This table saw is a rugged workhorse
I have been using this saw for a few years and remain quite pleased. So far it has been capable of every task I put it through. It's compact and travels well. I have used it for remodeling houses and for making furniture.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my go-to saw for all of my projects. Ready to use right from the box, without needing to realign or adjust the blade. Easy to move and nice storage for all the movable pieces. Very happy with this purchase!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Portable Table Saw
Purchased 2 years ago and have used on a ton of projects. Ripping plywood, shiplap, etc. has been a breeze. I only wish I had purchased the model that handles a dado stack. If you need that, don't purchase this saw.
Yes, I recommend this product.

a great little saw
I have enjoyed this new purchase for my trailer fix it service. Light in weight heavy in performance. It doesn't do dados, but I'm way more talented to be hung up on that to get the job done. Good price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good saw with some bad oversights
This saw has some excellent potential but three things bother me 1) the table has notched sides and the edges slope downwards. It's a complete waste of added material that could otherwise be supporting your workpiece. The previous model DW745 had a plain flat table with square edges and unfortunately is discontinued. 2) To rip widths over 12" you can extend the fence and unfold a supporting edge. Sadly that edge is about 1/4" below the table so it doesn't hold your workpiece level. 3) There are 4 threaded inserts on the bottom side of the frame, presumably for securing it to a workbench. These are 5/16" or 8mm holes but not standard coarse or fine thread pitch. There is no mention of them in the manual and I'm annoyed I cannot find the proper bolts to fit it. -- Aside from that, this saw built with quality materials and includes features that have been designed well. It's a shame really because this saw beats out every other maker in this category and these things could be fixed without adding cost. I really hope someone at DeWalt is listening for the next iteration of this product.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great little saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first table saw and it’s fantastic. Easy setup and super convenient. Small enough to move or store anywhere. I just finished ripping treated deck boards and cut through them like butter.

Very portable and accurate cutting

I bought this table saw and stand so I can move out of my garage and expand in the driveway. It’s so easy to setup and take down. Very accurate cutting and my go to saw.

makes great sawdust

Happy with most of the saw, the dust collection is subpar. Unable to find anything that will fit the 2.5" port. Dewalt does not have anything on their accessorits page.

Nice little saw with a flaw
Saw cuts well but the top surface has a serious 1/16" dip in the middle between the t track slots. So if you are making accurate cuts this saw may not be for you

Solid saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great saw. I do wish the spindle was longer to handle a wider dado stack but I guess it’s meant for job site rips more than fine woodworking projects

Great product
1st table saw and for what I do with it the 8-1/4 in. is enough, but the angle is hard to set quickly and don't have positive stop for current angles.
Replaced a very old but reliable Makita.
After first cut I wished I bought a new DeWalt years ago. what a difference.
Easy to use and easy to move
Yes, I recommend this product.

I should’ve done more research.

Had I done just a little more research, I would’ve found out, this saw doesn’t except Dado sets. Other than that it’s a nice saw for it’s size.

This Saw does not support dado blades, and a woodworker will soon regret this purchase for that reason alone.

Good Table Saw but No Dust Port
I purchased this saw a few months ago. I didn't have a specific project in mind but knew i'd need one eventually so I opted for the 8inch rather than 10 for the light work I'd likely do. To my surprise this one came bundled with the stand at the local hardware store so it was a good buy. I've put it to use on a few projects and it doesn't disappoint. It was easy to setup, the included blade cuts well, and the safety features are thoughtful. I do wish that it had the ability to quick connect to the stand instead of using bolts. Also, there is no dust bag and the dust port doesn't fit the standard ShopVac hose. The saw isn't sealed and dust has tendency get get in lots of crevices including inside so be prepared to vacuum if you like to keep your tools clean. Maybe purchasing the required vac fitting will eliminate that issue.
Pros:
Cuts as expected - Has good fence widths for most DIY projects.
The fence can step down and flip to the opposite side for wider pieces.
Good safety devices for the novice cutter like me.
Cons:
No Dust Port - Lots of cleaning, steals some joy every time
Saw sits awkwardly on the stand and attaches with bolts. Needs a quick connect feature
Yes, I recommend this product.
