[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this battery for a few days now, and let me just say it! Hands down, long last, packs lots of power, and rapid charging! I figured the best use of this battery would be on my handheld blower, because we frankly, it EATS batteries! I work in the construction industry, using loads of batteries daily! This has now risen to the first one I grab! size, form, and design nothing much new there.. Where this shines is fast charging, from nothing to done in about 2 hours and lasts for about 45 mins full blast on the blower! I am highly impressed because I only get about 20 mins typically on batteries with the blower at full blast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the 1.5 Ah batteries that came with my tools and have been very satisfied with them but this 6.0 Ah is a large leap above them. The tools seem to have more power and I have used the 6/0 Ah battery all day drilling holes and driving self tapping screws without it running out of power. It seems to give the tools better performance also, driiling and driving faster. More Power and Longer life coupled with the charge meter with only slightly more weight and size is a huge Win for me. I am also very happy the Battery can be used on a variety of tools. I have been skeptical of getting battery powered tools for high power applications but with this battery sign me up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this battery for several weeks now and it seems to be right in line with the other 60v batteries that I own. It has plenty of power, seems to last a while, and charges quickly. The color scheme has been updated slightly which makes it look more "modern" and better coordinates with the tools. I cannot speak to this yet, but I have had issues with other 60v batteries refusing to charge after a short time with no way to reset them. This battery has not had this issue and I hope it has been fixed. Overall good battery, price is high (but in line with competitors) if having to purchase new.

I bought a used 60v grinder, not realizing it came with 20v batteries. In a pinch and for cost reasons I bought an off-brand 60v battery thinking it was a good deal. After less than 10 charge cycles over about 6 weeks that battery stopped working. So far so good with my new battery runs my grinder, (DCG414), for over an hour of heavy grinding on steel with a flap disk. Did even better with the diamond wheels cutting concrete, something about 3 hours of intermittent work on one charge. Time will tell how the real Dewalt one will hold up but if my original 1.5ah drill batteries are any indication, I'll be using this 6ah for the next 8 years. Save yourself the hassle and go with the original yellow and black.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a need for extended run-times on your 20v power tools, this is the battery for you. Compared to the 9 Ah and 12 Ah Flexvolt batteries, the 6 Ah battery is considerably lighter but still provided a serious improvement over the run-time of the regular 20v batteries. As always, the built-in charge level indicator is a great addition to any battery. This the the new model of the 6.0 Ah Flexvolt battery and it seems to me that Dewalt improved on the quality of the battery shell. It feels more durable in your hand than the previous version. Being able to use this battery for both cordless power tools and on my Flexvolt yard tools is a huge convenience. Overall, this is one of the most versatile batteries on the market.

I purchased this less than a week ago. The first charge ran down very quickly so I charged again but no difference. I purchased these for longer runtime on my DCG413 and DCS367 saws. Very disappointed in these DCB606 batteries performance. My 5AH batteries actually are lasting longer. Off the charger they stay at 3 lights on the indicator but the first pull of the trigger drops them to 2 lights then quickly to one. then they run that way for several minutes of cutting before death. I would guess my 5AH is giving me about 2-3 more min cutting time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this battery for my range of Dewalt cordless tools. I couldn't have made a better choice. This battery lasts forever and provides more than enough power for every one of them. It is heavier than the smaller batteries that come with some of the tools, but that is too be expected. It is not overbearing and the trade off is absolutely worth it. The small things like the terminal cover for transporting and the power meter are what really did it for me. Just the fact I can switch this battery out to every one of my tools is a timesaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Dewalt driver came with 4ah batteries and I loved them. Now days the amp hours keep rising.. Great help when you can stay on the job without having to wait for the charger to catch up. These 6ah flexvolts are great especially when I can use them in my 20volt tools and then put them right into my 60 volt tools. It's also great that the flexvolts let you use your existing chargers. I have 12v, 20v and 60v flex and they all fit into the same charger. I really like the new 6amp charger. I think it's made to keep up with the higher ah batteries.I think the 6ah is great, I'll let the really strong guys lift the batteries with more ah..The cap that covers the contacts when the batteries aren't in use is also a great idea.
