Can’t beat that heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this heat gun, used it to take decals off a vehicle, shrink water proof tubing, and dry paint on a project for a quicker turn over! I like the size of the tool and the heat it can produce! Very happy with this purchase! Great tool guys!

I bought this over the weekend, the heat gun doesn’t heat up enough. Didn’t have a thermometer but I doubt that it reached the claimed temperatures. I use on VP stick membrane during cooler months. Doesn’t blow enough hot air.

We use it to test fire alarm heat detectors at work. Quick heat and the locking trigger really help!
Our one criticism is that the com could be a little high like up to 12 vs the current 6.7.

Reading the other reviews mine must be different. I can hold it 3/4” away from shrink tubing and after about 3 min it will start to shrink it. The shields are loose and fall off all the time.
