Play in blade arbor shaft.

Just purchased this saw and made several cuts. I noticed that the arbor shaft has a significant amount of play in it. I can hold the blade an move it to the left and right and feel the loose tolerance in the arbor shaft bearings. The arbor nut is locked tight on the blade, the play is in the shaft / bearings. This is really disappointing for a brand new saw right out of the box. I have a Delta miter saw and table saw which have been used for years with absolutely no wobble or play in the blade. Looks like a quality problem, I am hoping Dewalt can resolve this issue as the saw appears to be very well thought out with many features.

Easy Setup, great saw

I bought this after reviewing several table saws. Working alone I had it assembled in under an hour, and it was almost perfectly set up right out of the box. I had to make one extremely small tweak in the fence alignment and another in the splitter. The latter was a little bit confusing as the instructions and photos were not perfectly clear, but once I started adjusting I could see what to do. First crosscuts were right on the money and the first test rip was perfect. The rip fence scale is right on the money. I am very happy that I made this choice. The miter gauge seemed to be the one weak link, but even that proved to be accurate when I used it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This table saw is the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife bought me this table saw not too long ago. Boy am I glad she did! I was using a cheaper saw prior and she noticed my frustrations time after time with unsquare cuts and repetitive cuts that were less than perfect. The day she came home with this beauty, it changed everything. Constant great cuts and the fence doesn't move until you want it to haha. My production rate has increased and accuracy is awesome. I like the fence feature where it helps with large cuts and small thin cuts as well. The storage of the on board accessories are well planned out. There is room for everything. The portability is great and set up takes seconds. So happy with this product!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great saw

I've had this saw for several months and love it. Out of the box it was dead on.....even the tape on the saw for measuring fence distance is right on. Remember this is a job site saw NOT a cabinet saw. I live in a condo and have limited garage space.....this saw is perfect for that. Two issues....I wish the saw was more mobile after the legs are extended (I hade a Bosch before this saw and you could move it on the wheels after set up. I also wirg there was a zero clearence insert available for this model. Maybe Dewalt will make one available. Both issues are minor points. Bottom line great saw for its intended purpose.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Concerned

I do really like this saw and I only had to do a minor tune up out of the box! There is only one thing that concerns me about using it too much right now is the numerous reviews on many online sites warning people about the arbor nut coming loose!!!!! I know, silly, I sound scared to use my table saw but this sounds like a bad horror movie! To be proactive I am not sure if I should contact Dewalt and see what they are doing to address this issue or hope they read my review and contact me like they have others. If it weren't for this huge issue I would have given it 5 stars. If this had happened to me personally I would give it one star but I am trying to be fair.

Great saw to upgrade from a Ryobi

I upgraded from a ryobi table saw, and this thing is amazing. It has a huge table for a jobsite saw, and all the other features you would expect for a jobsite saw. On top of being able to run a dado set. The rip fence capacity is huge too. 32+ inches when needed. I also like the fact that all the parts for the saw have a storage spot onboard, so no need to worry about loosing anything, since it all has a spot to fit in on the saw. When I bought this, it was the RS model with the included rolling stand. The stand it very sturdy and well built, on top of easy to assemble. If you are looking to upgrade your saw, or just in the market for a new one, This is the saw to get.

Versatility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model saw last year and I love it. The rolling stand is a nice touch. Less trips to the truck and easy to handle. I also like the feature where all the attachments are mounted under neath, and the quick release level to exchange from the pinch guard to the kick back guard with the available option to hook up a small shop vac hose. They debri basket is a nice add feature and very easy to access. Lastly the guard is the best feature of all with one knob to move the front and back of the guard gives you better precision ripping and cross cutting with the add push through arm with reaching distance and the add arm for wider cuts. Star for star I give it 5 stars

Yes, I recommend this product.

Almost perfect out of the box!

The saw was easy to setup right out of the box. The scrolling stand went together quickly and even included all the tools needed to put it together. The saw was aligned properly and requires no adjustments. The fence needed a very small adjustment (0.005”) to make it parallel to the miter track. The onboard storage is really great not to mention clever. I bought the saw to fit in my small garage workshop but on the stand it folds up to fit nicely in the space I carved out between two shelves. I will start making sawdust today so hopefully it works as well as the experience I’ve had so far. Stay tuned.

Yes, I recommend this product.
