Must have tool.

I really didn’t put much faith in the thought that a cordless nail gun could be as good as one connected to a compressor. I am happy to say that I am a believer. My brother in law wasn’t either so when he borrowed it he turned the depth all the way up. He was confused at first when he thought nothing was coming out of the gun because his boards kept falling off the wall. He quickly found out the nails went straight through. This has become one of my favorite tools. Its simple, well built, easy to use, and everyone wants to borrow it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I love this nailer the most.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a brad nailer stapler before. BUT THIS BRAD NAILER IS AMAZING!! I Iove dewalt. I love the cordless nail guns. But this one is my favorite. My finishing nailer is awesome. Shoots a nail with crazy power. This one can just do anything. I find a new reason to use it everyday. I just fixed all the creaky floor boards in my house. Can’t see one nail. Took about a half an hour. It is powerful. Fast. Sleek. Lightweight. I look for things I can use it on. I can not say enough. I feel so unstoppable with it in my hands.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Just buy it!

I was a little sceptical at first as i am used to carrying the old nailer n tank thinking that cordless would not be able to complete an entire house with trim but dewalt clearly proved me wrong! With my corded nailer the jams were a common thing something that i would just learn to live with! But man am i happy with this! Less tools to travel with or dragging a cord around makes me very happy i am finally free of that and what a feeling, most people dont like the being free of the cord but once you are its like being reborn again! Have fired probably a million nails in this thing already with using softwood and oak and maybe have had 5 jams! That’s incredible to say, overly impressed with this an considering buying the framming nailer which is getting amazing reviews!!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

best cordless nailer on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have owned just about every brand of cordless nailer, from ryobi, ridgid, milwalke, pasload etc.. and this dewalt brad nailer has been the best so far, the only other one that comes close is the pasload, but the dewalt shoots faster, runs on a battery so no need to purchase gas carts. im a master trim carpenter, and trim about 150+ houses a year, i still have my pancake compressor with all my pneumatic nail guns just so you know. the last house i trimmed was about 2300 sqft of baseboard, window and door casing, also hanging the doors, i trimmed close to 80% of that house on a single battery before it needed charging.. since i have owned this brad gun i rarely have the need for my compressor, hoses, and pneumatic nail guns.. i absolutely love this nailer and trust me once you use it once you will to.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worth the weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about a year now, and have been very happy with it. I don't have a portable compressor, so this has helped me install trim around the house with ease. It's really easy on battery, and having options from 5/8" up to 2"+ makes it a flexible tool. Only thing to note is that you pay for portability in size and weight - the head that holds the flywheel mechanism is large enough that you can't always get it into spaces where a similarly powerful air nailer would fit.

XR Brad Nailer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nailer has been one of the best purchases I've made in recent memory. As a trim carpenter this tool is priceless. No more lugging compressors, hoses, etc around the jobsite. I grab this bad boy out of my tool box and start installing. The belt hook is an added bonus. Great for running base and shoe but really helps when working overhead. This would be the first tool is replace if my equipment came up missing. Highly recommend for DIY to professionals. Absolute must buy.

Boom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 years in still haven't had a nail jam, I mostly use it for quick service items, or installing crown. occasionally if I don't feel like bringing my compressor into a house I'll use it to case doors, mails base and shoe. Back to crown. You haven't lived until your on a 28' ladder installing crown in a foyer or great room, not holding up 10lbs of extra hose nailing away as fast as you can shoot it into studs and joists/trusses.

20V Brad Nailer

Simply, this is a great tool and well worth the money. I had hesitated for so long due to the price and it paid for itself on my first job where I had to install 650 feet of floor trim moldings. I do recommend ear muffs if you plan to use this a lot as it is pretty load especially in a small room or closet (with the echoing). This brad nailer eliminates so much of the hassle of the air compressor version.

Awesome Tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because I'm lazy! I didn't want to swing a hammer to put up new facia boards on my house. This thing is amazing. Made short work of a job I was really dreading. Flawless performance as we've come to expect from DeWalt. If there is a fault in this tool, for me, it would be that it's a bit pricey. But then, I'm a tightwad, and...as they say...You get what you pay for! And, DeWalt is the best!

Super efficient and effective!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool has helped me finish many baseboard jobs without the need for air. I will say that the nailer in a portable form is by far the best tool I’ve purchased in a while. The only issue I have the soft rubber foot pad on the tip falls off easily and I’ve had to order more than I ever did with pneumatic models. I’m happy with dewalt for the most part but there isn’t t a better nailer out there

Worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the small jobs. Instead of lugging a compressor, extension cord, and hose., I just have to take this. Will this gun replace a pneumatic, I honestly think it could. I always grab this gun now, and never touch my air nailer. The convenience of it, and the time saved little by little each day, honestly I think that it makes it worth the higher price tag compared to a air nailer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love this thing!

It just arrived yesterday and I've already used it to construct some on the counter shelves from rock hard maple. Impressive. I told my bro. "I wished I'd bought one 10 years ago! He said "they didn't have them 10 years ago!" I said,"Well, they should have! A little heavy for a lady to use, but I don't have to drag an air hose. I actually used it in my livingroom! Try that with a compreeor tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we've been using this tool 5 days a week for almost a year it is a god send in the fact we dont have to lug a compressor around. use case for me is putting on base and attaching transitions for flooring i would for sure buy another...on a side note accidentally loaded it with 16g and it still shot them but left them high...didnt damage the unit when switched back to 18 thank the lord

Leave your compressor behind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago and I've used it on 2 trim jobs so far and I love it. No compressor no hose just grab your nails and your ready to trim. It has features like low nail safety so you dont miss nailing anything. The leds are great in dark corners and closets. Great versatility in nail size and adjustable depth stops blow through. Great addition to my dewalt collection.

DeWalt awsome Brad nailer with battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man this DeWalt 18g brad nailer is awsome. It's great when i don't have to haul a compressor, air hose and nailer to some job projects to nail up casing, baseboard or smaller nailing project. The only thing i hope for in your new version is no rev up motor noise. With that maybe a slimmer body style nailer. Other then that well worth getting this nailer.

Say goodbye to your air compressor!

Owned for ~ 3 years, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had a jam, and I've gone through thousands and thousands of nails. Will run for quite awhile, even on a 1.5ah battery, keeping the tool lightweight. A bit large, but in 99% of situations, this isn't a limiting factor for me. Love not having to get the compressor out for a quick piece of trim!

Great tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this tool made me abandon my compressor, hoses, and electrical extensions. it is simply powerful. it just does not work well with nails too long, 2 in., the nails do not go all the way in when it is hardwood. It has a small gap in the pin that pushes the nail, sometimes depending on the position of the machine the nail is also out. but even so I love her.

Life saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 8 months ago. It lasts long on any battery, fires on demand with rapid fire and the depth control is on point. My co workers have probably used it more than I have, it’s one of the more popular tools in the shop. It works great. We build for film. While on different locations or in sets, being close to power is often a luxury

Nice addition to mobile finish kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved this as a gift from my "wish list" because bringing a compressor for a Punch List or minor repair was annoying with stairs and hills, etc.. It's not a replacement for pneumatics but it's an addition, the nails don't always set in hardwood trim but it beats lugging a compressor for one piece of shoe or scribe molding

So convienent! My go to tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this addition to my yellow tool collection. Homeowner with constant renovation going on, not a pro, so perfect for me. Hours saved when I just need a couple of trim pieces to go up. Fires easily, a little heavy but no big deal, uses standard 18 gauge nails that I had for my old air nailer. Two thumbs up.

No Cords or Hoses!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this nailer with the intention of just using it when the job didn’t require breaking out a compressor and hoses, but when I started using this it blows pneumatic nailers out of the water! I installed trim for over 3 hours and never had to switch batteries! This is a great investment for carpenters like myself!

Game Changer!

Just got this gun today! Already used for installing MDF casing and baseboard. Used 2” pins to set door frame in place. Wow, all perfectly driven, no misfires, no jams and best of all, no hose and compressor. This is going to change the game! Seems really good as far as battery use goes. Very impressed with Dewalt!

Dreams do come true

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of using a compressor and a nail gun, I finally jumped into the cordless world. This gun is so easy to use. It will stop shooting when you are almost out of nails. It is easy to line up. Much quieter than a compressor and without fighting the air hose much easier to use. My favorite purchase of 20202

Exceeds my needs, but most useful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a homeowner, I don't use the 20V brad nailer for my livelihood. However, I find reasons at home to use it as much as possible. And it's super convenient without the typical air compressor and oil. I knew it was overkill for me, but it's a guilty pleasure i don't regret at all!

Great for small jobs and punch lists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this gun. It’s been amazing to not have to grab the compressor and hose and set it up. It’s one flaw is that it’s not 100% reliable. It leaves maybe 1 out of 20 nails sticking out. But with that said it’s still my go to gun especially if I’m in a hurry.
