Great power under a compact size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this drill a month ago, and I cannot be any happier. I was debating from this drill set and another brand. However, after really doing some research this 12v sold me. I love how much punch this small drill holds, I would honestly say that I can do most of my work with this drill without having to touch my bigger size impact drills. Since I do carry my drill on my tool belt, I love how I hardly feel the weight throughout the day. Lastly, I love the versatility of the 12v line up, and I love being able to use the battery on different products. I LOVE DEWALT!! This is definitely the drill I cannot love without.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent Start to My Arsenal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compact driver and drill were the first Dewalt tools I purchased as a DIY wood worker. These tools have been a mainstay for me since 2015. I haven’t upgraded since these are still running great. Zero issues with the tools or batteries. I asked my Pop what tools I should be using and his first response was Dewalt. I’m glad I took his advice. I have since picked up the pancake air compressor and am looking to add a few more tools in the future.

The Best Accident I Ever Purchased
I was looking for a drill set and saw the low price for this set without even looking at the voltage. I was initially looking for something with a higher voltage, but bought this set instead. I couldn't be happier. I realized my mistake when I got home and after using the set on a few times I realized that this set was most appropriate for any small, and some large, projects around the house. The best mistake I ever made!

Running strong for years!!

Had this set for years now and its awesome! I have used this impact driver for everything! I have been in construction for years and this kit can do the work of a 20v! I have build large decks with just using these drills to drive fasteners! Very light to carry around or easy to slide into even a small pocket on your tool belt! This kit comes out before the 20v everytime! Love these light little power houses!!

Productivity Increased!

I've been using this set for 2 years straight, one full year in the shop...it has now become my favorite home set also! As a licensed mechanic I have tried a number of 1/4" drivers that just didn't stand up to the abuse that this one has. Plenty of power and very long lasting battery packs are a must in the auto industry & I was never let down by this one! The drill is just as good, but as I've seen on other reviews would have preferred the larger power option (18V), but that is not the reason I bought this kit. The combo is now used around my house for odd jobs from plumbing to building small projects and the power is the same as when I first brought it to the shop! Pleasantly surprised at battery life especially in the driver, not as impressed by the battery life in the drill however. Liked the brand so much just got the big brother for my toolbox at work...Review in a little while!

Best Purchase of the year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago I moved from the suburbs to a 6 acre property. All my tools were corded and that just didn't work here. I purchased this set and my productivity is amazing. It's just so easy to fix the big and small. I have never run out of power during a job, nor have I found a project that the tools can't handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] purchased my first set for work. I was so happy with them I bought 2 more kits for my home workshop. light weight and powerful, plus the battery life needed for REAL world usefulness. first set is about 5 years old, have had the others about 2 years. no problems, no complaints!

Small tools, big power!
i’ve had my 12v drill and impact driver for about a year now and i’m THOROUGHLY impressed. i do HVAC installation mainly (sheet metal fastening, drilling, awling and anchoring mostly) and i use them EVERY DAY! the batteries are outstanding for their size! the impact driver is the best part of this, it’s very strong, and it helps that it’s small for getting into tight places, other guys at work are always borrowing it because their 20v are too big. belt clip is really handy and since it’s so light it won’t pull your pants down lol. the drill/driver could be nice for a lot of applications, unfortunately i haven’t had a huge use for it. it’s just strong enough for putting anchors in brick mortar joints but obviously if you need to go into brick a hammer drill would be the better option. it’ll go through 6” of wood with a 3/8” bit so that’s great for thermostat wires. overall they’ve held up VERY well, i am harsh on my tools to be honest, ( dragging them under houses and dropping them off ladders, etc.) but aside from some scratches they’re in perfect condition. LOVE the bright LED lights. overall a great buy!
