great for construction sites and little stuff.
Had for almost a month. First day I had it, used it at work 1/2 dozen times. I have about 25 Dewalt tools and this is becoming my new friend. No its not a gas powered blower. It will however blow the leaves or dust off a driveway if just a few or small yard or blow out the garage or blow off a deck or blow out a construction site just don't expect it to blow 10 acres of leaves!! showing a customer of mine when I got it. He went and got one. Same he has a big gas one but sometimes you just need a lighter blowing!!!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Low battery life
I purchased A combo kit of this blower and weed eater I'm very pleased with the weed eater as it seems to get through my yard with 1 charge However I'm not impressed with the blower it's seems to only last about 15 minutes which is not enough time for me to blow grass clippings off my driveway and sidewalk after I'm done cutting my grass. I have a double deck in back and it runs out of power before I finish blowing off debris. I do think it's a good blower just has a short runtime on the battery.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Wife loves it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blower for my wife for Mother's day. We have a gas powered blower as well, but it isn't easy for her to start, so I thought a cordless blower would be easier for her to use. She uses it every day to blow leaves, seeds, etc out of our dog's pen. She uses it to blow off the deck, the driveway and sidewalks after mowing. Nothing to it. I mounted the battery charger right next to where the blower hangs, so it is very convenient. No gas smell or engine noise and lighter for her.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Just what I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DEWALT has done it again with one of the best cordless blowers yet. This is very lightweight, weighing in at 10.2 lbs. The blower works well for blowing out my garage and getting the leaves off my driveway & sidewalk. It is very comfortable to hold and has plenty of power. The bottom of the blower has a nice base so you can set it down and it stays upright without laying on its side. I really like that you can adjust the speed and lock it in for the job you are doing. The 5 ah battery & charger have lights that give you the status of the battery. I am really going to enjoy using this to blow dry my SUV after washing. Check out my photos, you will see how easy it is to use it one handed and it is very easy to control. I highly recommend this blower. It has the power of a lot corded electric blowers.

Lightweight and higher velocity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this handheld blower to review from Dewalt. I have the previous model and the updates are night and day different. This model is not only lighter, but has more blowing velocity. Top top it off, a Flexvolt battery will fit this model which did not on the previous unit. The blower came with a 5AH battery which works well, but you can actually "supercharge" the blower by adding the Flexvolt battery. The difference can be felt the first time you pull the trigger.
Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No issues with this whatsoever . . .I thought this might eliminate my
(Honey can you you just start your blower and sweep patios)
after a long days work, not to have to start up a loud gas tool .
When I get home our porches are dusty & dirty...
My wife complains of this...I usually see her sweeping

EXCELLENT!!! Can do this for several weeks daily maybe a month
without having to recharge the 20 V ...

BLOWS the competition away….
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know what’s great about DeWalt’s 20V leaf blower? I don’t have to mess with gas anymore. It’s light, it’s powerful, and it gets the job done without a lot of noise—literally. It moves leaves, dirt, and debris like nobody’s business, all without that smelly exhaust cloud hanging around. My old gas blower? It’s collecting dust in the shed because this DeWalt makes clearing a site quick and easy. No oil changes, no pull-starts, just grab and go.

Battery life is horrid!
The blower works great IF you have lots and lots of extra batteries charged. I just got this and used it to blow a two car garage and concrete driveway. The driveway is only one car length long. I blew threw two 5ah batteries and the both died before I could finish this small job. It’s really too bad because otherwise the blower has a lot of power but it should be able to manage power for more than just a few minutes per battery.

6AH battery 15 minutes
I buy a lot of dewalt tools, I got a good deal on this one. So I picked it up took it to a house we take care of and it only lasted 15 minutes on a 6 AH Battery. So if you can do all your blowing in 15 minutes it might be something worth picking up. But that seems pretty expensive if you figure in the price of the batteries, charger, and blower. You can do way better for less. Also this was the biggest battery I could put in it.

Dismal run time
While I like the lightweight and the overall operation, the run time is dismal. I used 2 fully charged batteries for a driveway and each battery lasted less than 10 minutes And I know the batteries I used are less than a year old. I've used DeWalt cordless drills for years and the batteries last "forever". I read reviews from a handful of sources but not every word that's out there, now I wish I had. I expected more.

Okay blower, biggest concern is battery life
5 years ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to clean off job sites and do little things around the house. It blows a lot of air and can cover a lot of surface area, to get the job done quickly. The blower is incredibly light weight too which is great. The negative is that with a 5 amp battery it will be fully dead in 10-15 minutes. I also have the compact max blower and the battery life is far superior on that model (and it’s a cheaper model).
Yes, I recommend this product.

Very disappointed-lasts about 15 minutes at best
a year ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a package with 4 Ah and 6 Ah batteries. I have wanted this blower for a while as I have an old gas powered one that I have to fight with each time I use it. Between my husband who is a contractor and myself (diy-er) we have many dewalt tools-drills, compact drivers, saws, sanders, router, etc. I was extremely disappointed with the battery length and the lack of power this tool has. It may last 15 minutes. I can barely get my driveway and sidewalk done before it dies. I have to use the other fully charged battery to finish. I would never recommend this to anyone especially at the price point. I wanted to stick with DeWalt as we have had little to no issues with the other tools/products. However, this does not fall in line with the normal high quality of the DeWalt name. After seeing the other reviews for this product, I am glad to see it is not just me.

Short life - do not buy
I should have read reviews before buying. I have been pleased with the DeWalt tools I have purchased in the past but maybe should have gone a different direction on lawn and garden tools. I used it maybe 10 times over the year with no issue. I went to blow some snow and it started for about 10 seconds and then quit. I changed the battery twice and nothing. I would not recommend this product

Nice and Light
I love how convenient this blower is. Its nice and light. There's no cord to worry about, and no excessive noise. You just pull the trigger; your off and going. Even my 83 year old mother uses it to dust off the patio. Yes the battery only last around 15min, so having a spare or spares is crucial. The airflow is adequate you do have to chase the heavier stuff around but gets the work done.

Terrible Run Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Other reviewers have already mentioned the <15 minute run time, but I will add that you only get full power for less than 5. Terrible run time and weak blower. If you just want a lightweight blower to quickly blow off a sidewalk this might be for you, but if you have anything that takes longer than 10 minutes, dont wast your time with this blower. I will add I use it with a 20V 5Ah battery.

My first Dewalt product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product as our first battery powered tool in our family. I was encouraged to buy a Dewalt product by my son-in-law and it was confirmed by the store employee. Buy Dewalt for quality and the other products it offers. I have been extremely pleased with the product and my wife likes it for the convenience and lightweight feature. Look forward to exploring other products.

I have had several different blowers over the last few years. This is the ONE!. I have the small DeWalt workshop blower which I love, but my wife kept taking it. She finally asked for her own. This is the model she got and we are both extremely impressed with the power. We are already invested into the 20V Max batteries, so we have plenty of juice to go around for big jobs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this almost every day for two months it is Great. We live in the woods and this time of year we have a lot of stuff falling of the trees. A little over 100 Ft of drive way + a lot of side walk. 5 AH battery last for the whole job plus more. Blows sticks very far. This is a top of the line battery blower . I would recommend this 100 %. Thank you very much.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I have all Dewalt tools and have mostly very satisfied until now. When choosing between this model and a STIHL model 57 battery blower, that I have used before and works great, I stayed brand loyal and even paid more. This is a very cheap blower and nowhere near the air velocity or volume as advertised. Unfortunately my wife already threw the box out so can’t return

Good tool for around home or shop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually a pretty good tool for what it is. Don’t expect what you get from a gas powered blower. But I’d say it’s within 90% of the corded blower it replaced. Bought it to clean my shop and carport and patio areas. Does the job pretty well. No cords to pull around. No noise from a gas motor. Not too heavy or uncomfortable to tote around. Solid blower

Blower tube won't stay on
I bought this March 2024. Wind velocity is good but the concentration tube keeps blowing off the blower unit. There is a latch that locks the tube to the blower and it is faulty. Getting in touch for a replacement has been somewhat challenging. We'll see how it goes in the end. My wife is frustrated that she goes to use it and the darn thing won't work.

Surprisingly powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower is surprisingly powerful for being battery powered. It's perfect for cleaning driveways and sidewalks after mowing or blowing leaves off small yards.
I tried it on some wet leaves and it had no trouble at all with them.
It is battery powered so you won't have extensive run time for large yard leaf removal, but for light duty uses its great.

Lightweight and simple to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blower 3 years ago, and while a bit under powered for my taste, it has served my half acre lot with (sidewalks/paved trails on 2 sides ) very well. It is light and simple to use. The trigger hold on the top is useful but tends to slip it into lower gear unless held down. I am currently upgrading to the 60v model for additional power.

I really like this model over the previous version, it seems to have much more power and the balance and noise are great. The removable tip is a nice touch for certain type of jobs so if you are on the fence, go ahead and get the upgrade. Some good deals out there so it was time to upgrade all my outdoor landscaping tools for the year, glad I did!

GREATLY DISAPPOINTED
In looking for a new leaf blower, Dewalt was the first brand I thought of. Almost all of my power tools are Dewalt and they have all proven to have been the right choice. Then I bought a Dewalt leaf blower. Never been so DISAPPOINTED in a product in all my life. Using a freshly charged battery I only have 13 to 15 minutes to go from start to finish so I have to have a couple more batteries charging in order to get the job done. But that is only half the issue. The other reason it takes to long is due to the COMPLETE lack of air flow coming out of this blower. The wind force is lacking any kind of real force at all. More like a light wind blowing. Its so lacking that it will not even clean out what gets lodged between the expansion joints in my concrete driveway. Had to go out and buy an off brand electric blower to get the job done. I expected much better from Dewalt and I find that now when I need a new tool I am looking at buying brands other than Dewalt.
No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a few weeks ago to clean my garage after a project. Impressed with the power I get out of this little guy. Battery interchangeable with my drills. No need for extra chargers or a complete overhaul. Does drain the battery when using for long pulls. Recommend shorter bursts of air to keep it blowing longer on one charge.

Bought this 20 v blower less than a month ago with a 5 amp and 6 amp pair of batteries, I have many DeWalt cordless tools but this one is a bust. I bought this a little over a month ago. Granent the one battery wasn't enough so I bought an extra one. Pricey? Maybe. But when it comes to the convenience of not having a cord or durability of a decent tool. I'd rather pay the money. The power is okay not good enough for residential construction it’s a slow down and the run time is horrid I burned up all three bars on a 6 amp hr 60/20 flex volt in 7 mins.
