DeWalt Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to renovate my basement, I knew I would need to update my old DeWalt 18v tools.
My wife gave me clearance to buy every tool I would need. I stocked up on DeWalt 20v tools.
I’ve always been a fan of DeWalt, so it was an easy choice.
Remember the old days of dragging out the air compressor, untangling your air hose, dragging the hose from room to room and tripping on the hose??
Those days are gone. This tool is amazing. I look for reasons to use it now.
It works perfectly every time.
My only regret is not buying one sooner.
If you are reading this, just buy it. You will not regret it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Long battery life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to use so I didn’t have to run my noisy air compressor. Was a little worried that I’d have to be replacing batteries all day, so I bought 2 to have on the charger when using one...and I am extremely happy to report that during an almost constant use during an 8 hour work day there was no need to replace the battery once! Even using the rapid fire mode, pull the trigger and slam it down, still one battery per day.
Another nice feature, that scared me at first, is that it won’t let you dry fire, when it’s down to its last 6 (I think) nails it won’t fire and gives you enough room for a new rack or nails!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Features

I recently bought the 20V Max 18GA Cordless Brad Nailer Kit and it is an awesome tool. I no longer need to start up the air compressor and uncoil the hose just to shoot a few nails. This cordless tool is easy to install the battery and fire away! I do kitchen renovations and this tool has come in handy for trim work and anywhere a brad nail is needed. The features on this tool make it easy to use. Bright LED lights are positioned well so it lights up your space where you are shooting a nail. Rapid fire is a nice feature as well. This nail gun also shoots 5/8" - 2 1/8" 18GA brad nails - a nice range!

Absolutely amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one about 7-8 months ago and I was coming from a gas powered paslode. What a difference, it’s lightweight and powerful enough to shoot on anything. I mostly use it for caring out doors and doing base but I have used it for many other things. I ended up buying another one about a 3 weeks ago because it’s so great and no one wants to use the paslode anymore lol it’s never even jammed on never like the paslode has. And if it were to jam there’s a quick release on the top to unjam in seconds. I didn’t know what I was missing out on until I owned one. Absolutely amazing tool, highly recommend.

convenient 3rd hand
This is my first power nailer, I have used air powered nailers i the past, and I have always used a hammer and nails.
But admittedly this makes installing trim easier, especially when you are holding the trim, or material with one hand, you can use this to nail it in place.
I have used elbows, feet, head chin, neck you name it I've used it to hold the piece in place so I can hold the nail and hammer with my hands.
Furthermore the absence of air hose and necessary air compressor for an air powered gun, makes this an obvious choice.
I was initially concerned with battery life, and even more so when I discovered this only came with a 2ah battery, my concerns were put to rest after the first day of use.

Extremely practical gun for finishing carpenter
7 years ago
I am a contractor that does finish trim 75% of the time. I all the paslode gas guns made and this gun not only keeps up with them, but is less maintenance and hassle!!! It's so nice to be able to pick this gun up, slide a battery in and know for a fact that you are ready to start nailing no matter the temperature! No more worrying about the battery and if the gas is a good pack or was it bad from manufacturing, did it leak, or is it too cold?
Wonderful job Dewalt! It's more weight, but it outweighs in benefits. I'll be phasing out my 16 gauge and going to Dewalt as well!

Great investment

I purchased this brad gun in kit form in Dec, 2021 after reading all of the positive reviews and of course because it’s Dewalt. I couldn’t be happier . I’ve used in to install 3 rooms of trim so far , not a single issue . It leaves very small nail holes and sinks every nail completely. The build quality is excellent, typical Dewalt quality . It comes with 2.0 Amp hr battery that lasted completely through my 3 rooms . My 3 rooms consisted of 7 doors 6 windows and all the base and shoe molding. It worked perfectly using 2&1/8 brads all the way down to one inch . The LEDs were quite helpful trimming in the dark closet and the belt hook made carrying it a breeze . It’s not heavy either. I can’t recommend it enough .
Yes, I recommend this product.

Pleasantly surprised
I bought this 2 days ago, so that I could install a bunch of baseboard in multiple apartments. My gas powered cordless brad nailer had a bent firing pin, and I didn't want to have to drag a compressor up and down 4 flights of stairs. I had used a battery powered cordless brad nailer in the past and I was definitely dissatisfied with the performance of it; you could only fire 15 - 20 brads before there wasn't enough juice to countersink the brads. I figured with 2 new 20 volt batteries and a brushless motor I could probably make it through half a day or so before I would need to stop and charge all my batteries again (I have a total of 5 batteries). I was definitely wrong, I went 2 days on a single battery, shot like 2000 brads. I am very impressed,
