I bought this saw so I could build a crib for our first born ( I know, overkill, but hey...) It cuts through the 3/4" MDF like a hot knife through butter and eats through 4x4 lumber like me at a buffet line. It does bog down a little when I feed a 4x4 through too fast but still has plenty of power and doesn't leave much hanging on (have to either flip the 4x4 or use a hand saw to finish the cut through). I only had to align the blade to the miter slot a little bit, table top is flat (It's not a multi thousand dollar cabinet table saw, I wasn't expecting perfection but pretty much have it) and the rip fence mounts are close enough to parallel with the blade for the girls I date. I also love the closed in blade so I don't have to worry about someone or something getting wound up in the blade. Coupled with mobility, provisions for all of the tools on the saw. The only thing I wish it had is a way to store extra blades on the side/bottom somewhere. But overall, extremely impressed and satisfied.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Rack and pinion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this saw in and out and I cannot get enough of the rack and pinion system, which changes to the fence are simple and accurate, and binding is non-existent when the fence moves so smoothly. This makes my job run safer, faster, and with smoother rips requiring less qc.

An amazing saw almost flawless!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first table saw and I am not sure if I ever want to go to a different brand after using this. I am doing the window cashing and sill for my whole house and I ripped and cross cut a lot of wood with this saw. This is a powerful power house and a big win for your money.

Great saw, stand isn't the best
love the saw, cuts nice through any kind of wood, plenty of power. The stand isn't that great and isn't user friendly for set-up / break-down. The levers operate differently on each end, so anyone unfamiliar with these will eventually break them, which is what happened to mine.

cheap plastic

I'm a huge Dewalt fan, my work truck has nearly all yellow tools. But this saw is driving me! I've had this saw for a while now with no issues, until the cheap plastic fence lock broke.
It's seem to be near impossible it find a replacement part, without buying a new saw!!

Great saw!
This is a fantastic saw. The large dust port makes connection to a normal shop vacuum easy. A little paste wax on the table made material slide smoothly. I wouldn't rely much on the miter gauge or push stick, but they work. Overall, though, it's an excellent purchase.

Can’t beat the rack and pinion fence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i Owned sever job site saws before this one and none compare. The rack and pinion fence on this can’t be beat. It is a big time saver to not have to continually adjust it from sliding out of position. It is very quick and accurate. I definitely recommend this saw!

Beware the Self Loosening Arbor Nut
I purchased a new DEWALT 7491RS because I loved my previous DEWALT DW745. When it died an untimely death, I found that DEWALT was not longer making those. So, I researched and found rave reviews of the DEWALT 7491RS. The first 7491RS I brought home had an issue where the arbor nut would come loose on its own and the saw blade would be spinning freely. So not good. It was in the first 90 days, so I returned it and brought home another DEWALT 7491RS because I thought it was just a fluke, right? DEWALT has great tools. The second one did the same thing within two weeks of purchase. I returned this one as well. Since the reviews of the saw are so good, I went to a different retailer to purchase one thinking maybe the first retailer got a bad manufacturing run of these. So far, the arbor nut is holding. Let me clarify that I am a professional woodworker and no stranger to power tools. I have had multiple table saws over the years, and I have never had such problems before. We shall see if this third one is the charm.
