This is the most powerful impact driver I've used. Paired with the XR batteries it gives great run time and excellent torque and driving capability

Whether you're 20 foot high putting a tin roof on a cattle building or on the ground building a new home, this incredible tool does it all! If you are going down the road and your tires pops put on the right adapter and making it a impact wrench to help change your tire! Maybe you are trying to drill some holes to bolt a board to some thick angle iron throw in a drill bit and let that puppy go to work for you! You could just be a weekend warrior trying to build a new deck for your house bam you have it built in no time! These impacts seem almost indestructible drop them from 20 feet up hope no ones underneath ya, because this sucker is gonna hurt. You are probably thinking dang I am going to have to buy a new impact after that fall, think again not with the great technology that Dewalt uses to make sure their tools stand the test of time! I hope all you out there go buy ones of these amazing impacts! But thats not all! You wouldn't believe some of the amazing adaptors for these little work hogs, super handy and ingenuitive! I use an impact non stop at work at 8 hours a day 5 days a week. After extensively searching articles and videos I purchased this impact driver, but there was no reviews for using it all day long. The only thing I could find was the classic youtube videos of guys running lags. (big help) Being the proud owner of an 887 for a stupid amount of years...what could go wrong with an upgrade? Now remember, this impact is going through the ringer all day, but just incase someone else find themselves in the same position as me...dont buy this product. Problems after 6 months Gun lacks power (fine its atomic, ill give it to dewalt) Gun makes very strange noises occasionally Batteries dont last long (batteries Ive tried= 5amp-too heavy for all day use 4amp compact-best option so far, change batteries 3 times in 1 work day powerstack-maybe try the new battery for better results? no, battery lasted 1:30 minutes and the absolute worse thing this impact does that drives me insane.... it kicks into reverse randomly, many times in a day so, if your looking to grab something you dont use often.?!? maybe this will work for you, but if you depend on it heavy all day to get cash money to support your family..maybe the 850. idk, Id hate to get another disappointing gun
