Alex Plus Fast Dry caulk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this caulk just as I was starting an outdoor project. I installed windows and lots of exterior siding. The caulk is rated for indoor/ outdoor use. My sample tube went quickly, due to the size of the project. I was very pleased with the smoothness and ease as it came out of my caulk gun. I wound up buying 6 more tubes to finish the project. The price is very reasonable, takes paint well and cleans up easily. I am not sure how the caulk will last long term, but with the silicone component to it, I do expect it to last a good while. I would certainly recommend this product. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go buy one more tube...

Clean up was simple and not too messy. Dry time was short, good for small quick jobs. I like the product for its smooth trigger and ergonomic grip handle to make jobs quick and easy. The caulk did not have that bad of a smell unlike some products I've tried in the past. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ALEX Fast Dry Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone - White has measurements on the nozzle to make sure you cut the correct size for the project needed. The directions are easy to read and follow, though the print may be a bit small for older people to read clearly. The tube easily fit my caulk gun and I was able to apply the product evenly around my windows. I smoothed it out and it dried fast. I don't plan to paint this, but it is paint-able. It has only been a week, but it is looking nice and the product has a 1 year guarantee. I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

It went on surfaces very smooth and when i painted over it it was very easy to paint over. It provides 50 years of protection and also will not mold. This caulk can be used on many different projects. Any do it yourselfer or professional can use this caulk. Compared to other caulk i have used i would say this one works much better overall. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves to do projects around the house or to any professional. I will definitely buy this in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pulled the old caulking from around my tub and tiled enclosure and put in new fixtureres and recaulked with the DAP Alex fast dry acrylic plus silicone. This has held up well and dried fast as claimed. It was simple to use, went on smoothly, sealed with no bubbles or breakage. I am not a contractor...we have contractors in the family, in the house even...but I am a do it yourselfer female. I had no issues applying this product. It cleans up well and is easy to get a professional quality application. I would purchase this line in the future.

DAP is a brand my family is very familial with ,.we buy and trust it because it does it job.and is a good value for our money. This caulk was very easy to use ( maybe a slight bit watery than I like ) but did a super quick job, smoothed easily ,dried in about 30 minutes and so you can paint almost immediately..It is not quite odorless but not overpowering at all ,so no real need for ventilation .and cleans up quickly with water It was great for filling holes and on painted interior trim. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ALEX Fast Dry Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone dries really fast, which means you need to work at the speed it dries up. If not, you will have to take it out and redo it. When you work fast and have a steady hand, the product comes out very smooth. However, it can get a bit heavy when you are working with the product for quite some time. The trigger tends be to smooth once you get the handle of your work speed and how fast you are suspending the silicone. I think it is a great product and I will be buying it again.

We used this product to finish Crown molding, baseboards, and trim work around door openings. I really like that the product dries fast so that you can paint over it quickly and get your job done even faster. This product is very consistent, does the job well, and it's very easy to use.
