Cordless Drill/Driver and Impact Kit - 20 V

I bought this set a month ago for use mainly in my machine shop and small home projects. Good tools for entry level and small jobs but not hard use like I put them through. Battery life is not great and drill doesn't have the guts at all. If you plan on using them a lot spend the extra money and get the XR. Also find it a joke that you spend that kind of money and they don't even include a belt clip anymore

Ease of use, the impact driver is fantastic and I wish I would have not waited so long to purchase one. Those hard to screw in screws go in like a hot knife through butter. I had a regular drill from DeWalt the model DCD771 and it has been great but i just bought this combo Drill/Driver set since i really needed the driver and didn't even realized until i got home that it was a Brushless motor... I am so happy with the purchase the drill is much more compact and the control with the trigger for low speed drilling is amazing. Great product overall !

I bought this kit as a much needed upgrade over my 10 year old cordless drill; yes, the battery on the old drill was on its last legs. Drilling into concrete using an 8.5mm masonry bit, the DCD 777 got right to work, didn't bog, making the desired 3.5 inch deep hole. The manual doesn't recommend using masonry bits of any size, but it worked excellent for my little job.

I bought this set to replace a low-budget set I have been using for 2 years after having a friend lend is DeWalt set to me. The difference is huge between low budget and this grade of cordless power tool. Driving Heavy Duty 3 inch deck screws becomes a breeze with this driver and the drill tears through 8 in of wood with a 1in wood bit like it's angry at it.

I just bought the dewalt drill driver set and I am already unhappy. I pulled it out of the box and installed the batteries. I want to check batteries to see remaining life and do not find an indicator light anywhere. I think this feature is important. I am going to look at some options before I use this set. I may have to return it and get something else.

Have used one at Fire Dept for years. Finally decided it was time to have one at home so I bit the bullet and got one for myself and some accessories to go along with it. Reason why only 4 stars is because I’m not overly fond of battery stuff because they don’t seem to hold as long as I like for it to once they get a little life on them.

This kit is the first DEWALT tool for me. I thought it was a great deal for your money. My good friend has been a carpenter for 20+ years and DEWALT is the ONLY brand of tool in his tool box.(power and cordless tools). I have helped him many times on different projects, and I have to agree with him, DEWALT makes very good tools.

Bought about two months ago good drill for the money. Battery life could be better though. Be nice if it would of came with a belt clip. And it needs to have lights all around the drill head instead of just the bottom. In all a good product use mine for remodeling houses use a lot in the two months so far holding up well.

Unfortunately it was several months between the purchase date and my first use. I still like Dewalt products and have a few more. Just disappointed in the impact driver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fortis combo pack about 3 weeks ago I am pleasantly surprised at power that these two tools put out this is replacing an older 18 volt Dewalt drill that I've had for years the drill still works fine but the battery is going bad so instead of buying new bad figured I would buy new tools and I'm happy I did

These are much lighter and easier to handle, with plenty of power that matched my older drill. They seem well made and priced well compared to other sets. I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm not a Carpenter so I don't use it on a daily basis, but I can charge it, use it a couple times a week for several weeks and still have great power. Lightweight because the batteries aren't huge

I called Dewalt and they replaced the battery free of charge. I love a company that stands behind there product. Since then I am only buying Dewalt products.

Even though I'm not a professional, I still wanted quality that would last. Boy, did I find that with this combo kit. Gets the job done with plenty of power. Can't recommend highly enough.

The impact driver is super handy, and the drill is my staple for everything. I load the bag and it goes with me constantly.

Actually I purchased the combo kit with the hard case (DCKTS277C2) but the it does not appear in the registation list. The product is exactly what I was looking for the only con is that the Dewalt driving bit and Drill bit boxes do not fit in the hard case.

Love the 2 batteries vs just one in most bundles. Charges quickly and definitely have enough power for most everyday diy.

Have built more stuff in my garage and basement for shelving, work bench, Garage Tools organization, stools, benches, etc. Until this time, i have used many name brand drills and impact driver out of which i would call these the Best. After getting these i have to say i have become a fan of Dewalt products. The power these drill and driver has is incredible. Love the 20V batteries. I have two sets of these so that would give me 4 batteries and 2 chargers to work with. I had an 18v drill earlier and was struggling to get a screw for my TV mount on the Stone wall of my Fireplace. This one drove the screw so perfect. The batteries last longer compared to the others too. I use both the drill and impact driver at the sametime as that makes my job simple(drill bit on the drill and screw driver bit on the impact driver). And these last for a long time as i have my first set since September 2015. Overall i am very very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend these tools to anyone who is looking buy one.

4-stars as ad said it comes with 2 belt clips, but they were not included. LIght weight and sturdy tools. Really like the led light. Came recommended from my contractor nephew, his faith in DeWalt has transferred.

Dewalt is a dependable brand and the brushless motor has definitely been a game changer, would be nice if the drills came with the belt clips I tried to install the clips from my Milwaukee drills but that was a no go

I just recently got into wood working and wanted a quality drill and driver. I use Dewalt at work so I knew the quality and have field tested them myself. I love them a lot more than other brands I’ve had.

I got this combo for Christmas and the difference from the old one is hard to express. I had a cheapie from HF and I had to turn this down because I burnt my palm when tightening in a bit.
