Cordless Chainsaw - 60 V MAX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is great, works as good as a gas powered one with the best option being it starts on the first pull. Oregon bar and chain so I do not have to order special. Light weight and cuts great!

total crap. Used it for maybe six months. probably didn’t use it more than 10 times. Just stopped working. was barely outside of warranty. They didn’t care they. don’t stand by their products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is a lot more powerful than I thought it would be. It cut like a champ. Cut up a holly tree about 14” diameter and trimmed all the limbs 2” to 6” and still had power to spare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought bout a couple months ago. So far I’ve use it to cut bushes out around my house, Build a porch and cut up brush that fell of the trees last winter. Keeps up and don’t struggle a bit

Having a bad shoulder, pulling a line is a struggle. This chain saw is pretty good, has decent power to cut 10” timber. Batteries last a couple of hrs. I wish DeWalt had a case for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this 60V saw. Its as powerful as a gas. Its easy to handle as a gas can jump around more. Its very easy to tighten or change the blade with no tools. I would recommend this saw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this saw. No need to worry about whether it will crank or not and no tuning required. Keep a few batteries handy and keep the chain sharp and this dude will chew up some wood.

Looking at these for a while and knew the DeWalt was clearly one of the top 2-3, by reviews. The top saw was off the graph expensive so I rolled the dice on this 60 volt. I figured at a minimum, It could take the branches off downed trees and I could use the expensive battery on another of the line of FlexVolt tools. The test: a neighbor had a maple tree blow down in a recent storm. While I only had the 3 amp hour battery, I gave it a shot. I was stunned. This machine cut with close to the speed of a gas saw. While lighter and quieter. I have a Chevy Colorado pick up. With the one medium battery, I cut the maple tree up into 16” firewood sections, filling my truck bed up flush to the cover. Very comfortable to cut with. Easy to fill the bar oil reservoir though it only lasted as long as the battery ( maybe planned that way?). The battery charged in a few hours and the led meter on the battery was almost as awesome as the dial you use to tighten the chain. This thing is by far one of the best uses of high tech battery power I have ever seen. Just ordered 2 of the 6 amp hour batteries. Well done DeWalt -

I bought this just for trimming around house nothing major and I really like it not having to mix gas and so on would probably give higher rating but i,m just doing minor stuff

Saw is good for small branches only . It’s very disappointing when attempt to cut 7inch or bigger logs. Need a bunch of fully charged batteries and takes longer time to cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m keep this in my truck tool box especially in the winter as it’s not uncommon to come across a down tree. No need to keep stinky messy gas. Love it!

I bought my 16" Chainsaw on 8/20/2020. Ran great for 3 battery charges then the chain oiler stopped working. Sending back to factory for repairs.

I haven't even used this saw because as soon as I filled the chain oil reservoir it started leaking. This thing creates a huge mess don't buy it.
