Charger and USB Adaptor Kit - 20 V MAX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thoughts on seeing this charging kit were it would be a great way to charge phones or other personal devices when on a job site, out in the field, or camping. After testing, I found this to be a fantastic way to quickly charge my 20v batteries. When comparing to my DCB107 battery charger, the USB Charging Kit charges a 1.5Ah battery 13 minutes faster. From fully dead to fully charged, it takes 24 minutes as opposed to 37. This product is also great for charging personal devices. It is able to fast charge android phones, and can even charge two devices at once. All-in-all, this is a great product and I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for me I always have my Dewalt 4 baycharger with me so I didn’t use the charging feature to charge my batteries but in case of emergency it’s nice to have in a pinch, but when i’m working on job site a lot of time I don’t have electrical so this is very nice to have very compact to make sure of my electronics won’t run out of juice. I love that it has the type C charging capability I do complete remodels in residential. so my cell phone is essential for music and communication with the small size/footprint. It’s nice to have on my jobs. also, one of my work vans doesn’t have the capability to charge cell phones so this will be used in that truck the majority of the time and i’ll be worth the investment!

Here is the error. Charging the flex volt 12amp batt with a 100w PD Anker charger to full. Then trying to use the USB c out fails to deliver any charge to 2020 to 2023 Samsung phones and tablets, Google phones, LG and Apple laptops and tablets. USB A power out works. Discharging the batt 5%, and it works. Charing with the included 65w dose not have this problem. The 6ah flex volt dose not have this problem. I moved to mostly the 12ah packs, and it sucks that I have to run it for 30 sec on a 60v angle grinder before it works on phones and laptops. Same problem with using the rapid charger, then trying USB c, with the 12ah. Probably over voltage detection errors, and a fully charged 12ah. No other problems in the last 6 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have all had those moments where our phone is dying and there is no outlet to be found. Well, here comes the dewalt USB charger! This is a pretty simple device. You slide this on to a battery and plug in your USB cord. Pretty straight forward and simple, yet very handy! The only challenge now is to remember to bring a cord with me. The included charger is nice and all, but I haven't found much of a need to charge with the included plug. Frankly, I think this is kind of pointless as part of the tool. It takes longer to charge the battery versus using the standard charging dock. I think the only time I would charge via the USB-C will be with a backup solar panel for camping. This makes hooking up to solar more simple, but in reality a very rare use case for myself.

I’ve used it to charge headphones, cellphones, headlamps and even a Chromebook. What makes it better is the ability to charge Dewalt batteries with it. The only thing I would like to see l, it might need to be a completely different product, is a 110 AC outlet to run small electrical devices. The supplied power supply is very high quality and a huge plus to the kit

A usb-c port, usb, and 60w charging block are just a few features that make this product a must have for contractors and homeowners alike. Seems very well built as i have carried it in the van, had it on the job, and back and forth to the house daily, just plug it in and go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A Portable charger is ALWAYS useful. A portable charger that can provide extra boost to a laptop in the field priceless! This when connected to a FlexVolt battery (assuming it works with other batteries but this is what I used when I was in need) gave enough power to help recharge my laptop, allowing me to finish what was needed. Vital tool for charging battery, or using battery to charge devices!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I like that it clicks into the battery, others I’ve had would slide off, the clip is a good touch as well so it’s easy to walk around with. Helpful that it can charge a battery so I don’t have to bring my chargers in. Right now I’m on a job site with no power yet and it lets me charge my phone without having to leave it in the car so I can continue to do my work.
