Bench Grinder - 6" - 5/8 HP - 4 A

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about 6 months ago and it works but gets so hot it burned my hand when I took a rest and went to shut it off was doing fine details on a project (extremely light force) for about 20 min same work done for years on old grinder with no heat detected, none that was to a preceivable level at least. Heat means bad connection or friction both are a premature dead tool, I know planned obsolescence is real but geez guys.

Replaced this for my basic bench grinder at work. Powerful enough for a 6" chineese made grinder. The reason I came here wasn't to give feedback, since I'm here I thought I would. One of my co-workers broke one of the eye shields, he's one of those guys that could brake an anvil in a sandbox.

Purchased the DW 756 bench grinder to use sharpening drill bits and lathe tools. I have to say, it exceeds my expectations for a 6" bench grinder. There is zero vibration with the grinding wheels which were included with the machine. I will certainly recommend this bench grinder to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great small bench grinder, stable and well balanced, very little vibration. Has guards for shards and protection around actual grinding wheel. Easy access to on/off switch that is solid. Easy to move around if needed, not too heavy.

I bought the grinder yesterday and am putting it together today. I am missing one external tooth washer. Still, it looks good.

I bought my two days ago. I have to say is the most quiet and powerful grinder. Thank you.

I really like this grinder. It is quite smooth running and has adequate power.
